I received the most flexible arrangement for my wedding, my guest loved it soooo much and the view? Just perfect to make our wedding something to do both forget.

Top of the Town was the final venue we toured on our search, and the minute we saw the view from the ballroom, we had to book our wedding here. It is truly a beautiful venue. The team, including Veronica, Suzanne and Alex, are wonderful to work with, and the value of this venue is fantastic. It's a perfect location to give your guests a DC wedding. We really enjoyed having the list of approved caterers to choose from (and there are plenty of options) and same with the DJs.

The Top of the Town was a great place to have our 85-guest wedding events -- ceremony, reception and dinner/dance! All three could be set up and attended by easily moving from one space to another! The spectacular view of the Washington Monuments and Capitol was impressive to both out -of-town and local guests!

The venue and staff were absolutely amazing. Alex our venue coordinator was a life saver and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests are still talking about the views! The venue supplies all the tables and chairs and has a very helpful list of approved vendors, making wedding planning a breeze. Would recommend this venue!!

We wanted to have our wedding reception in a place nearby our church with a DC vibe, and Top of the Town was perfect! The room itself is beautiful/classy/elegant, and it was also a great size for our headcount (125). Vivian was extremely helpful & patient in answering all my questions. They do have a number of rules, but are also flexible where possible. I don't love the hallway leading into the room (it's a bit dated), though the room & terrace overlooking the city is stunning.

Our Day-Of-Coordinator Denise Savage was a dream to work with. She set up several Zoom calls that gave us an opportunity to interact with her before the wedding. Those calls were very reassuring that our day would be perfect. She knew the nuances of our wedding and assisted in its perfect execution. It was a pleasure to work with her. She was a pleasure! Highly recommend Denise and Top of the Town is a perfect venue!

This was an incredible venur. The price is high but the view is completely worth it.

But just few points that I believe are important for you to know for your wedding organization: they are very tight about the time you paid for, if you need extra time to bring stuff or decor you will need to pay and you will just have 3hrs before the guests can get in to do everything😅 (so take that in consideration)

We had our October 2021 wedding at Top of the Town and it was beautiful! The space and, of course, the view are gorgeous and the staff at Top of the Town were very easy to work with!

Top of the Town was the perfect venue for us. Working with Kate and Vivian to schedule tours was easy. Also, the were very responsive to any questions we had.
I did like how they had a pre-approved list of vendors to pick from. This made my research of finding a caters and DJ easy. In addition, they have worked the venue before so no surprises. Also, tables and chairs are included so we didn't need to rent which was great.

All pur guest were taken back by the views and how elegant the room looked.

We were given Top of the Town as a potential wedding venue by our wedding planner (Pollyanna Events). We live in DC and were planning on a more urban setting, but we chose Top of the Town based on its beautiful view of DC, easy location and parking for guests, the tour we received from Vivian, and the straightforward pricing. We liked that their list of approved vendors was vast. Vivian made us feel comfortable, we felt that we wouldn’t have to make so many decisions. Other venues were more of a blank canvas and we just didn’t have the time, energy, money to spend on bringing in and designing a look. The contracting process was relatively easy, and staff was responsive. We used a wedding planner and it got a little confusing as to who was in charge, but we let our planner handle all of that and it’s not a problem specific to Top of the Town. Our guests loved the views and everything went according to plan. They flipped the room quickly. Traffic seemed to move well. We were able to drop off decorations the day prior. Our florist (Rick’s Flowers) gave us a great tip; when it comes to votives on the dining tables, more is more. We used 9-12 on each table, and with the DJ’s uplighting (Norman Voss), the room was so much prettier than I expected. We highly recommend Top of the Town.

Our guests absolutely loved the Top of the Town for our wedding ceremony and reception. The team there were flawless in terms of how smoothly they managed the event. My husband and I were super impressed with how professional and efficient they were. The team effortlessly "flipped" the room we held the ceremony in and quickly turned it into part of the dining area for our reception. Of course the views are amazing, but we were also blown away by how experienced the staff were. This was the first and only venue my husband and I toured, and it was the perfect venue for our wedding.

Although we’re not getting married until June, the folks at TOTT have already been so accommodating. Letting us come take measurements and photos at our leisure, responsive to all questions and concerns, etc. you can’t beat the views of DC either!

Where can I begin? I could not have envisioned a better location for our engagement ceremony to take place. From working with incredible staff members ( Kate, Vivian, Laura) to witnessing the sunset and full moon amongst the beautiful DC skyline. The view from this venue is truly priceless. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Top of the Town was a beautiful venue for our wedding! Lovely views, the perfect size to have our ceremony and reception for 115 guests! Discounted rates for offseason and they allow you to provide your own alcohol.

