We got married at the Barn at Wight Farm on September 30th, 2023. It was the most incredible day and so much of that was how amazing this venue and the staff are. Danielle, the sales and event manager, was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so sweet, professional, and responsive throughout our entire planning process from seeing the venue for the very first time to following up with her after our big day. She was quick to make the changes we needed, answer even the oddest of questions from me, and was all around wonderful to work with. We had our reception in the Winthrop room and did the buffet option instead of a plated meal. It was PERFECT and the food was delicious (we had multiple people tell us after how amazing the food was and were surprised that it was in-house catering because it was that good). All of the staff were so sweet and helpful, from the bartenders, to the wait staff, to the bridal attendant. There's a bridal suite included starting a couple of hours before the ceremony time, and we had the option to rent it all day which we did. It worked out perfectly for us with our timeline, and the bridal suite was large and able to accommodate the 7 of us easily (plus the hair and makeup artists while they were there). A few things to know going in (Danielle is very transparent about these when booking as well) - first, they may have multiple events running at one time as they have two different reception spaces (The Barn and the Winthrop room), plus the ceremony room (Alpheus room) which they use for smaller events as well; second, you and your bridal party are responsible for packing up any decor at the end of the night. There were multiple events on the day of our wedding and it was mostly not a problem - we did have a small conflict as we did a first look and family/bridal party photos ahead of the ceremony and we were told we had to move a few times due to the other wedding (it wasn't previously mentioned by staff to our photographer) and there was a delay in getting some of our signage swapped out from the prior ceremony to ours, which was rectified immediately when it was pointed out to the staff and they were told our guests were arriving. For the decor, Danielle informed us in advance we would have to pack everything up at the end of the night, which we did, but the staff did an amazing job breaking everything down and gathering it for us so it didn't take long at all! We really can't thank Danielle and the rest of the staff enough for making our day so incredible!

The most amazing night of my life. The wedding atmosphere was great. There was not a single stress that day. The wedding attendant Paul was so great. We had drinks waiting always. The venue was so accommodating and great prices. I would do my wedding over everyday if I could

What a great Day! The grounds are great, the food is delicious, the staff is kind and courteous! I can’t say enough about everyone! The bridal suite was super convenient and amazing even for photos! Highly recommended even when on a budget!

I cannot give a high enough rating on this venue, 100 stars!! EVERYONE from the barn is absolutely incredible. Especially my bridal attendant Katie, I absolutely adore her. As I pulled in the driveway she was headed out the door to offer assistance. She’s a ball of energy and encouragement. She ran (literally) from the bridal suite to where the guys were gathering to ensure that both of us had everything we needed. She kept us updated on the groom’s arrival and kept us on schedule prior to the ceremony. She was with us the entire night making sure we had our drinks and food and anything else that we needed while keeping her energy high. You can tell she loves being apart of the day and wants to make things as great as possible. Danielle at the barn is fantastic, highly organized and responsive. Our guests commented several times on how wonderful the staff and food was. My husband and I are blown away by these incredible people and we want to thank you for making our wedding so much more than we dreamed. We will continue to rave about this venue/staff!!

If you’re looking for a venue with beautiful ambiance (aka little decor needed), excellent service & delicious food look no further! I could go on forever about how wonderful the staff and venue are, just book it!

My husband and I recently got married on 5/27/2022 and we are SO happy we had our wedding at the Barn. We had our ceremony in the Alpheus Room and our reception in the Barn. Danielle, the sales manager, was a great individual to work with. She was very responsive and always kept us up to date/answering all my questions. She was extremely organized which is helpful with the hectic-ness of planning a wedding. Our wedding day was amazing and the venue is gorgeous. We immediately fell in love with the beautiful grounds and the pathways between the buildings; it gave it a very warm and intimate feel. Our guests loved the venue and how you could move between the ceremony room to the reception room with the outdoor patio and firepit. The food was top notch, people are still reaching out to us telling us what a great time they had, and the staff were very friendly. You won't be disappointed with having your event at the Barn at Wight Farm. So many special memories were created there.

I don't have enough good things to say about the Barn at Wight Farm. From the friendly staff, to the venue itself, everything was perfect! The food and drinks were amazing. It is very affordable for all they offer - the best deal we found when searching for a venue. The barn is beautiful inside and out, and the event planner answered every question I had along the way in a timely manner! Super helpful!! Loved, loved this venue.

On and before our rehearsal she coordinated with us, answered any emails or calls in a timely manner, and was so organized! All this is so important for a stress free experience and just makes them an incredible venue to work with.

We had our event in their Alpheus Wight room, which is so beautiful! The food was incredible. We opted for a plated dinner and it was such a hit! We were able to choose 3 entrees for our guests to choose from, along with salad, rolls, coffee and dessert. Amazing quality at an affordable price.

