After deciding to have our wedding in Italy, how hard could it be to make these arrangements yourself from New Zealand?
After several phone calls / emails with our local embassy in Rome and numerous correspondence using a translator with the church authorities in Italy we quickly worked out what a mammoth task this was going to be.
Our time in Italy would only be short before the wedding date, so we were taking a huge risk dealing with everything from here in New Zealand. We therefore decided to engage a wedding translator to be safe.
When you google Italian wedding translators you receive an abundance of responses. Every single one I emailed sent me back a generic email which ultimately didn’t answer any of my questions. Out of all of those emails we received one from Daniela Castellarin from Italy Italian Weddings.
Daniela answered all of our questions immediately and explained how her services worked. She even did a very quick background check on the village of Italy where the wedding was to take place. Like I said, no generic email here – only personal and precise.
We immediately felt comfortable with Daniela and engaged her services immediately.
Daniela went the extra mile for us and made sure that both the civil and church processes of our wedding in Italy were done correctly. This was a huge relief to us, knowing that we had someone on the ground.
Daniela also went beyond the call of duty for us, made several phone calls and assisted us with some last minute requests.

I started to plan a wedding here in the states and it turned out to be a nightmare and not fun whatsoever then my husband I decided lets get married in the place we love most - ROME! . Daniela and her team were absolutely exceptional. The whole process was seamless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend to her to anyone who wants to get married in Italy or Europe for that matter.

Daniela was such a pleasure to work with. Not only was she attentive to our needs, she was always full of suggestions and solutions to the problems that we had. She managed to perfectly execute our wedding without the slightest hitch. Without her, we don't know what we would have done if we tried to arrange this by ourselves.
