Established in 1930 as a Quaker meeting house, Friends Meeting of Washington is a wedding venue situated in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC. The vintage buildings have been refurbished to reflect modern needs while retaining their quintessential character and essence. Facilities and Capacity

To-be-weds can host countless aspects of their special journey at this splendid destination, from engagement parties and rehearsal dinners to the all-important wedding day. This versatile place boasts numerous locations for indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The Meeting Room can accommodate up to 300 guests for ceremonies, which can be followed by a cocktail hour in the scenic East Gardens or the upper level of the west gardens. Receptions in the Assembly Room hold approximately 96 guests for a seated dinner, and the adjacent. lower level of the west gardens allows up to 150 people to sit for dinner. For more intimate affairs of about 40 loved ones, the Quaker House Living Room provides the ideal backdrop. Get-ready rooms can be utilized by wedding parties for the duration of their event. Almost all spaces are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Street parking is available close by and complimentary WIFI is provided.