I absolutely loved having my wedding at Top of the Town! It rained on my wedding day but my guests still utilized the awesome outdoor terrace and nothing beats the panoramic view of Washington, D.C. I found that my wedding contacts at the venue were easy to get in touch with and very helpful when it came to planning my wedding. Not only that, but there are so many aspects of the venue that are beautiful starting with the scenic elevator ride up to the gorgeous hallways leading to the reception room. Although the venue does come with restrictions as far as vendors, I found that this actually helped with my wedding planning process as I had never planned a wedding or an event like this before so I came from zero experience. I found great vendors through their list as a result and ones I will recommend to my friends for future events. All in all, it was wonderful to have my wedding here! I highly recommend it!

The venue was beautiful and the DC skyline views were breathtaking. Kate and her team were wonderful. Accommodating and responsive. They have many years of experience and know what they are doing. On the day of, TOTT's Allison made sure we were comfortable, had a chance to eat, and gave us the opportunity to take great pictures w/ the DC lights in the background. We highly recommend!

We held our daughters wedding at ToT in October 2017. It is "the place" for a DC area wedding. You get 5 hours of the same view of the DC monuments that you see for 5 seconds when taking of and landing at National. Airport. Guests--both local and out-of-town--were in awe of the spectacular views. Weddings are long, so it provides a wondrous diversion for guests. We had both sunny afternoon and evening lit-up views. Spectacular. We found TOT staff to be supportive (we lost a close family member a week before the wedding) and they stepped in to coordinate everything with the caterer, DJ, florist and photographer. TOT staff are top notch. Their recommended vendors are outstanding and it saved a lot of time in screening and selecting other vendors. Many guests said it was the best wedding they ever attended. Highly, highly recommend.

Top of the Town was the first venue we looked at for our wedding and after seeing the view, we didn't look any further. We wanted to have a wedding that really felt unique to DC and this did it. We did a sit down dinner for 138 guests. The dance floor isn't huge, but it actually was great because it always felt like a huge crowd was dancing, even if people were enjoying the outdoor terrace. I'm still hearing from people about what a great time they had. TOTT was very easy to work with, responsive and flexible.

Amazing venue, with the most stunning views of DC. The staff were incredibly easy to work with, total pros who thought of every possible detail and were great at communication and super helpful in planning. We worked closely with Kate Markham who arranged for a fantastic day-of coordinator who kept everything humming smoothly. A fantastic event thanks to this great venue and their staff!

This is by far, the most gorgeous venue that we have had experienced with. The view was breathtaking. Family and friends would not stop complimenting us on our decision to select Top of the Town, to host our Wedding Reception. We are anxiously waiting for the pictures to come back so that we can relive our moment here. Simply astonishing.

The Top of the Town is the premier location in the Washington area for any type of event. I recently held a memorial service there and as usual the event was flawless thanks to the incredible staff at the TOTT. The event Managers were there from start to finish to help me with decisions in the planning and everything was flawless thanks to them. I have held several other events there in the past few years and each time I have been amazed at the ease of planning with the staff. The view of the monuments, the city & river is by far the best you will find anywhere and having the outside deck area is an added bonus. This is the perfect location for any type of event.

We had our 2-day corporate annual retreat at Top of the Town in November, 2016. As others have noted, Top of the Town has an AMAZING view of the city. The best I've ever seen, actually. You look right out over the Iwo Jima memorial and the Potomac and can see the whole mall (Lincoln, Washington, and Capitol) in one perfect line. On a clear day you can see as far as FedEx field. Pretty unbelievable. One wall is entirely windows, and there's a great patio you can walk out onto to see the view unobstructed.

The venue itself is simple, but versatile. There are two smaller sections that can be blocked off as separate rooms with movable walls (we used one for catering and the other for breakout groups). They've got awesome giant TVs you can use instead of bothering with a projector, a great sound system you can plug into, nice lighting (though we were there during the day, so I'm not entirely sure what it's like after dark), and a ton of other gear you'd normally have to rent separately (tables, linens, pads for chairs, projectors, easels, mics, podiums, uplighting, etc.). It was really nice not to have to deal with a rental company - the venue and caterer could take care of everything we needed.

