Wow! Choosing Jordan Springs as my wedding venue was one of the best decisions I made when selecting my wedding vendors. My husband and I had only six months to plan our wedding—and boy, did that come with a lot of work! I am so glad I came across Jordan Springs because of its all-inclusive offerings and affordability. The venue includes food, drinks, decorations, music, an officiant, and a wedding planner. But the best part about Jordan Springs is their wedding planner, Colt! I work night shifts, so I did most of my planning at night, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated his prompt responses—even at 3 AM! He was so on top of everything, making the entire process so much less stressful. I honestly can’t imagine planning my wedding at another venue without Colt. On the wedding day, I felt completely at ease because of him. I didn’t stress one bit—he brought my dream wedding to life. It was absolutely perfect! Multiple guests complimented how incredible Colt was—it’s clear he excels at what he does. Guests also raved about how beautiful the wedding was and how much they enjoyed the food and cake. My husband’s and my families are pretty picky and have high standards, so the fact that they praised the food says a lot! The bartenders were quick and friendly, and the entire Jordan Springs team was amazing. They worked so efficiently, and I can't thank them enough for giving me the fairytale wedding I had always imagined!

Our wedding at MV was absolutely gorgeous. I chose the site not only because my parents had gotten married there 28 years prior, but also because it blends historic charm, elegance, and good service. Ashley was wonderful to work with. She's kind and gracious, cheerful, and just absolutely lovely. Throughout the tasting and multiple meetings, everyone else we encountered was very pleasant. I'd love to personally thank the woman who waited on our sweetheart table the night of. My husband and I couldn't finish our meal (you get generous portions which is awesome!) which of course happens when you need to talk to your guests, and the staff packed up everything including cake so we could enjoy the food later that night. The sunken garden is a great spot for a ceremony. We can even attest that it's pretty well-protected during a torrential downpour. We loved that the space has multiple rooms for the event. That allowed guests who didn't want to be around for loud music during dancing to go socialize on their own. We were able to plan the evening with the help of Ashley so that guests did not have to move to different rooms too many times throughout the evening in order to watch events. One note to be aware of - when you pay for wedding coordination, you are paying for a team of people. I'd glossed over that while reading the planning materials, and was rather thrown off when several people tag-teamed running the event the day of. Nevertheless, Anthony handled everything very professionally, and the night went well. Oh, and I should also mention that Anthony ran our rehearsal, and was phenomenal at organizing everyone, and giving me advice on how walking down the aisle should go (something I hadn't thought much about till that moment!). This really is the most original event space you'll find in the DC area that isn't going to break the bank. The staff is very kind, the food excellent, and the amenities wonderful. Quick tip: We took most of our photos right outside the inn (and they were amazing), but literally two minutes down the highway on the right is a little park on the river where we took couple photos. I was married at Barns at Crest Hill and it succeeded all of my expectations. First the view is unbelievable. Watching the sunset over the little mountain in the backdrop and lake Athlone with Irish music playing was picture perfect. We had a little hide-away bar in the silo itself, and it felt like we were in a medieval tower. This is not a cutesy country farm with lots of rough spots showing... It is regal property where every corner has been perfected, and where you can craft the perfect vision you have for your wedding and make it a reality. Another favorite? The majestic fireplace overlooking a pebblsteone patio that rivaled the pavilion as a dance floor. Your guest will find plenty of nooks. Just sneak inside to the pub, or upstairs for a window view and soak it all in. Amazing people to do business with, amazing location, and the nearby town of Marshall is picture perfect Americana. Don't miss the Red Truck Bakery!

We loved having our wedding at the George Washington National Masonic Memorial! My fiancé and I actually met while working at this venue three years prior to our wedding, so it was a special place for us. We were married in the theater, had a cocktail hour and reception following in Grand Masonic Hall. The building itself is an amazing work of art, with a lot of great photo opportunities - think red, gold, and marble. We received many compliments from our guests on our choice of this unique venue. We also provided guests with a chance to ride up the elevators during cocktail hour to see the view from the ninth floor - spectacular! Radka and Kevin, and all of the tour guides, are great to work with. We would highly recommend this beautiful venue to other couples getting married in Alexandria!

We definitely spent more than we were quoted, however, the benefit of experience, a network of good vendors that are used to working together, and high quality production work by all the staff was worth it. The Rosemont was beautiful; provided a good wedding to send-off brunch experience for all of us; and had lots of items available as free/rentals/cool ideas. Our guests noted it was very well run. They also said it was one of the most beautiful and happiest weddings they had ever been to. We had no stress on the day, just a lot of joy and happy guests.

