My now-husband and I had our wedding at Briar Patch in June and it was awesome!! Ellen, Dan, and Doron were all great to work with. They are easy going, flexible, and listened to us. We loved being able to have a full weekend celebration at the B&B— the grounds of Briar Patch are beautiful and the Inn is clean and cozy. The cherry on top was hanging out by the pool and hot tub with our friends and family after our wedding reception. Can’t recommend enough

I can’t say enough good things about Morningside Inn! It was the absolute perfect location for my daughter’s wedding. Besides the outer grounds being so idyllic, the inside of the inn was also just beautiful. One of the best things about Morningside is the list of vendors they regularly work with. We were planning a very spur-of-the-moment wedding — from engagement to married in 2 months! — and I don’t know how we would have done it without Morningside and their list of vendors! It just made the whole thing so easy. We worked with Flowers by Wendy Carol, James Bonato videographer, Melanie at Retrospect Designs photographer and Sage Cakery. All 5 stars. At Morningside, Rachael so graciously answered our many questions leading up to the event. And Shannon on the day of was absolutely indispensable. She offered a very calm and grounding presence that was much appreciated! Even the bartenders and other staff were just right on point. I highly recommend Morningside Inn! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We never thought a fairy tale wedding was possible, but thanks to Mountain Memories, they made that happen. The staff were amazing and made our day happen. Julie, our coordinator for that day, calmed our worries and made our day run smoothly. If you are looking for that Twilight or Lord of the Rings location, this one is it! This beautiful place is surrounded by forest, and we were lucky to see all the beautiful flowers blooming.

We booked Marriott Ranch about a year in advance. We did the weekend package so our whole bridal party could stay together on site. We worked with Stephanie and when she left, Jordan took over a few months before the wedding. It made me nervous. I had no reason to be, Jordan and his staff were absolutely amazing. They were communicative and organized. Our wedding went literally perfectly, not a single thing went wrong and it was due to their professionalism. The food is amazing, easily the best wedding food I've ever had and multiple people mentioned it to me. We loved the house, the wedding site by the tree, and the reception pavilion. I also felt like it was a really good value and very fairly priced. We did our rehearsal dinner there as well and it was gorgeous and excellent. I feel incredibly blessed to have been married at Marriott Ranch and I would recommend them to anyone.

On a beautiful October day in 2017 my now husband and I decided to go pumpkin picking at a farm in Poolesville, MD. On the drive to the farm, we stumbled over a one lane bridge and drove straight up a driveway instead of continuing on the road as we were supposed to. Looking at each other for a second, we realized we had discovered something far more exciting than pumpkin picking, we were at a winery! We said "Let's go get our pumpkins and come back here." And that's exactly what we did. We literally felt that we had hit the jackpot. And then we tried the wines and we were in heaven. We knew it was fate that we had found this place, and secretly dubbed it "our spot" and visited multiple times together following.   Fast forward to early 2019, when we knew that the proposal was coming, we saw that Rocklands Farm was hosting a wedding show. With the ring not yet on my hand, we immediately RSVP'd. We arrived at the show and even without a full tour, we asked to speak to whomever scheduled events and within days 10.10.2020 was our date. The proposal happened a couple of months later but the plan had already been set. From the second we started discussing hosting our wedding at Rocklands Farm with the owner, Janis, we were met with raving enthusiasm and positivity. She made us feel special and heard, and each time we visited she greeted us with a glowing smile. After we booked with Janis, we were referred to the only catering and events company that they use, Simply Fresh, who we worked with on everything else going forward. While our wedding had been in the making for more than a year when COVID-19 happened, Janis and Simply Fresh were both extremely kind in helping us to alter our plans to fit new guidelines and comfort levels. Should you get married or host an event at Rocklands Farm? Absolutely yes. Janis is wonderful to work with, and really makes you feel important. The location is superb, and incredibly picturesque and unique compared to other venues in the area. Your pictures will be incredible and they will even drive you around the farm to make sure you get your shots! While we only had 14 people at our wedding due to COVID-19 (down from 130), our guests raved about the location, the food, everything - it was amazing. The price is comparable, and may even be less... keep in mind you are paying for the venue and then you negotiate with the catering and events company based on what you are looking for, so it's easy to make the cost fit your budget and specialize the event to your liking. The venue fee also gives you access to an abundance of decor, that Simply Fresh can help coordinate if you choose to use it. Overall, we're incredibly happy and feel lucky to have gotten married at Rocklands Farm. It's something we will remember forever, and we will continue to visit and enjoy their amazing wines and atmosphere for years to come.

Seneca Creek is an absolutely beautiful venue that offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural elegance. From the spacious, cozy lodge to the airy outdoor tent pavilion, every detail of the space is thoughtfully maintained and ideal for weddings or other special gatherings. We rented it for my sons wedding reception. Guests were impressed by the scenic setting and the seamless combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue is also a great value, with inclusive options like tables and chairs that make planning easier. With enough room to comfortably host around 90-100 guests, Seneca Creek is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable, and well-run location to celebrate a special day. Highly recommended!

Smokey Glen Farm is the best!! Our event coordinator was Mark and he made sure everything was perfect on our big day. We will definitely continue to have all future events at Smokey Glen Farm.