But what really set the place apart for us was the staff. We had some very specific requests for layout, setup, and catering that were all accommodated amazingly well by Laura and her crew. I don't think there is anything we requested that they said no to. When you're setting up an event like this, having a friendly, accommodating staff is worth its weight in gold. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Afterward, everybody who attended commented on what an amazing venue it was. We're already talking about using Top of the Town again for our retreat next year, and maybe for some other events in between! I highly recommend this place to anybody looking to do a retreat or corporate event in the future.

I brought a bus of about 30 association executives and sponsors to Top of the Town for a reception and dinner. I though they would lynch me on the way over, as they were wondering why we were exiting DC in traffic for a dinner. Well, they changed their tune on arrival at this spectacular venue. It has the absolutely best, fantastic view of DC ever, and with the inside room with its wall of windows and the outside deck, it provides just the right ambiance for a "wow" of an event. The staff was easy and professional to deal with, and I used a recommended caterer (Main Event, also 5++ stars) and musician (Michael Kolmstetter, 5 stars), and it couldn't have been easier or better. I had to take a real chance, working long distance, with no opportunity to see the venue in person or meet with the players, but everything went perfectly. What a great night! Even the locals were unaware of the venue, and suitably impressed.

I did a memorial reception for my parents, who had just been buried at Arlington National Cemetery, with full military honors. There were some heavy weights in attendance at his funeral and the reception. I was complimented by all for the event, the location, the amenities, the views, and I can only compliment Laura Irwin and her staff for helping me plan a perfect reception. Laura helped me with a list of caterers and transportation services that proved invaluable. I mean perfect, not one single thing went wrong.

The Top of the Town is my favorite event venue in Washington, DC. Every year, as the elevator climbs to the top level, my eyes pop open at the full panoramic view of Washington, DC. Regardless of the weather, the view is breathtaking. The facility is always impeccably clean and elegant. The staff is great to work with and are helpful and very professional. I would definitely recommend the venue to a friend. It is a great place for a business event or any type of celebration.

Alpha Recon Association held a reunion in the Washington DC area. We had utilized the Top of the Town ("TOT") in 2005 and this reunion came back as we had such a positive experience then. We are a group of Viet Nam veterans that served together nearly 50 years ago. This TOT venue is SPECIAL and everyone of our over 50 attendees felt that as well. The TOT staff was very helpful in all our inquiries.They are the BEST!

My organization hosted our annual charity benefit at TOTT back in 2013. It was an ideal venue for the number of guests anticipated. The view from the venue is absolutely beautiful! As for event planning, I deeply appreciate their professionalism, open and timely communications, and the convenient all-inclusive services at a very reasonable cost. Everyone at TOTT were extremely helpful from the beginning to the end. It seemed effortless! It came as no surprise that we opted to host it at TOTT again this year and I am fully satisfied. This venue is absolutely amazing!!! Beautiful views!! And the staff is truly wonderful! They are so helpful and flexible and they have an all inclusive option where they will set you up with a dj and caterer and make your life so much easier! And they are flexible with the all inclusive option where you can pick the option but select your own caterer if you want. They are very responsive and work with you every step of the way! I had the most amazing reception there and it could not have gone more smoothly!

Thank you Top of the Town for making my daughter's wedding a night for everyone to remember. I can not say enough about how perfect the evening was. It was everything the bride and groom hoped for and the guests are still talking about it. Planning a wedding is difficult enough, but doing it from another state was overwhelming. However, you all made it easy and enjoyable. I actually missed not getting to talk with everyone once the wedding was over. The staff was so professional and did everything possible to make the day perfect! I had several unique requests and they made sure everything went off with no problems. The space was amazing and the views cannot be better anywhere. I have to give a special thank you to Joan! She kept me sane through this entire process and personally made sure every detail ( and I had a lot of details!) went off flawlessly. If you are planning a wedding in the DC area, it doesn't get any better than this place! The venue has views that create an ambiance that guests never forget. The staff were so pleasant to work with and genuinely want to help you create your perfect wedding. We just got our wedding video back and watching it made us realize again that we chose the perfect venue. If we could, we would do it all over again, so thank you Top of the Town!

Our ski club celebrated its 50th anniversary at Top of the Town. Planning was made easy by the professional staff who were always available to answer questions and/or give suggestions. The venue is lovely with spectacular views of the Washington Monument and other historical landmarks in the city. The terrace provided more views of the city and was usable even on a cool November evening.

This is a beautiful venue we used every year for a fundraiser for the past seven years. Our constituents love the roof top space overlooking the Mall. Spectacular! The staff are always very helpful and accommodating and everyone is excited to attend.

