Boat Wedding Venues in Boston

We had so much fun on the Spirit of Boston for our wedding reception in September 2021. The boat was a beautiful, unique, and fun venue which was an amazing place to have a wedding in the heart of Boston! All our our guests absolutely loved the experience and it was a great way to view the beautiful Boston harbor and skyline for our guests that were visiting Boston for the first time! Aria was our coordinator and did a great job answering all of our questions and helping bring our wedding day to life without a hitch! We had the top shelf liquor package and also added the meat carving station, both of which were a huge hit for our guests. The boat, both inside and outside resulted in some amazing pictures and I especially loved all the pictures from the upstairs down onto the dance floor! An added bonus is that the Spirit of Boston was much more reasonably priced relative to a lot of the other hotels and venues in the central Boston and Boston harbor area. We would highly recommend booking the spirit of Boston for anyone looking for a wedding or party venue! It’s a great venue for those that love water/boats, want to have beautiful views of Boston, and want to provide a unique and fun experience! Our wedding guests are still raving about it months later!

Dayna and the staff at Charles Riverboat Company made our small wedding celebration simply amazing. We had a group of about 50 people aboard The Valiant and it was perfect in every way. Dayna was excellent from the beginning, listening to my vision for the day and executed it better than I could have imagined! She took care of all the details, made me a timeline, floor plan, and menu. Literally all we had to do was walk onto the boat...which was beautiful! We had the perfect evening - the food was delicious, bar staff was excellent, and we had stunning views of the harbor before we danced the night away. I highly recommend Charles Riverboat Company to anyone planning their next event!!

We used Essex River Cruises for a brunch cruise the morning after our wedding. The cruise was great (luckily the weather was too!). Everyone had a great time. Dylan was very easy to work with. We could bring on any food or caterer we wanted which was very nice. The price wasn't bad considering we were reserving a whole boat for 50+ people. It was a great way to wrap up our wedding!

For a unique wedding venue with the most perfect view of the Boston skyline, contact the MIT Sailing Pavilion!! How many people can say they went for a sunset sail on the Charles River on their wedding day? Not many!! Lots of regattas are held here, so book in advance, especially if you're an MIT alum!

We had an absolutely amazing time during our small wedding on the Wejack! (Captain Jeff even officiated, which was super cool!) Jeff and Barbara took great care to coordinate the food and drinks on board, and had great vendor suggestions for our planning. They let us come out and see the boat beforehand, and were super flexible with all our plans. The boat was a blast, and we and our guests all had such a great time. We truly could not have asked for a better experience.
