Our Perfect Day
From the beginning, she was warm, personable, incredibly resourceful, and always made us feel as though we were in capable hands. Planning a wedding for a couple all the way around the world, and who also didn’t speak much Italian at all, had to be difficult, but Giovanna consistently found solutions and used her knowledge, contacts, and resources to make the process easier for us, and to organize an amazing wedding day.
I’d like to point out that, when our first venue cancelled on us unexpectedly, Giovanna took the initiative and secured such a beautiful alternate venue that, in retrospect, is hard to imagine our ceremony being held anywhere else. I’m sure it was a stressful situation for her but she handled it brilliantly.
On the wedding day itself, we were able to simply enjoy ourselves because Giovanna was working tirelessly behind the scenes. From coordinating vendors and managing the setup to keeping everything moving according to schedule, she made sure all of the countless little details came together seamlessly. We know there was an enormous amount happening that we never even saw—which is probably the greatest compliment we can give a wedding planner. Everything just worked and worked well.
Beyond her professionalism, Giovanna is also just a genuinely lovely person. She was patient, approachable, reassuring, and an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire experience. She even gave us some small gifts, which was totally unexpected but very appreciated.
Giovanna was also very reasonably priced when comparing the market; she was half the price of other planners but I can’t imagine we would have gotten better service elsewhere.
Our wedding in Rome was everything we hoped it would be, and it wouldn’t have happened without Giovanna. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Rome.