We had the complete package that included the amazing Main Event Caterers and the great Norman Voss as the DJ. When MANY guests who have each lived in the DC area for over 30 years, never been to the place and were utterly dazzled by the venue and its view, immediately a good time is had by all. Upon arrival, my wife and I got off the elevator and walked ten steps down the beautiful hallway with our bridal party where we found a regal waitress standing at attention holding two drinks (pre-ordered a month prior) for us. My wife had to use the ladies room so she went with her bridesmaids. The waitress handed me my drink, took the drink order for the groomsman and then went into the ladies room to take the drink orders of the bridesmaids... if that is not service, I don't know what is! Top of the Town is all about service... even getting on their hands and knees with scissors to cut (at our request) the bride's dress so she is able to more easily walk/dance. One of my brother's kids was found out in the hallway (out of his parents' view) grabbing personalized M&M's for consumption. One of the staff grabbed a small cup of M&M's, took the child back with the cup of M&M's to my brother and his wife. My brother and sister-in-law were utterly impressed. Same small child ended up falling asleep before the party ended... the staff created a bed and pillow out of extra clean table cloths on the floor for my nephew. These are only a FEW of the beaming examples of great service and absolutely couple/family focused service.

The venue itself is pretty, but their view is absolutely spectacular. We pretty much chose TOTT because of their view overlooking all of downtown DC. Some stuff to keep in mind if choosing this place (which I'm sure you'll hear all about if you requests information on the venue) is that they do limit your selection of catering and DJ to a pre-approved list, I believe for everything else you can pretty much choose whoever you want (which was nice). Their pre-approved list isn't stifling, but if for some reason you really had your heart set on something/someone else for those vendors, I believe there is an extra fee to pay to bring someone new in. Thanks to our awesome catering/DJ/officiant, our wedding was every we hoped for and more! The on site/day of managers from TOTT were also pretty amazing. Both Deb Prado and Diane Sundholm were very attentive, grabbed food/drinks for us (probably the only few bites of food I had all day!), helped everyone stick to the timeline and flow, and at the end physically helped us load all the stuff we had personally brought in (which was a lot and heavy!). If you want a beautiful venue with a spectacular view of downtown DC, this place was amazing!

Laura, Kate and their team at ToTT provided superb customer service and made the experience of planning our "retirement" event, planned in just 3 weeks, a very seamless process. Not only is ToTT the ultimate million dollar view, the space is pretty and the flexible interiors made this event a great venue and very memorable for the guests. The large room was easy to arrange with a buffet, audiovisual presentation and mixed set up of tables/chairs and loose seating. I would recommend ToTT!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Joan, Kate and Laura and Top of the Town!! After looking through several city vendors, with a great view being one of our highest requirements, we were thrilled to find Top of the Town and meet the staff. We were fortunate to get a great date. One of the many things that I appreciated the most was how they worked with us like they were our friends, with great suggestions and helpful ways to keep the costs down. It was not like that at all at Top of the Town. By the end of the event planning, we wanted them to attend as guests and not just because it was their job. :-) We had some unique elements to our wedding and they worked with us and accommodated us on everything. My guests are still talking about what a fabulous event it was. It was the best value in the DC area. We will have another event there, it was such a great experience.

When you think of world class customer service, Top of the Town will truly come to mind after you have the chance to work with their incredible team. The space itself is incredibly beautiful, and the views of the Capitol, Arlington Cemetery, and other parts of the region are unmatched. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Kate, Laura and Joan are thoughtful, attentive, exceedingly professional, responsive and very kind. Working with them on your event will make your experience that much better!

Top of the Town was the best venue my husband and I could've chosen for our August 7th wedding. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and there were even some fireworks that went off that night by the Washington Monument that made the night even more memorable! The staff was very professional, and an absolute delight to work with, they accommodated us so well, especially with the seating plan. The actual wedding itself was amazing, and our guests had a great time. The outside terrace is beautiful, and you get wonderful pictures with Washington DC in the background. I highly recommend this venue to future brides, they made our wedding day one we will never forget.

Top of the Town was the first venue we looked at and even though we toured a few others, we were never able to get past the wonderful views! The staff was extremely helpful through out the entire process and the night of our wedding. Most of our guests were from out of town and we loved that we were able to give them such a great view of a city we love so much.

From the moment we stepped into Top of the Town my fiance' and I knew it would be our wedding venue. The "wow factor" provided by the view is amazing and we had many out of town guests who could not stop talking about it. Our wedding was in May so with great weather and we utilized the terrace for cocktail hour and throughout the night. I highly recommend using the inclusive package of the DJ and food. We had great reviews and everything was taken care of. My wedding day was actually stress free as everything was taken care of. Joan, was great to work with when picking out linens/ table arrangements and all of the details I would not have thought of. I was able to show family the venue ahead of time as well and the view never got old. Perfect staff, perfect location, perfect view!

