Wedding Hair & Makeup in Reston

Jennifer (Jenny) Hall created the hairstyle for my wedding day. I wanted an up-do, something simple and soft. She pulled back my hair using my natural part and placed it into a bun of swirling hair - that is the best I can describe the hairstyle. It was gorgeous! My hair was done at 9a.m. in the morning, the ceremony was at 3p.m., and reception started at 7p.m. - the hairstyle held the WHOLE day! Even till 3a.m. Jenny is extremely talented and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to do your hair for your wedding day. She also did my mother's hair which looked magnificent. There were two other stylists that did my 2 sister-in-laws hair, my cousin, and my grandmother. I lost their cards :( But the stylists at Jouvence Aveda were friendly and talented.

Sondra did an awesome on my bridal party she was on time and very professional. My brides thought she was a little pricey but in the end it we all came out beautiful and the makeup lasted all night!

I've had a pleasure of working with Ali twice- the first time as a bridesmaid at a friends wedding and the second, as the bride (11/18). The first time, I was impressed with how beautiful she made every bridesmaid look and feel, and so I asked her to do my glam for my big day. Ali is always delightful and puts anyone at ease with her radiant personality. Her work is stunning- Makeup is flawless and stays put all day/night long. I got so many compliments on my updo and I think it was due to her attention to detail and knowledge of different hair types. She listens to each woman's vision, but trust her as she is very talented and experienced in what looks good in person and in pictures. Trust me, you won't go wrong with Ali by your side!

Meredith was amazing! She delt with me <which I'm very picky> Through it all! My trial was great, we figured out what worked & what didn't. On wedding day she did all Me, my bridesmaids & my mom and mother in law! Such amazing talent, she truly has a passion for makeup.

Nadine was wonderful for my shower. She arrived on time, was easy to communicate with, and was very professional. I received many compliments on my makeup and it lasted all day. I loved that she asked for inspiration photos and I felt like she listened and delivered. I would use her again in a heartbeat!

The course was very easy to understand and follow . Defiantly a great course for any bride or even a bridesmaid to take. You will be more confident in your makeup application for your special day. Taking the courses with Women In Gear has definitely launched my career in the right direction. I wouldn't be where I am without these amazing classes! Well worth the course fee you won't regret it!