I highly reccomend The Barn on Wight Farm, you will not be disappointed! I promise you will have wedding, rehearsal, any other event, etc of your dreams.

The Barn was beautiful for our wedding. We had a micro wedding in the Alpheus Room and they transitioned from ceremony to reception quickly and smoothly. Meeting with Danielle was always a breeze.

I was supposed to have my wedding at the Barn at Wight Farm this fall. Then COVID-19 happened. After the announcement of Reopening Phase 3 left us reeling, we ultimately decided to cancel our event and get married privately. That said, we have some parting thoughts for anyone considering the Barn at Wight Farm:
1- The team is super responsive. They let us come by to take engagement photos (when there was not an event happening), worked with me to schedule time to pop in with family members so that they could see the venue, etc... Each time I had a request, Danielle would respond quickly with options so I could plan and make something work.
2 - The food is incredible. We chose the Beef Wellington and Chicken Parmesan during our tasting and both were delicious. I've been saying for months that if the food is as tasty on the day of the event as it was in our tasting, it will be the best "wedding food" I have ever had. You never get to try the food before you choose a venue, but you will not be disappointed with the food from Table 3. As they told me: they were a restaurant group before they were a wedding venue.
3 - In times like this, it's hard to know who you are contracting with or what to expect. The team at Table 3 has been transparent, flexible, and reasonable when COVID prevented us from having the wedding we had planned. They did right by us every step of the way and we plan to frequent their restaurants at every chance to make it up to them. We will likely mark the day we were supposed to get married by going to one of their restaurants and toasting to the celebration that might have been.
The Barn is beautiful, rustic, well-landscaped, has plenty of parking, and is easy to get to. We are heartbroken that we won't get to have the party we planned because we know that they would have exceeded every expectation.

We discovered this venue through Zola and fell in love with it immediately from the very first look online. Right away, we knew it felt like the perfect place for our wedding day! We scheduled a tour on January 29, 2023, and brought our parents along because we wanted to see if they liked it as much as we did. Seeing the venue in person, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Moira showed us every detail of the property, including the Barn and the Winthrop Room (the two reception spaces), the Alpheus Room (indoor ceremony space), the patio, and the beautiful lawn where we could take family, wedding party, and bride-and-groom photos. By the end of the tour, we knew this was the one, and we officially booked our wedding for October 26, 2024.
Throughout the planning process, the venue staff’s professionalism and experience stood out. Moira was able to answer any and all questions we had about any aspect of the wedding from the dimensions of the arbor in the Alpheus room to special meal accommodations for a guest. Also, we initially planned our ceremony for 5 PM but realized that with our late-October date, we wouldn’t have enough daylight for formal photos after the ceremony. We talked to Moira, and we were able to adjust the timeline, pushing the ceremony earlier so we could capture outdoor photos before sunset.
On the big day, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was a highlight, with our guests raving about all of the food, which included filet of beef, grilled salmon, vegetable lasagna, and chicken tenders for all the kids (or kids at heart). The venue also ensured that we had some food to eat during the photo session during cocktail hour to make sure that we were happy and not hangry while taking pictures! Because of the earlier ceremony time, we were able to utilize the gazebo on the property for some formal photos and a first look with Kayla and her dad before the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, we took the remaining photos out on the lawn with the stunning fall colors as a backdrop.
Overall, The Barn at Wight Farm supported us in every way and did everything necessary to give us the wedding of our dreams. We can’t recommend it more!

The staff at the barn were more than amazing. The bridal attendants are always there when you need them throughout the night. The staff are in constant communication with the photographer throughout the event to ensure everything goes smoothly. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. The staff who prepared the ceremony and moments leading up to were very put together and I was impressed with the friendliness and adaptability of the staff with my concerns and ideas changing as a bride throughout the night. Overall, very professional and friendly. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

We owe our beautiful wedding day to Danielle and the entire staff at The Barn at Wight Farm! From our very first meeting, Danielle was the perfect match for my now husband and I. Through the ups and downs of a pandemic world and wedding planning, Danielle was professional, organized, and most importantly, calm. Danielle moved mountains for us without question and truly helped us achieve the most magical wedding day imaginable. Our planning process was so much smoother because we had the team at The Barn by our side. On the day of our wedding, I felt so calm and at ease, with all thanks to the staff who had such impeccable attention to detail and service. The barn was the perfect venue for our beautiful wedding day and we will always have a special spot in our heart for The Barn at Wight Farm and its' staff!