We have used Top of the Town twice now for our corporate events and plan to host more at the venue! The staff is so helpful and the view is unbeatable.

I absolutely loved working at Top of the Town for my client's wedding! Their staff were professional, helpful, nice, and a delight to work with. The views from Top of the Town are simply the best, you can see so many major D.C. landmarks from the moment you walk in and the views from the ballroom and deck are breath taking. The ballroom is laid out in a way so you have the best views and the chandeliers provide a great sparkle. Also there is plenty of parking and it is easy to locate, which is so rare for venues in the city. I highly recommend Top of the Town to all my clients!

Top of the Town was a beautiful venue with a spectacular view of the Potamac River and Washington Mall. The room was spacious with an outdoor terrace. Our family couldn't have wished for a better space or for better customer service.

WOW! This place is awesome, beautiful view! The only "bad" thing about this place is that it only has 1 entrance. It's 12 floors up over condos. So during the reception you're not allowed to jump or have line dancing. They will charge/fine you if you play songs that are on there "do not play list".

This place fills up as for making reserving, we were lucky to reserve a spot on Sunday. Everything went smoothly.

Our event was a formal dinner banquet for the 30-year reunion of Marine Officers who had attended basic training together in 1984. The dinner itself was catered by Main Event Caterers (one of Top of the Town's more highly recommended caterers). The TOTT facility was the perfect venue for our group, particularly with the view of the Iwo Jima War Memorial. We couldn't have asked for a better location, and the support from the TOTT staff was outstanding. I live in Southern Maryland and was able to do 99% of my coordinating via e-mail and phone.

We LOVE Top of the Town! We held our rehearsal dinner there on July 4, 2014 and it was just about the most amazing venue we could have picked for the fireworks. The staff is fabulous, even bouncing party crashers for us. The view is spectacular, and it gave me shivers every time I went up there. We knew of the location because we had my sister's rehearsal dinner there 8 years earlier, and it was complete perfection. I hope I'm lucky enough to attend another event there in my life time, because it is breathtaking. Thank you TOTT!

TOTT was extremely flexible in what we needed for our event. Though listed as a holiday event it was actually a political campaign event tied directly to the 4th of July weekend. Last minute changes were handled with ease and no issues. The staff was very supportive and always available to meet our needs and requirements. The venue itself provided the perfect setting for our event given the vista down The Mall and added greatly to our overall message.

The best view in Washington! Joan and Kate provided all inclusive service, and coordinated the music, catering and all of the small details, and did it in a friendly, professional manner. Their suggestions for catering, music and flowers were perfect. Alex and Ruth worked ceaselessly to make every detail perfect during the setup, ceremony and reception. Everyone loved the event, especially the bride and groom. We would not hesitate to do it exactly the same if we had it to do all over. We highly recommend this venue.

Excellent holiday party, aka, Christmas Party! Great Service and great flexibility. We give them a 10 out of 10, and have not had a Christmas party any better that the ToTT venue! We'll be BACK!

I have held an annual corporate fundraising event for the last 6 years at Top of the Town. The view is spectacular and working with the team at Top of the Town is always a pleasure. Their professionalism and support is fabulous. Can't wait for the next event!

Top of the Town was fabulous for our event! The guests were blown away by the views and the classic beauty of the ballroom. The patio overlooking the Potomac and DC skyline was just icing on the cake. We had 100 hair stylists attend a hair-show with a World Renowned stylist. Top of the Town was open-minded and willing to help us in any way to make our event as successful as possible. We will definitely be hosting an event at Top of the Town again!!!

Their individual attention to event and guest details and consistent top-notch service are second to none. I have used Top of the Town for a funeral reception and also for a fundraiser for ALS. They are amazing and each event has been successful without any problems. They are so professional that all I have to focus on is getting the people to attend (and they help with that as well). I would always highly recommend Top of the Town for any event function. Top of the Town is an amazing venue run by even more amazing people. No Worries Now is relatively new to the Washington, DC area and Top of the Town has welcomed us with open arms. They willingly donated their venue both times we held prom for teens in the area with chronic and life threatening illness. Additionally, Top of the Town helped us maneuver around any challenges that arose in the lead up to our event. The day of the event is no different. The team welcomes you with a smile and runs the event flawlessly. I cannot say thank you enough to Top of the Town. I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone who asks!

