I've had a pleasure of working with Ali twice- the first time as a bridesmaid at a friends wedding and the second, as the bride (11/18). The first time, I was impressed with how beautiful she made every bridesmaid look and feel, and so I asked her to do my glam for my big day. Our wedding planner and I came across Ali's work in the Washingtonian and loved how natural her brides looked. I cannot express how fortunate I feel that Ali was available to be my hair and make up stylist on our wedding day. Ali was so positive, patient, and was effortlessly able to make my entire wedding party (including the Moms) feel and look their best. During the trial phase, Ali was so accessible and was happy to try different looks for this uncertain bride, so that the wedding day was stress-free. Ali is as sweet as can be! We met up before my wedding for a trial run and I ended up leaving her home feeling like I had just been hanging out with one of my best girlfriends. It was so wonderful seeing her again on the morning of my wedding and I knew I was in great hands!

I was enjoying every moment and next thing I knew, my flat fine hair had volume with a gorgeous braided chignon! All of my friends and family were so impressed! I love showing off my hair in my photos every chance I get!

Not only did Ali provide me with a beautifully calming experience, I felt nothing less than fantastic. She is a designer with so much talent and skill. Not only did she make me feel like a gorgeous bride, she also did the calligraphy of my place cards for all of my guests. She can truly do it all! Ali did the hair and makeup look for my wedding day even better than I had imagined it! Not only was she on time for all the bridesmaid appointments and my own, she was incredibly gracious and professional. She is so kind-hearted and bubbly that you immediately click with her as if she is one of the bridesmaids herself. She does such flawless, elegant and sturdy updos - everyone's style stayed perfectly secure through the entire wedding night of dancing! The makeup showed beautifully in all the photos that we will have forever. I highly recommend Ali and her quality of work!

I can't say enough what a pleasure it was to work w. Ali. I have incredibly thick hair that I am very particular about so I was nervous when it came time to select a hair stylist. I've never really had a good experience in the past. Upon meeting Ali for my trial, she put me right at ease and knew exactly what to do w. all my hair. I explained the look I was going for and she made it happen! I explained to her that I wasn't sure whether to put my hair up or down and she was so accommodating- she offered to meet me at my venue after the ceremony that she could style my hair differently for the reception. She really wants to make sure her brides look their best and knows how to deliver on that. Ali is WONDERFUL and I can't recommend her highly enough. Talent aside, she is so fun to talk to and has a way about her that puts you at ease. Hire Ali- she is the best!

Ali is the BEST. Randomly it is really hard to find someone who does both hair and makeup, let alone at an affordable price, and Ali checks all these blocks. She is so much fun, which is pretty important when you are very nervous right before your big moment! I really appreciated how much she listened - she made me feel like a glammed up and extra beautiful version of myself, not like I was in a costume or wearing tons and tons of stage makeup. If you are looking for someone to create a beautiful, natural look, Ali is your girl. I really cannot say enough how awesome she was!

Ali was so easy to work with and did I mention she's super talented! Everyone's hair looked fantastic!! The hair trial was fun and provided not only an opportunity to play with hair but also to get to know Ali. She also provided sage wedding day advice that came in handy. Highly recommend!!
