Top of the Town is an event venue located in Arlington, Virginia. This extraordinary space will take your special day to new heights as you and your loved ones gather. Top of the Town offers a unique experience that will leave a lasting impression on you and all your guests.
Facilities and Capacity
Top of the Town is an elegant reception facility that features dramatic views of our Nation’s Capital across the Potomac River. The view includes Washington, D.C. monuments including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, the Capitol, the Jefferson Memorial, and more. Whether you choose to host your event during the day or at night, the views will be spectacular.
There are many different layout options for your wedding ceremony, reception, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, or other special events. The main room (2,700 square feet) is large enough to host special occasions with up to 150 guests seated with a dance floor. The room can also be divided into smaller sections for more intimate affairs. This event room features tall ceilings, elegant chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views, and a spacious dance floor. There is no additioanl fee to have a ceremony and reception in the main room.
Adjacent to the main room, is a separate space, the Monumental Room, for ceremonies, pre-event activities, smaller receptions, and more. The Monumental Room has the same spectacular view, wood and carpet flooring, soft chandelier lighting, and airy feel. There is a separate fee for the Monumental Room.
Top of the Town’s property includes an outdoor deck adjacent to the main room. The deck can be used as a comfortable lounge area with outdoor furniture and mood lighting and, in good weather, for ceremonies. The sound system can be used with host supplied device for music, visuals, and speeches on your big day. Additionally, there is plenty of on-site parking available for the convenience for your guests.

But just few points that I believe are important for you to know for your wedding organization: they are very tight about the time you paid for, if you need extra time to bring stuff or decor you will need to pay and you will just have 3hrs before the guests can get in to do everything😅 (so take that in consideration)

I did like how they had a pre-approved list of vendors to pick from. This made my research of finding a caters and DJ easy. In addition, they have worked the venue before so no surprises. Also, tables and chairs are included so we didn't need to rent which was great.
All pur guest were taken back by the views and how elegant the room looked.

We have been providing wedding cakes and desserts to special events at the Top of the Town for over a decade. The venue has a spectacular view and the staff are always accommodating to guests. We have personally attended two weddings here - wow, what a place!
Top of the Town is the most beautiful venue in and about the city of Washington, DC. It has - by far - the most wonderful view of the city. Newscasts and movies use this location as their premier spot for a backdrop. There is a great outdoor deck that is just the ultimate lure. I have seen every group of people drawn out there for the magnificent view. The windows, from inside, have the same view, but people just have to get outside - almost magnetically! It can be raining or a snowstorm, and they WILL go outside. On top of that, the service is great and the food is abundant and delicious. Top of the Town is a rare combination that works to make your wedding just right. You will love it!