Excellent choice for our daughters' wedding reception! The décor had been updated just in time for our event, which made the occasion even more pleasing. The views are exceptional and this proved to be the perfect venue for our many out of town guests. Staff could not have been more helpful with details for our event.

Perfect for our November wedding. Half of our guests were from Boston and I knew everyone would be psyched about the view but even our DC guests were blown away - "where did we find this incredible place!" We had both our ceremony and reception there. To assuage some concerns for others (as I had this concern myself!) we had 123 guests and a 5-piece blues/rock/soul band and there was more than enough space. The day-of staff were fantastic - they totally kept everyone on schedule and made it so my husband and I didn't have to think at ALL about when the cake would be cut, when our first dance would occur, what if we left items behind, etc. This was the best decision we've made in the last 18 months. Definitely would do it all over again at TOTT.

There is no better view into Washington,DC than at Top of the Town. Parking is easy and I can't wait to go back.

We had our wedding reception at Top of the Town and it was terrific! Joan was great at answering all of our questions prior to the wedding and for helping make everything run perfectly the day of! We had so many wonderful complements about the location from both out of town people AND DC locals (that view is AMAZING)! Because of the view, we made the theme of our wedding 'Washington, DC at it's finest'. The staff is incredibly professional and accommodating.

The staff welcomed questions as we worked on planning out the final details of the wedding. They were always eager to help and find ways to make it easier for us. The day of they were responsive and easy to work with. The facilities are beautiful!

The place itself is very beautiful.. you can't beat the views of DC. I LOVED WORKING with Joan & Kate - they were very nice and they were very flexible working with my budget. It's a good deal by doing your wedding Friday night. Their customer service is superb. Allison the lady who was with me the day of my wedding was also AWESOME. We were running late getting there and she just said "Don't worry, it's your day - enjoy!" that said may feel so much better. All my guests were so happy with the place...they just wished we could've
stayed longer... they wanted to party :)

This venue is awesome! It's on the pricey side but your guests will absolutely love it! We had beautiful weather so we were able to really enjoy the view and the rooftop terrace. I had no issues working with the staff leading up to the wedding and they were so friendly and helpful during the wedding. They were very accommodating with us dropping off decorations and liquor (you can bring your own which is a huge plus!) and picking it up a couple days later. It took some of the stress out of the day of. All our guests raved about the location and the views. You won't be disappointed!

Top of the town is by far the best location to have a party of any kind in DC. Extremely experienced event managers at your disposal, the most beautiful view of DC by far, and a huge space flanked with glass windows with a giant balcony. I will be having my wedding here no question.

Once my fiancé and I visited here, there was no going back to another venue. The view was amazing - our wedding guests still talk about it today.

The team at Top of the Town was very professional and responsive. They definitely made sure that things ran very smoothly during the planning stage, the actual wedding day, and post wedding day. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone. The week before our wedding, a storm blew off a part of the elevator roof for the venue but we were able to use the condo elevator- thank you thank you!! Amazing management and team.

Top of the Town is a beautiful venue! Everyone at the wedding had nothing but good things to say and everyone commented on the view! Kate and Joan were amazing to work with from the beginning as I constantly changed dates or had questions here and there. It was a pleasure to work with everyone at Top of the Town. It was a gorgeous place to have a wedding and I couldn't have been happier.

Top of the Town was the perfect place to have our wedding. I could not have been happier with our choice. The staff their was amazing to work with. They are very kind, understanding and quick to respond. Allison our day -of coordinator was amazing. The compliments just came rolling in about the view, people said they have never been to a place like that before. Honestly, if you have your wedding here you will not be disappointed.

Top of the Town is an amazing venue. We had our reception there this past August and, with some help from perfect weather, the view was mesmerizing for our guests. We had about 135 guests and that is as high as I would say future grooms & brides should shoot for. It was packed but still very comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed (as well as the vendors) to make the evening go as smoothly as possible.

Unfortunately the larger main elevator was out of service due to a freak storm the month before, but they worked with our caterer (Main Event - also highly recommended) to ensure they had the extra time they needed to set up without any cost to us.

The balcony was a big draw that evening and having the bar set outside was an advantage for people who wanted to hang out there all night. Everything here is about the view, your head table will be against the windows, your guests will be on the balcony and holding conversations while looking out over DC. Our guests from out of town and even those who work in DC everyday were captivated by the sights.

You can make this event as casual or formal as you want, but just know that the view will class up your event tremendously without you having to do anything! We couldn't have found a better place for our reception and couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We actually found out a month ahead of the wedding date that my wife's cousin had signed on to get married at Top of the Town before she heard she was coming to our wedding there. It is a popular place so get in early, but once you do it is well worth every penny.

