Nestled in the heart of Virginia wine country, Tranquility Farm & Winery is a historic private estate and working winery in Purcellville, Virginia, where vineyards, wines, and unforgettable celebrations come together on the same breathtaking property. Dating back more than 200 years, the 70-acre estate offers panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views, rolling vineyards, and an exclusive wedding experience unlike any other.
At Tranquility Farm, only one wedding is hosted at a time, giving each couple private access to the estate and the freedom to celebrate at their own pace. Facilities & Capacity
The estate features two distinctive reception venues and a variety of picturesque ceremony locations to suit every wedding style. Exchange vows on the scenic Hilltop Lawn overlooking the vineyards and Blue Ridge Mountains, beneath the graceful Willow Tree, on the romantic Wisteria Terrace, within the intimate Fieldstone Courtyard, or in one of several other beautiful outdoor settings throughout the property.
For receptions, the elegant Glass Manor at the Silo offers a spectacular climate-controlled venue with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and seating for up to 300 guests. Couples seeking a more intimate celebration will appreciate the beautifully restored Historic Bank Barn, featuring exposed timber beams, soaring ceilings, and seating for up to 120 guests.
The estate's vineyards, gardens, historic architecture, and sweeping countryside create stunning backdrops for cocktail hours, wedding portraits, and celebrations throughout the weekend.
Wedding Weekend Experience
Tranquility Farm specializes in exclusive wedding weekends, allowing couples and their loved ones to gather, celebrate, and stay together on the estate. Three beautifully appointed residences—the historic Manor House, the Vineyard Cottage, and the newly renovated Gruner Bungalow—provide comfortable overnight accommodations for up to 38 guests, making it easy to host welcome gatherings, rehearsal dinners, the wedding celebration, and a farewell brunch without leaving the property.
As a working winery, Tranquility Farm offers an authentic Virginia wine country experience. Every wedding features wines crafted by the estate, including Draksha, our traditional-method sparkling wine, and Otium, our collection of estate-grown and artisanal wines sourced from our Loudoun County vineyards.
Wedding packages range from single-day celebrations to exclusive multi-day estate weekends, with attractive pricing available for weekday and winter weddings. The most perfect wedding weekend venue
We were able to host our entire wedding party, parents, and several close friends between the 2 houses on site and booking the VRBO across the street. This was amazing having everyone there all weekend and they all said it felt like a mini getaway.
There are so many breathtaking locations at Tranquility and it was so nice to be able to use them all weekend. We hosted our rehearsal dinner on the gorgeous back patio of the manor house under the pergola on Friday night, on Saturday all the girls got ready in the beautiful historic manor house, our wedding ceremony took place on the high field with views of the silo and winery, our cocktail hour was on front patio of the manor house surrounded with blooming hydrangeas and ivy covered stone walls, our reception took place in the elegant black barn, and our after party was in the amazing silo and had bonfire pits outside! It truly was a weekend for the books and everyone can’t stop talking about how amazing it was!
Mindy from Tranquility was the best! She was not only professional but so kind and easy to work with! As a bride I always had a million questions swirling around in my head and she was able to respond to my many questions and emails within minutes to a day!

More than a wedding — an experience!
The most perfect venue ever
Suzanne was beyond incredible and accommodating for our wedding weekend, and was the definition of kind and empathetic as we navigated all of the COVID challenges. My husband is Indian so we had a three day event: a Hawaiian-themed rehearsal dinner/Pitti celebration on Friday, a Jewish wedding on Saturday, and an Indian wedding on Sunday. It was very important to us to have options on where to have each component of the weekend, that way they felt like distinctly different events despite being at the same venue.
Given Tranquility's incredible spaces, that was no issue at all. We hosted our rehearsal on the back patio (stunning!), and all of my 9 bridesmaids were able to sleep at the beautiful house with me, which made logistics so easy! We had the American wedding ceremony on the concrete pad up on the hill, American cocktail hour by the silo, the reception in the barn, and had henna done in the lower level of the barn. For the Indian wedding we had the ceremony on the grass by the house, the cocktail hour in the beautiful gravel round about in front of the house, and the reception in the barn.
Everything couldn't have been more perfect and I'm so happy we chose Tranquility! They're not a factory wedding venue like so many others, so you truly get a unique and stunning experience. We got so many compliments from our guests and the photos are everything. I can't recommend them enough!!
An Unparalleled Venue
The property has so many amazing spots to use which was key for us considering we had a three day wedding- rehearsal dinner on Friday, American wedding on Saturday, and Indian wedding on Sunday.
We used the patio behind the house for a beautiful rehearsal dinner and had a pizza truck set up on the gravel roundabout in front of the house. My bridesmaids slept over with me the night before my American wedding in the stunning house, which was the best! Plus, it saved me money on not needing a bridal suite at a hotel. Our American wedding and cocktail hour was up by the silo, and the reception was in the barn. We also had a mehndi (henna artists) in the lower level of the barn during the reception.
For our Indian wedding we got married in the grass by the barn and had our reception in the barn. Everything was absolutely perfect and our guests kept commenting on how gorgeous Tranquility was. It felt like a destination wedding but with the convenience of DC! Plus, my parents and grandparents stayed in the upper house which they were so happy with that way they didn’t need to take a bus back to the hotel.
Choosing Tranquility was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding weekend! Thank you Suzanne!
