We cannot say enough amazing things about The Barn at Wight Farm — it was everything we dreamed of and more. Not only was it incredibly affordable, but the value we received far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we visited, we knew this was the one.

The staff at The Barn were absolutely phenomenal — warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They listened closely to our vision, offered helpful suggestions, and brought everything to life even better than we imagined. We felt completely taken care of throughout the entire planning process and especially on the big day.
Our guests could not stop raving about the venue. The barn itself was stunning — the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegant detail. The ceremony space felt intimate and magical, and the outdoor patio with fire pits was such a cozy, inviting space that our guests absolutely loved. It created the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and celebrating under the stars.

We also have to give a huge shoutout to the bartenders — they were incredible! Not only were the drinks delicious, but their friendly energy and top-notch service truly elevated the entire experience. So many of our guests complimented the bar staff and said it was some of the best service they’ve ever had at a wedding.

Everything from start to finish was flawless, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful, budget-friendly venue with an incredible team that truly cares, The Barn at Wight Farm is the place.

My husband and I just got married here and can’t say enough great things! We had a winter wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. Staff was helpful the whole way and the venue itself is very reasonably priced especially in the off season. Food and drinks were great!

We had a wonderful wedding at The Barn! The staff was helpful, professional, and kind. We received many compliments on the food and drinks, and the options were varied. They made it easy to book vendors with a list of recommended vendors that knew the space well. Danielle was helpful in coordinating the details of our wedding and helping us to meet our budgeting goals. The space is beautiful and the grounds are large. The bridal suite is spacious and modern, but there is no natural lighting. We would happily recommend the venue to others looking for a space to host their wedding!

The venue itself is stunning, rustic, charming, and exactly what we were looking for in the heart of New England. The Barn At Wight farm did a fabulous job at hosting our wedding. Anytime I needed someone, someone was always there to assist. They made the day flow so beautifully ❤️ I am so grateful to have had them as our venue!

We discovered this venue through Zola and fell in love with it immediately from the very first look online. Right away, we knew it felt like the perfect place for our wedding day! We scheduled a tour on January 29, 2023, and brought our parents along because we wanted to see if they liked it as much as we did. Seeing the venue in person, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Moira showed us every detail of the property, including the Barn and the Winthrop Room (the two reception spaces), the Alpheus Room (indoor ceremony space), the patio, and the beautiful lawn where we could take family, wedding party, and bride-and-groom photos. By the end of the tour, we knew this was the one, and we officially booked our wedding for October 26, 2024.
Throughout the planning process, the venue staff’s professionalism and experience stood out. Moira was able to answer any and all questions we had about any aspect of the wedding from the dimensions of the arbor in the Alpheus room to special meal accommodations for a guest. Also, we initially planned our ceremony for 5 PM but realized that with our late-October date, we wouldn’t have enough daylight for formal photos after the ceremony. We talked to Moira, and we were able to adjust the timeline, pushing the ceremony earlier so we could capture outdoor photos before sunset.
On the big day, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was a highlight, with our guests raving about all of the food, which included filet of beef, grilled salmon, vegetable lasagna, and chicken tenders for all the kids (or kids at heart). The venue also ensured that we had some food to eat during the photo session during cocktail hour to make sure that we were happy and not hangry while taking pictures! Because of the earlier ceremony time, we were able to utilize the gazebo on the property for some formal photos and a first look with Kayla and her dad before the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, we took the remaining photos out on the lawn with the stunning fall colors as a backdrop.
Overall, The Barn at Wight Farm supported us in every way and did everything necessary to give us the wedding of our dreams. We can’t recommend it more!

We got married at the Barn at Wight Farm on September 30th, 2023. It was the most incredible day and so much of that was how amazing this venue and the staff are. Danielle, the sales and event manager, was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so sweet, professional, and responsive throughout our entire planning process from seeing the venue for the very first time to following up with her after our big day. She was quick to make the changes we needed, answer even the oddest of questions from me, and was all around wonderful to work with. We had our reception in the Winthrop room and did the buffet option instead of a plated meal. It was PERFECT and the food was delicious (we had multiple people tell us after how amazing the food was and were surprised that it was in-house catering because it was that good). All of the staff were so sweet and helpful, from the bartenders, to the wait staff, to the bridal attendant. There's a bridal suite included starting a couple of hours before the ceremony time, and we had the option to rent it all day which we did. It worked out perfectly for us with our timeline, and the bridal suite was large and able to accommodate the 7 of us easily (plus the hair and makeup artists while they were there). A few things to know going in (Danielle is very transparent about these when booking as well) - first, they may have multiple events running at one time as they have two different reception spaces (The Barn and the Winthrop room), plus the ceremony room (Alpheus room) which they use for smaller events as well; second, you and your bridal party are responsible for packing up any decor at the end of the night. There were multiple events on the day of our wedding and it was mostly not a problem - we did have a small conflict as we did a first look and family/bridal party photos ahead of the ceremony and we were told we had to move a few times due to the other wedding (it wasn't previously mentioned by staff to our photographer) and there was a delay in getting some of our signage swapped out from the prior ceremony to ours, which was rectified immediately when it was pointed out to the staff and they were told our guests were arriving. For the decor, Danielle informed us in advance we would have to pack everything up at the end of the night, which we did, but the staff did an amazing job breaking everything down and gathering it for us so it didn't take long at all! We really can't thank Danielle and the rest of the staff enough for making our day so incredible!

The most amazing night of my life. The wedding atmosphere was great. There was not a single stress that day. The wedding attendant Paul was so great. We had drinks waiting always. The venue was so accommodating and great prices. I would do my wedding over everyday if I could

The staff at the barn were more than amazing. The bridal attendants are always there when you need them throughout the night. The staff are in constant communication with the photographer throughout the event to ensure everything goes smoothly. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. The staff who prepared the ceremony and moments leading up to were very put together and I was impressed with the friendliness and adaptability of the staff with my concerns and ideas changing as a bride throughout the night. Overall, very professional and friendly. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.
