Springfield Manor Winery, Distillery and Brewery is a winery wedding venue located in Thurmont, Maryland. Perfection!
The reception staff who served our guests were fantastic, and we are so grateful for the kitchen staff, bartenders, John, Mary, and of course Brian and Loree. From the very first tour, we completely fell in love with the venue. One thing we especially appreciated was planning for an outdoor wedding while knowing we could make a “game time” decision if the weather changed. Brian assured us they would have both locations ready, which took so much stress away because we didn’t have to decide hours before the ceremony whether to move inside or stay outdoors.
The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready, and we loved having an area where we could bring food in for the bridal party while everyone prepared for the day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and I cannot express how much we loved working with this incredible team.
We were also able to source our open bar through Gateway Liquors, which was another perfect piece that completed our special day.
We toured a lot of venues and this Springfield Manor is as must! You will fall in love!

Choosing to get married at Springfield Manor was the absolute best decision we could have made! The venue itself is gorgeous and extremely well maintained. The staff are all incredible and worked so hard behind the scenes to make the day run smoother than we ever could have imagined. Brian was extremely professional and coordinated everything so we were completely stress-free. We loved having the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and the reception space was stunning! All of our guests only had positive things to say about the venue and I would recommend it to ANYONE getting married soon!

Venue & Setting
Springfield Manor truly shines when it comes to scenery. The sweeping landscape gave us endless photo opportunities, and the outdoor ceremony space felt incredibly serene and romantic. The views of the Catoctin Mountains were especially stunning at sunset—absolutely magical and exactly what we had hoped for.
Staff & Coordination
The staff was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. From our earliest planning meetings to the final moments of the reception, the team made everything feel smooth and stress-free. They handled every detail quietly in the background so we could actually enjoy our day.
Reception Experience
The ballroom was beautifully set up, elegant without being overly formal. Our guests loved the blend of historic charm and modern touches. The food and service were exceptional—plates came out quickly, beautifully presented, and delicious. We received so many compliments afterward about both the venue and the overall experience.

Best day ever
Dream Venue!
The venue offers so much, from beautiful mountains, to open grass and lavender fields, and the amazing manor itself. It has sidewalks right up to the ceremony, which was a huge hit for our guests in wheelchairs (and heels)! It also has a gorgeous patio with a fountain and outdoor bar - perfect for cocktail hour! We also had three rooms for getting ready (two bridal suites and one groom’s lounge), and we had access to one of these rooms throughout the night! Even though the brewery/winery was open to the public since it was a Friday, we really could not tell at all! The ballroom is also gorgeous. The catering was amazing and their team also worked with us through the whole process. And BYOB was a huge plus!
So many guests told us it is the most beautiful wedding venue they have been to. I absolutely love Springfield Manor and keep hoping that another friend or family member uses it as a venue so that I can enjoy it as a guest!!!