The view speaks for itself! Kate is AMAZING. She answered all of my emails (even my annoying questions about table arrangements). You can't find a better location with its views. I had 145 guests and I would say the max you should have if you want to dance is 150. We had plenty of room,but one moe table would have made it tough. Guests are still telling me how amazed they were by the views.

I booked this venue more than a year out from my event. From the very beginning dealing with Kate to reserve the venue it was a pleasure. Then dealing with Joan to be sure all the specifics of my event it was all a breeze. Both of these ladies were very patient with me, answered any question I had, responded to emails in a timely manner. You name it whatever I asked they helped me out. Joan even sent me sample floor plans for my caterer and walked me through the space on more than one occasion so I could see how I thought the tables would lay out best. Then the day of my event there were two ladies on site to help me with whatever I needed. I do not remember their names but they provided service that I was extremely satisfied with.

The best thing about this venue and my experience is that I have absolutely nothing negative to say. No tips for better service. Job well done ladies!

Top of the Town is a phenomenal venue with a breathtaking view of DC. The staff consistently went out of their way to ensure our wedding reception was exactly the sort of event we wanted for our guests. They work effectively in coordinating with vendors to ensure that all appropriate planning is done well in advance. We would highly recommend Top of the Town based on the gorgeous view and the consistently professional level of service from all of their staff.

Top of the Town was the perfect place for our wedding reception – it truly provides the best view in DC. The majority of our guests are from out of town and many had never been to DC before our wedding, so it was the perfect reception location. Top of the Town is a great value. We were able to scale back on the decorations because of that view and they have great relationships with great DJs and caterers in the DC area. Many of our guests commented on what a “classy reception” we held.

Couldn't have picked a better venue. I absolutely loved working with Kate and Joan. They WANT to see you happy. Our guests were blown away by the view. Kate did a wonderful job of calming my nerves before the ceremony and I can't thank her enough for that!

Top of the Town is a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and reception. We had a brunch wedding reception after our ceremony and it was wonderful! The location is great and easy to access. The staff was wonderful from the first visit to the last minute of our event. The weather was cloudy but we still had a great view of DC and didn't need any extra lighting for our daytime event. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone who is looking to have an event with a wonderful view. Thank you to all of the staff at TOTT for making our wedding day a great success!

As many of the other reviews have indicated, the most amazing part about this venue is the view over DC. It's just as special for out-of-town guests as people who have lived in/around DC for years. The evening of our event it was fairly cloudy but it cleared away as the lights came on over the city, which was beautiful. As a travel agent, I also thought it was appropriate to see the planes coming in and out of DCA. The outdoor patio/veranda is beautiful and our guests loved having some fresh air even though it got chilly. We had great experiences working with Kate, even making changes such as extending our event time to go an hour later. The entrance is a bit unusual with the one elevator, but we didn't have any problems (partially because our guests arrived at different times since they weren't coming from a ceremony -- we'd gotten married in Jamaica the week before). It's great that the venue has private parking right across the street and it's also only about a 10 minute walk from Rosslyn metro. Great hotel options nearby and it makes a great base area for guests who want to do sightseeing. The venue is very reasonably priced considering the quality of the space and everything that's already included. I have no complaints -- I wouldn't have asked for any more from Top of the Town. Highly recommend!

Top of the Town is an amazing venue for a reception.
Kate and her team were professional and patient with us (we were planning for our daughter and future son-in-law while they were in Iraq and then back in Georgia). We relayed questions and answers back and forth for about 10 months. They endured a few short-fused requests for us to re-visit the room to sort out some of our questions.
We had even arranged for some younger friends of the family to leave the wedding ceremony early to set up our "personalized" centerpieces on the tables. When they arrived to do their job, they were surprised that Kate and her team had already done it for them. After the reception, she was right there to help pack them for us so that we could take them home.
All of our guests felt that Top of the Town was absolutely the perfect spot in the DC area for a reception. They loved looking at the monuments in the daylight, into the dusk and through the evening.
We have already highly recommended Kate and the rest of the staff to our friends who have children marrying in the near future.

I love love loooooved this venue! This place made our night!!!! Even people from DC were asking us how we found this place. It was a real treat for those who came from Texas, France, Spain and Peru!!! They were in awe! My cousin said "I feel like we are at a party for "The real Housewives of DC". If you are able to splurge I would definitely book this place asap. We were the only wedding scheduled there for that day so I thought that made things run smoothly. Not sure how things would have gone if there was another wedding. Make sure you are aware of all the stipulations (must use their vendors and no jump dancing). The view is worth a million bucks. This is the best venue in the DC metro area hands down!

