Every vendor we ended up choosing was top tier and it felt like we had the best of the best. On top of everything else, they are just great people - kind, calm, and so fun to work with. We started working with Alessandra and the EIW team about a year and a half before our wedding in Lake Como. We interviewed several planners before making our decision, and after meeting with the EIW team, it was honestly an easy choice. We immediately loved their creative, elevated design style. It felt beautiful and thoughtful without ever being over-the-top or tacky, and we could tell from the beginning that they truly understood the kind of wedding we wanted.

From the very start, Alessandra was such a pleasure to work with and added so much value to the entire process. She and the EIW team were incredibly organized, responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our wedding feel personal to us. They were on top of every single detail, from planning and vendor coordination to execution on the wedding weekend, and somehow made a process that can easily feel overwhelming feel completely seamless.

One of the things we appreciated most was how much they advocated for us throughout the entire process. With so many vendors, opinions, and decisions involved, it was incredibly valuable to have a team who would push back when they felt something wasn't right, make sure our best interests were always being considered, and help us navigate situations we wouldn't have known how to handle on our own. Their local expertise in Lake Como was invaluable, and they were able to help with everything from the big decisions to the most random and unexpected asks. No matter how strange the request, they always seemed to have a solution or know exactly who to call.

And beyond how talented and professional they are, they are genuinely wonderful people. Alessandra became such an important part of the process that by the end, she felt much more like a friend than a wedding planner. My husband was genuinely on the verge of tears at the end of our wedding night when we had to say goodbye to her, which probably says everything. We will truly miss talking to her every day!

If we could give one piece of advice to anyone planning a wedding, it would be to put a tremendous amount of thought into choosing your planner. They are arguably the most important vendor you will choose throughout the entire process because they are the people who will guide you through every other vendor, decision, and detail along the way. We feel incredibly lucky that we chose EIW.

Our wedding in Lake Como was everything we could have dreamed of and more, and so much of that is because of Alessandra and the entire EIW team. Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming and something you should never do alone. We brought on Exclusive Italy Weddings to plan our dream Italian wedding and they didn't disappoint. If you look at the pictures on their website and Pinterest for Italian weddings, you'll see a lot of similarities to our wedding photos below. We trusted that they'd deliver that experience and they did.

We worked with Lisa and few others on the team and they were always professional, easy to access and hard workers. We knew that they were always on our side and working to help curate an amazing experience. Weddings are not easy and they made it as easy as you could.

One thing to keep in mind for international weddings is pricing. VAT (tax) is not the same as the US and be careful what the exchange rate is as the Euro - Dollar rate changed drastically in our year which really hurt our budget. Also, a lot of these small towns require porters which are people who will set up or break down your event. Someone delivers the equipment and then you need to hire a local porter to get it in the venue, set up and take down. An additional cost we didn't expect.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and if you like their photos and previous weddings... they'll be able to replicate that for you.
