We started our wedding 2 years ago from Canada, and were only able to meet Sylvia once during that span in person (long distances). Throughout the long distances and planning time, Sylvia was available to help us when needed, helped book all our vendors and see to it that we had a flawless wedding, straight out of a fairytale. Even now, a month after our wedding, she is in communication and helping with some vendor followup and questions. Sylvia made time for us throughout the planning process when needed, dealing with time differences, making great vendor recommendations or supporting with background checks when needed and even has a legal background which gave us a sound mind when dealing with contracts! Besides her immense professionalism, what really would make me recommend Sylvia as a wedding planner to any couple, is her ability to connect with us on a personal level. A wedding is a deeply personal event and we didn't want to feel like we had a stranger present with us. She answered emails promptly, listened to my concerns, made any revisions I asked for, and she was extremely organized. Hiring Silvia was THE best decision we could have ever made. Where to even begin… we knew from the moment we first met Silvia she would be the one we wanted to work with. She was extremely buttoned up, professional, and kind. We’re type A people in the DC area, and we have which standards. Silvia far surpassed all expectations. She was an absolute angel and our family and friends all recognized this and commented on this as well.

For the many months we communicated and planned she was efficient and organized. We appreciated that we were able to accomplish most details over email, WhatsApp, etc and hop on a video chat for check ins. Huge help with the time zones.

We hosted 3 nights of events planned by Silvia: pizza party, pasta party, and wedding. Each was unique and absolutely stunning. She brought great ideas to the table like hiring the Italian folk trio and tambourines for our pizza party.

Two days before our wedding the grooms father had a medical trauma and missed all of the wedding events. Not only was Silvia helpful, and kind during this scary time she was pivotal. Her husband even drove the grooms family to the hospital one day and translated for them and helped answer a few questions that we could have never known not being familiar with Italian healthcare. We had not planned on hiring a videographer originally but due to the events decided we wanted to video it to share with the father. Silvia miraculously found a videographer in August the day before the wedding for us. True talent.

There is not enough room to sing her praises. Hire Silvia. It will be the best decision you make.

I was drawn to Sylvia because of her warm, friendly, and professional introduction. It was easy to interview a lot of overly bubbly wedding planners and although Sylvia was passionate, enthusiastic and eager to make our dreams come true she was also calm and sincere from the start. It is easy to get ecstatic over a wedding but trust me when it’s a month out from your big day in another country, you want someone who you can trust will deliver and remain calm!

I never once felt like she was trying to sell me or direct me into what most people do at weddings. In fact, she was a great listener and took time to learn what was important to us as a couple…even during times when we weren’t sure ourselves.

She is incredibly knowledgeable about the wedding industry and has a wide understanding of American and Italian weddings. She does her research and is resourceful to make sure you are getting the vendors of your choosing and finding the best prices for your budget. When hurdles do arrive, she is quick to find a resolution. During our long distance zoom calls there were many times we went over the allotted time and Sylvia rarely even commented on it. Instead she made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed and I always left the call feeling reassured.

Sylvia truly cares about all the details of your wedding day and will oversee that all vendors deliver their very best. She is excellent at what she does and when I say our wedding was better than we could have imagined it is an understatement. And we know working with Sylvia had a big role in making our Italian fairytale come true!

Recently attended a wedding that Silvia planned I truly can't sing her praises enough. Not only was she the calm in the presence of a literal hurricane on the wedding day, at each event she made sure that she found me ahead of each event to tell me which dishes were nut free and alerted the entire staff as well so I wouldn't accidentally eat something that I was allergic to. Would recommend to anyone!

Silvia is amazing. Our wedding was perfect, there is nothing I would change, and we had a mini tornado wind vortex take out the outdoor seating about 20 minutes before the wedding was about to start. When I tell you we had no stress, I mean we were laughing and joking inside because Silvia has everything always under control.

Silvia's attention to detail was incredible - we had things I didn't even think about and they were beautiful and exactly right. All of our guest said the wedding was one of the best they'd been to because it was so well paced and so without stress. Everything was organized and lovely and I can tell you my husband and I were definitely not the reasons for that.
