QDC is everything we could have wanted from a wedding planner team and more! Their warm and gentle hearts made us feel comfortable and kept my husband and I reassured that everything was in good hands. They were very professional and flexible, especially with the time difference (we are from Vancouver, BC Canada). Our path to finding Claudio and Gabriele was not at all what I had originally envisioned. As a typical type A ICU nurse, I had my heart set on a cruise wedding with family and friends. We even tested our first cruise to be sure we could “stomach” the ship and booked the wedding while still on board. With just a handful of family and friends—five rooms total—it was small but exactly the size we wanted.

Unfortunately, the planning process with the cruise line quickly became stressful. The off-ship coordinator didn’t show up for our first meeting, response times were painfully slow (48 business hours meant more like 8 days if a holiday was not involved), and our choices kept being shifted around. Eventually, they even told us they couldn’t marry us officially because we “would not be in international waters.” I couldn’t shake the feeling that they weren’t invested in a wedding of our size.

That’s when I started searching for planners in Rome or along our other stops. A quick Google search led me to QDC Weddings. From our very first meeting with Claudio and Gabriele, I knew they were the right choice. Every question I asked was answered thoroughly, responses were prompt, and—most importantly—there was complete transparency throughout the process. For the first time, I didn’t feel the need to lean into my type A tendencies. I trusted them fully.

Of course, I fact-checked things at first, but time and again they proved to be absolutely spot-on with venues, vendors, and options. Our wedding day turned out more perfect than I could have ever imagined. I was relaxed, comfortable, and able to enjoy every moment with our loved ones because I knew the experts had everything in hand.

QDC wedding… What can I say other than, pure perfection. Claudio, the event planner, and his partner Gabriele, the florist take caring and service to a whole new level. We are a couple from the United States and had very specific requests but wanted to make sure that nothing got lost in translation and we found the perfect person since Claudio is a translator and interpreter so speaks English flawlessly.

We planned our wedding with them for over two years because we wanted a long engagement, to come out to Italy several times, and to not rush. We got married, finally, last weekend, and it was a fairytale. I am an event planner in the US and I could not have done this so well and perfectly without them. QDC helped us scout out the venue, found us the perfect private chef, helped us finagle pricing with all the vendors, and ran a tight ship the day of. My Type-A self loved all the checklists and perfectionism attitude. I was able to completely let go of control and trust them fully. With the small details on the weekend of, it got to the point where I would just say, “whatever you do will be perfect and I’m ok with whatever decision you make”... And that is a huge thing for me!

They worked with all of the vendors to make sure timing and expectations were set, they told us if prices were fair or not fair, they gave us the etiquette for tipping, and my God look at those flowers! All of the fine details they took such pride in, even to make sure on the day of, I was eating and hydrating!

I can’t recommend this company, these two fantastic people, more! I wish we had more things to plan together because they are the best. Literally, you will not find a better match in all of Italy. We walked away with not just a wedding planner and a florist, but true friends for life. Thank you QDC for everything. You made a magical castle fairytale wedding happen and within a reasonable budget (30k - would have been easily 80-100k in the US). I could go on, and on, and on about everything that they did, but no one wants to read that long of a review.

We interviewed 7 wedding planners and couldn't have been more happy with our choice! Everything was perfect from start to finish and I can't recommend them enough! Swift communications, legal side, decorations, planning, budgeting etc was all on point and steered us in the right direction when we were clueless. For us, a personal touch meant absolutely everything for an event like that and it builds the trust necessary to relax and think about what you actually want. Pick them and thank us later.

Don’t get married in Italy without QDC Wedding!! It's so difficult to convey just how amazing our experience was, and it couldn't have happened without the knowledge, professionalism, and care of QDC. We interviewed two dozen wedding planners and it was clear immediately why QDC was the right choice for our big day. Claudio and Gabriele were essential in making our wedding the best day of our lives, communicating regularly despite a 9 hour (!) time difference between Rome and Arizona. Our wedding felt simple and easy to organise. There was minimal stress in planning as they took care of everything for us. We discussed plans over video call and they generated clear action points guiding us through the process. They spent time getting to know us, gaining a full understanding of what kind of day we wanted and how it would suit us as a couple. They helped us with budgeting and were flexible throughout as changes were made.

During our in-person visits they were warm and welcoming, helping us to choose the perfect venue and giving us expert suggestions where we needed guidance. During our big day they were amazing at calming my pre-wedding jitters and were present and in control the whole time. We asked Claudio to officiate our ceremony which was extra special for us as they both had grown to be our good friends. Gabriele's floral arrangements were stunning and my bouquet made me feel very special. He used his skill to bring together a beautiful cohesive theme from all my colour and flower preferences.