My wife and I could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding at Friends Meeting of Washington. The entire team was responsive, flexible, kind, and truly happy for us on our big day. They were willing to answer any and all questions, and were there on site day of to assist with anything we needed. It's a great value for the space, and the outdoor garden area is absolutely gorgeous in the spring and summer! We couldn't recommend them enough!

Josephine Butler Parks Center (JPBC) is such a beautiful venue, we had our wedding there in November of 2024 and couldn’t have picked a better place. The entire process of venue selection can be daunting, and JBPC made it easy for us. We signed up for an initial walkthrough and fell in love with the history of the building, the unique layout, and the beautiful art and color schemes in each room. Steve guided us on our tour and answered all our questions, and we knew right away that this was where we wanted to hold our wedding. Taking several months to plan our wedding, we coordinated with JPBC staff to do two additional tours where they answered even more questions and allowed us to see what different lighting configurations looked like and make measurements to finalize our configuration for the big day. For the reception, we decided to seat our guests in the main ballroom, have the dance floor on the second floor foyer, place the bar out on the balcony, and serve the buffet and cake in the south gallery. Seating was a little tight in the main ballroom, as we had our guests sit at fifteen round tables that were 5 feet in diameter, with a sweetheart table by the larger fireplace. But we made it work and it was a fantastic day for us overall!

When you don’t want any event but you want “the” event this special hidden gem of a venue could be the perfect choice for you as it was for us. This historic venue has the staff food and wine to match its beauty. This is not your typical hotel ballroom, if you want your event to feel different, special, and memorable this is where you should book. We visited many venues in the area a year ahead of time so had many choices before picking this one and are so glad we did. The differences aren’t just the venue, but the staff who went above and beyond to make sure it really was a special day. We’re so glad we picked DACOR Bacon for our one in a lifetime day.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Rixey Manor! Choosing to have our wedding there was one of the best decisions we made. It was truly an unforgettable venue that had everything we could have dreamed of and more! From the moment we booked, Isadora and Grace were amazing—accommodating, knowledgeable, extremely responsive, and helpful answering any questions we had and offering much needed guidance. There’s no need for a separate wedding planner because they are an exceptional team! They provided excellent vendor recommendations, seamlessly coordinated every detail, and made the entire planning process feel manageable and smooth. They really thought of everything to make our wedding day unique and special! We had the entire manor for the weekend, from Friday through Sunday, which included beautiful bedrooms where some of our family stayed and it felt so special that we could all stay together and celebrate. And the guest house where the groomsmen stayed and got ready was very helpful and so much fun! This made the experience feel like a full, immersive celebration. We held both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the manor, which made everything convenient for our guests and was the perfect way to start our wedding weekend. Our ceremony was originally going to be outdoors in front of the manor, but rain forced us to move it to our tented reception area. Isadora and Grace handled this change in plans with such ease, ensuring that our wedding was still beautiful, stress-free, and magical—rain or shine. They quickly transitioned everything so our reception could also take place on the scenic patio, where elegant decorations and stunning views created the perfect atmosphere. Rixey Manor is much more than just a beautiful venue. The manor itself is a treasure, with its ballroom, cozy library, fireplaces, and a charming rooftop veranda where guests can hang out and enjoy incredible views. It felt like a home away from home, but with all the elegance of a high-end venue. The staff, including the friendly and attentive bartending team, made us and our guests feel so special. I got ready at the manor with my bridal party—15 bridesmaids, plus family members—and it was such a great experience! The team thought of everything and provided everything we needed to be prepared for the day. They were also great with children, helping our two flower girls feel welcome and comfortable. If you are considering Rixey Manor for your wedding, absolutely book it! You will be taken care of every step of the way. You’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery and cared for by a team who genuinely wants your day to be perfect. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, thanks to Isadora, Grace and Rixey Manor! We love you guys!

I am so incredibly thankful to all the folks at Rockwood Manor. My husband and I had a great experience through and through working with their team. Ryan gave us a tour and answered all my questions thoroughly, Autumn and Ryan helped us and answered more questions as we waited for our wedding to arrive, and Lucy helped tremendously day of work fluffing my veil/train. They provide tables and chairs, which was very convenient for us. The space is so beautiful and prices were so reasonable. If you’re a resident of Montgomery County, you would be eligible for in county discount pricing. My guests raved about how much they loved the venue and how perfect it was. It truly was a perfect day.
