Ames Boston Hotel Reviews

We blocked off approx 20 rooms for our wedding, including the beautiful bridal suite for 2 nights. The Ames helped provide everything we could have needed to get ready--stools, mirror, steamer, and even emptied the mini fridge so we could put our own goodies in!
Nicole was my contact and she was great, answering any and all questions and gave a tour so we'd know exactly what room would be our bridal suite!

Nicole Siano at the Ames was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Everyone enjoyed their stay and my bridal suite was stunning. Nicole helped my mom arrange a brunch in the room for my bridal party and ensured that we had everything we needed. She also provided regular updates to me about who had booked rooms at the hotel so I could plan my welcome bags effectively. The entire staff was lovely and the outdoor patio/bar was wonderful for pre-rehearsal socializing with guests! It was the perfect "host hotel" for us since it is literally across the street from the State Room! I wish I could stay in that bridal suite every time I traveled. WOW what glamour and luxury.

We stayed at the Ames the night of our wedding and it was AMAZING. They were so helpful during the check in / check out process, and the location could not have been better. Guests commented on how friendly and helpful the staff was - one of them needed an emergency dress steaming and they were all over it! Best part is that their bar, Woodward, provided a great after party for our entire wedding. Their team rocked - thank you!

We made the Woodward our post wedding cocktail bar. There was no charge and we had 3 large top tables with great service delish food and potent cocktails. Would highly recommend

We had our ceremony here and it was beautiful!! I love this hotel, it so fits our personality and they were very accomdating though we were disappionted that all of our decoration were thrown away and there was a lot of confusion about getting welcome ags into the guests rooms.

Our wedding was at The State Room- from it's proximity to view- there could have been no other hotel more perfect. It's quirkiness allowed many unique photos and memorable moments. The bridal suite space worked nicely & were perfect for getting ready. They remain under construction creating many frustrations... but I am grateful we stuck it out and our bridal party called it home base.
