Barn & Farm Wedding Venues in Luray

You cannot go wrong with this venue. First of all, the venue itself is breathtaking. I’m not kidding when I say some of our photos look photoshopped, the backdrops from every angle are truly that gorgeous. I think it is impossible to get a bad photo at this venue. But the main reason that we loved this venue is the owners- Diane and her husband Tom. From the first time we visited, it felt like Diane was on our team. She truly went above and beyond to make our day special. From little things like making sure she had our timeline should something happen with our coordinator, to lending items, suggesting things based on past weddings, adding lights to the lawn so we could use our games at night, and even helping solve personal problems that arose. I warned every vendor that my mom would spend the whole night running around and trying to do everything that needed doing, but after our wedding she told me that she loved Diane and needed to leave her a review herself because she could truly sit down and relax. That’s how on top of everything Diane is. She truly paid attention to every single detail and took responsibility of so many things that went above and beyond. If you’re considering Stoneyman Valley Ranch, just do it! You will not regret it. *Didn’t attach photos since we saw a small gallery below from our wedding :)

We held my oldest daughter's baby shower at Big Oak, and my youngest daughter's wedding there as well. I cannot say enough good things about this place or Jennifer and Ian! They are absolute wonderful & amazing people to work with! The barn, the manor house, and the views are absolutely breathtaking! Both events turned out beautifully. I had so many compliments that I have definitely recommended the venue to prospective clients. I cannot thank Big Oak Manor and Ranch enough for making our events extra special!

I'm writing from the perspective of a bridesmaid – Corina and Linda are a dynamic team that really do put together a perfect package for any wedding. I’d suggest this venue for any bride/bridal party. Our time spent at Khimaira Farm was relaxing and so much fun. We could really focus on our bride -- they had everything else taken care of!

Shenandoah Woods was our dream wedding venue - and it delivered! The covered, open-air pavilion is the perfect reception venue, and it also makes for a rain contingency site for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site. The mountain and sunset views from the pavilion are amazing, and our guests raved about the beauty of the location. We also loved that our guests had the option to book cabins on the property and use the shuttle service to get to and from their accommodations on our wedding day. Jason was a very professional, communicative, and supportive throughout the planning process. We plan to visit his cabins again in the future to remember our amazing day!

The Grieves’ work and dedication to creating such a beautiful venue and atmosphere is incredible and evident! We even hired Christina Grieves as our day of wedding coordinator and it was amazing to get to know and work with her and her husband, Wes! They are so friendly, understanding, accommodating and supportive with their suggestions! They work so hard to bring your vision to life and even exceed the expectations! They take the stress off of you as a bride and believe in making it YOUR day not anyone else’s. Events here are top notch with the mountains in the back and a beautiful barn set up with a great team who’s got your back. They are punctual, great with communication and personable. They will get the job done and will take pride in doing so. Worth every penny even though reasonably priced compared to surrounding areas with the best service and quality friendly people! We loved working with Stover hall!
