We had our wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in May 2025. I can honestly say it was the perfect day. The venue is so beautiful on its own, but the venue staff really make for a wonderful experience. Our wedding coordinator made sure our day went without a hitch from our very first planning meeting. We had our ceremony outside that overlooks the grounds. Our guests had plenty of space on the four season porch for cocktail hour. Our guests continue to rave about the food! I can honestly say I wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding day.

If I could give 1,000 stars I would. I don’t even know where to start because from day 1 Harrington Farm has been so incredible to work with. We started this journey meeting with Lauryn for a virtual tour and fell in love with the beauty and charm that Harrington had to offer. Every single step of the way, Lauryn was there- not only handling the typical contract/details/etc but always there to give advice/ideas or answer one of my million questions. The wedding day itself was PERFECT. I didn’t have to worry about one thing. They are so organized and have plenty of staff to keep things smooth. The food and drinks are incredible. The venue is breathtaking and unique. Outside- there are so many beautiful and different spots on the property, which is amazing for photos! The cocktail hour tent feels like you’re at home on a patio, in a good way. Inside- the reception room is gorgeous with the high ceilings and beams, and the farmhouse is so charming and beautiful to get ready in. Harrington Farm also has many decor items, saving brides to be so much time. I had five signs, table numbers, and black lantern centerpieces! There was more but those were the big ones. They included linens and chargers and all that as well. I just can’t say enough great things about Harrington Farm. Every single thing from start to finish was beyond amazing. All of the staff at the Red Lion were incredibly accommodating, from the front desk to our amazing coordinator, Samantha. They exceeded every expectation and truly made our wedding day a dream. We loved it so much that we stayed again a year later, and we’re so grateful we chose the Red Lion so we can continue coming back to celebrate our anniversaries in a place that means so much to us. - Laura & Cait McDonough

From the moment we stepped onto Peirce Farm for our first tour, we fell in love with the property! The mansion to get ready in is beautiful, historic, and roomy! We were roughly 6 months away from our wedding when we found out about the new owners, and we were nervous at first, but those concerns were quickly eased by the venue staff who explained and clarified any questions I had. The updated bridal suite was AMAZING!! There was so much room, it was clean and bright, and it was such a nice place to relax and get ready in the morning. The staff there is so attentive and responsive, and they were able to answer any questions I had, and they were able to make any accommodations I needed for my guests. Absolutely beautiful venue; we were so happy with our choice!!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Fern Hill! The team works so collaboratively with each other and with us. We loved the food, the ceremony space, and the tent with the lights is to die for.

It was an amazing time, staff couldn't be more helpful and patient. And the price was so incredibly low (especially on short notice). Everybody said it was the most amazing wedding. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone

Jennifer and the amazing Team at The Great Barn went above and beyond to make our celebration truly exceptional! Their communication, attention to detail, creativity, and seamless coordination were incredible! They work together like a family and go the extra mile providing for you as if you were their own! So grateful and highly recommend!

We chose The Barn because we immediately felt how welcoming and understanding the staff were. From the beginning, they genuinely wanted us to be happy and encouraged us to make the day our own — never questioning our choices and always supporting our vision. Our day-of coordinator, Kate, was absolutely amazing. She was on top of every detail and made sure the entire day ran seamlessly. Thanks to her and the rest of the wonderful team, everything was perfectly on time, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy the day. The food was incredible! We attended a tasting event in the spring for our fall wedding, and both times everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our guests’ food restrictions and allergies, which meant a lot to us. The venue itself was absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding. Having Kate as our coordinator made the experience even more special. Although it was a small celebration, she felt like a friend by our side, ensuring everything went smoothly. We couldn’t be more grateful to The Barn and their entire team for helping create such a beautiful, memorable day.

I'm not sure where to start. We got married 9/19/25 at Salem Cross inn. And it was just amazing! We chose Salem Cross for multiple reasons. One of the biggest, especially when it comes to a wedding, the cost and the food! No price gouging on particular days of the week or time of the year! Was very well priced, and the food! Omg!!! The food is ALL amazing!!! The hourderves were incredible! The entrees as well. We knew the food was going to be amazing as we attended a fire place feast (highly recommend those as well!!!). They are a restaurant, so the quality of food and the taste is extremely important to the venue as it is to you and your guest! Also we wanted a barn wedding. And Salem Cross is an actual, original barn. Not just a new barn someone built as a venue because it's trendy. They've been in business for years!! Actually during the fireplace feast we sat with a couple that had been married there at the barn 30yrs prior!! Nancy and Donna who run Salem Cross are incredible ladies!!! So helpful, quick responses, always accommodating to anything we needed or wanted to do! Everyone of our guests LOVED the venue, the food, the cake, everything!!! They also have a preferred vendor list that came in very handy. We used Kristin Woodis for our justice of the peace/ceremony coordinator and she was also fantastic to work with and very easy to work with!

We had a wonderful wedding at The Barn! The staff was helpful, professional, and kind. We received many compliments on the food and drinks, and the options were varied. They made it easy to book vendors with a list of recommended vendors that knew the space well. Danielle was helpful in coordinating the details of our wedding and helping us to meet our budgeting goals. The space is beautiful and the grounds are large. The bridal suite is spacious and modern, but there is no natural lighting. We would happily recommend the venue to others looking for a space to host their wedding!
