Deidre is worth every penny and then some. By the time my wedding was over I had several friends letting me know she is the only coordinator they would ever use. She took care of everything for me the day of. I never dreamed my wedding day would be as stress free as it was.Deidre is worth every penny and then some. I've heard a lot of horror stories from others about bad experiences with wedding planners, so as you can imagine I was leery at first. However, Deidre is absolutely the BEST! If could give more stars in the rating I would! She is very organized, knowledgeable, detail oriented, dependable and friendly. She is incredible at her job as an event planner.
Deidre made our wedding planning so much easier with her helpful suggestions and guidance. I know she was a big part of preventing a stressful meltdown the closer the wedding day got. She helped finalize all the last minute details, when I literally couldn't do any more, and kept in contact with all the other vendors (and us) to make sure everything was on task. Her help was what allowed us to have a smooth wedding ceremony and reception, and we are absolutely grateful to her! It was a perfect wedding. Thank you, Deidre. We worked with Deidre as our "day of" coordinator, and she was fantastic! I highly, highly recommend her. As "day of" coordinator, we booked the vendors, but she took over from there and worked with the vendors on all the details and logistics related to the actual wedding day. She had a run-through with the caterer a few weeks before the wedding to make sure they knew where to go and what to do at the reception venue. She recommended other vendors -- we found our photographer and our post-reception transportation through her, both of whom were also great! She had color-coded timelines for the day of the wedding -- both for the vendors and for everyone in the wedding party. Essentially neither my mother nor I had to worry about any logistics on the day of the wedding. Deidre took care of all of it. Everyone knew where to be and when to be there, the reception hall was set-up and decorated beautifully when we arrived, tables were reserved for family members, and Deidre had food waiting for my husband and me and made sure we had time to eat. She kept us on track as far as time went for photos, cake cutting, toasts, etc. and had food and cake packed up for us when we left. It was great! Deidre really freed me, my groom, and our families to just enjoy the day! Do yourself a favor and hire Deidre to help you coordinate and plan your wedding! There is so much that goes into wedding planning. Using DWE was one of the best decisions my husband I made. After a couple months of trying do it ourselves we were still overwhelmed by the amount of things that needed to be done before the big day. We worked with Deidre Brown only 3 months before walking down the aisle. She saved us countless hours of work.
As our day-of-coordinator, she not only took care of directing vendors & guests on the day of the ceremony and reception, but she also coordinated our rehearsal dinner and communicated with our vendors before the wedding. As we continued to plan the wedding, she also guided us with tips and referrals for vendors. And she did it all with patience and smile. She was easy to get in touch with and responds quickly.
DWE helped us to mold the wedding we wanted. Our wedding was fantastic. Everyone had a wonderful time. I’d recommend DWE to anyone getting married. I don't know where to begin! Deidre is a rock star, an absolute wonder woman! I will start by saying that my best friend who was married a few months before me, is an absolute perfectionist and planned her wedding for 2 years because she went to school for that, and when she came to my wedding she just gushed over Deidre. my friend went on and on about how lucky I was to find her and how her coordinators fell so short compared to Deidre. i think every bride deserves a Deidre. I could not have had the wedding I wanted without her. My wedding was more than I hoped for and dreamed of because of Deidre. Everyone involved in the wedding (bridesmaids, mothers, aunts,etc) not only noticed even among all the excitement, but was extremely impressed with everything Deidre was doing. Everyone kept asking me if planning a wedding was stressful and I kept telling them that it was a blast. Everyone was shocked at how calm I was planning my wedding, and its because I knew I was in great hands with Deidre. I never doubted for a moment that my wedding would be wonderful and romantic, I just didn't know it would be so spectacular. Deidre truly loves what she does and she is great at it. WOW!!! I cannot say enough good things about Deidre! That lady was easily the MVP of our wedding. She came highly recommended and did NOT disappoint. Deidre is incredibly organized and no detail goes unplanned or unnoticed. She provided a timeline for me that had all parts of our wedding scheduled down to the minute. She knows her stuff and is worth every penny. Deidre has the perfect personality for this too - she was very good at creating an amazing experience out of portions of the wedding planning process that would have ordinarily caused stress. She is fun and energetic, but can also take care of business and handle things when she needs to. LOVE HER! :)
***Also worth noting: during the wedding planning, I lived in Texas and my fiancé (along with his family and groomsmen) was living in Washington state. My husband and I talk all the time about how our wedding is the BEST on we've ever attended, and we owe it all to Deidre. She was extremely detailed, professional and reliable. The venue we chose had strict timelines to get in and out, and she perfectly coordinated every detail. It went so smoothly and perfectly, it felt like movie. She found great vendors for me and attended all the vendor meetings, providing guidance where needed but also making it feel like I made all the decisions. She was great at working with my busy schedule and the wedding day was perfect! Deidre and her assistants are awesome! Every guest I spoke with after said that everything was so well planned and executed.