The staff at TOTT are amazing professionals. You fall in love with the view and the price is affordable in comparison to other wedding locations without the amazing DC skyline view. We had an evening wedding so we had day light, sun set and then the night time view of the monuments - it was absolutely perfect. We had some issues with our caterer during our event and without the TOTT team it would have been disastrous. Only down side is that there is no kitchen so highly recommend using a caterer who is familiar with the site. We hope to use it for our 50th wedding anniversary :)

Top of the Town has it all: a beautiful venue with an amazing view of Washington DC and exceptional staff. I worked with Joan exclusively leading up to the wedding and Allison on the day of the wedding. They both bend over backwards to make sure you get everything you want. I sent so many emails to them trying to get everything coordinated and they always came back with responsive emails with great ideas. They handled the quirks of our event with grace. I can definitely see why it's such a popular venue. I must mention how wonderful Allison is. She is easy going and amazing at her job. I would have been very nervous all day if I didn't have her with me keeping us on track and assuring me that everything was great. She pitched in with everything: setting up decorations, getting beverages, doing make-up. Everyone who was in contact with her had only wonderful things to say. Whatever she's being paid, it should be doubled. If you want an elegant venue with smart, well-trained staff, please choose Top of the Town.

A guest summed it up nicely: "I have never been to a classier wedding reception - ever." The Top of the Town dresses up any wedding reception. We even showed up two hours early to our reception in order to get some shots on the roof before the sun went down, surprising everyone (and not in a good way!) and the staff managed the rest of the catering and event staff flawlessly- looking after us and ensuring that we were comfortable. Thank you to the staff - we have received so many rave reviews!!!

Everybody we worked with at Top of the Town was amazing! They were so helful and made positive suggestions. It was a delight working with them for the reception. We loved it so much, my brother is using them for his wedding next year!

I had my wedding at Top of the Town this past May and let me just start by saying it was A-Mazing! The view is incredible and my family and friends could NOT stop raving about it!

The lists they provided for catering and music vendors were absolutely awesome. I found exactly the caterer who fit what I needed and I felt like it gave me a wide range of flexibility on food and costs. Also, it was absolutely imperative that I had an open bar and TOTT let me bring in ALL my alcohol (and my place cards/favors) the day before which was soo helpful.

There were a few rules about the dancing -- we weren't allowed to jump which I was a little worried about but it ended up not being a problem at all because I realized that A. I didn't want people "Cotton-Eyed-Joe"ing all over the place, B. "Jump Around" went out of style in the 90's, and C. I think "Congo Lines" are tacky :) Plus, once I asked out it, I realized they are located over condos and that it's really nice of them to be thinking about their neighbors enough to care whether their pictures are vibrating or not.

Everything turned out better than I had even imagined - Kate and Joan were super friendly and helpful and my event managers really went out of their way to make sure we had a great night - they even had the caterer bring up some apps and drinks to the TOTT office while we waited to be introduced!

I love love love this place and I ABSOLUTELY reccomend it! If nothing else, take a tour, you can't miss this view!

Top of the town has a beautiful view; the cost is well worth it; especially if you have out of town guests. They get a gorgeous view of the DC monuments and buildings without having to go anywhere. Joan Voss was very responsive to my emails and everything went smoothly the night of the wedding. Perfect location!

The first word that come to mind when we think of our wedding reception at Top of the Town was "wow"! We honestly cannot think of a better place to have a wedding reception than at Top of the Town. The view was spectacular and we constantly heard from our family and friends how amazed they were at the panoramic view of D.C. It was particularly enjoyable to see the look of amazment on the faces of those who aren't from the immediate area. However, Top of the Town was more than just a great view, the staff was just as amazing. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and flexibility made them a joy to work with. They took it upon themselves to make sure our wedding reception was just perfect. The guests at our wedding still talk about what a great venue it was and really just made our day that much more memorable. If your looking for a place to hold your event that will keep your guests raving, Top of the Town is it!

Top of the Town was perfect for our reception. The view is amazing and is the only decoration needed, but the chandeliers and fixtures add an elegant touch. We were able to negotiate a lower rate by booking a Sunday night and having fewer than 100 guests. Joan was always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls and they had no problem with us dropping off items for the caterer two days in advance of our reception. Highly recommended!

This was the most amazing view in DC. It was worth the 40 minute drive from Maryland to have our reception here.