The Barn at Wight Farm was our third wedding venue that we planned for and as the saying goes, "the third time's a charm!" We truly could not have selected a better venue to get married. After waiting over a decade for this special day, I wanted to make sure the wedding day was on point and let me just say, it well exceeded any expectation. Our wedding day turned out to be perfect and I cannot thank Danielle, Elizabeth and their whole team enough for their due diligence, attention to detail and dedication in bringing all of our dreams and visions to life. Every single moment of the wedding was amazing; including the food, the decor, the scenery, all of it. Thank you so much!

I don't even know where to begin. Danielle and the entire staff at The Barn at Wight Farm were absolutely incredible! My husband and I were supposed to get married at The Barn in September of 2020, but due to COVID, we had to postpone until June of 2021. Danielle was extremely supportive and helpful throughout this entire process. We constantly called Danielle to check on COVID restrictions and guest counts and she was always patient and informative. I do not think that we would have been able to pull off such an amazing day if it wasn't for this venue and the staff. Everyone expects to have a few hiccups when planning a wedding but no one plans to work through a worldwide pandemic. The Barn handled this situation with such ease and class that for that reason alone I would recommend them for any event! As for our actual wedding day, it was such a special day! The ceremony in the Alpheus room was absolutely stunning! Since our wedding, we have received an insane amount of compliments on the elegance and beauty of the venue, along with everyone complimenting the food. Specifically, our guests can't stop talking about the hors d'oeuvres and NY sirloin steak meal! I could rave about The Barn and Danielle for days but I will end this review by saying if you are planning any special event, book The Barn at Wight Farm!!!

No one will forget the COVID19 pandemic. For many, it is a time of stress and heartbreak, especially for couples planning a wedding. Luckily, Danielle, Alex, and the rest of the staff at the Barn at Wight Farm made our wedding planning easy, laid back, and stress-free during this fiasco. We booked the Barn at Wight Farm nearly a year prior to the COVID outbreak. Once the outbreak started, we were nervous about whether to keep our original wedding plans, change venues, or to postpone. We had heard horror stories from other couples about their venues not returning their money, being challenging about changing dates, etc. Not the Barn! Danielle was with us every step of the way. No matter which decision we made, The Barn staff had our back. Luckily everything turned out wonderful with the pandemic restrictions and our wedding could not have been better. It was a dream come true and we owe it all to the staff at The Barn. Want an accommodating, beautiful, rustic venue to host your wedding? THIS IS THE PLACE!

We couldn't be happier with choosing The Barn at Wight Farm for our wedding venue! Danielle was so incredibly easy to work with, even when we had to postpone our wedding twice! She always had a positive attitude and was always pleasant to talk to. The entire staff at the Barn was wonderful and helped to make our special day go smoothly. My Bridal shower was also held at the Barn and while my Mom worked with Danielle on that, the shower was just as beautiful with very attentive staff. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I were married here in September. We had to totally replan/organize our wedding due to COVID and the Barn at Wight Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. Danielle, the sales manager, was responsive, attentive and made the entire process SO easy. Our day had a few hiccups and Danielle and her team were incredible. They went above and beyond (including a trip to the market to buy flowers) to make sure the wedding looked beautiful. I truly cannot recommend using this venue enough. We booked the Barn at Wight Farm over a year in advance to secure our wedding date. It was the best choice we've ever made! Even with a few staffing changes along the way, Danielle the Sales Manager was so helpful and sweet throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding, Alex was so organized and Meghan was an awesome bridal assistant! The venue itself is so beautiful on its own and everyone absolutely raved about the food and service. We had the perfect wedding day! If you are looking for a reasonably-priced rustic venue that won't throw you any surprises - this is for you. They truly care about their couples and want to ensure they make your day wonderful - that is their #1 priority. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! It was perfect.

The barn staff was truly a pleasure! We were passed on to 3 different event managers due to personal reasons and career changes and the changes seemed flawless! The staff were detailed and efficient and very professional leading up to our day and the day of they were detail oriented and always a step ahead which allowed us to relax and enjoy!! Even when all was said and done they picked up and packed meticulously! Simply amazing!!!

I got married here last weekend, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful everything was. The staff were organized, communicated well, and very accommodating. They really think of everything, and they were so pleasant and genuine that we felt completely at ease from the time we looked at the venue a year ago, and throughout the year before our big night. Communication between the barn to other venues was clear and consistent. Everyone was on the same page. We didn't even know that we would have our own personal server throughout the night that would take care of anything we wanted or needed!
The environment of the barn, grounds, and ceremony space is elegant, well cared for, and intimate. I think the one thing I would suggest (if I were just knit-picking) would be that the lighting in the bridal suite isn't the best for photos. That being said the bridal suite was clean and relaxing. There are many places to take photos throughout the grounds, as well as a little garden right across the street.
We are still getting compliments about the food! Everything was delicious, served hot, and in a timely manner. The table and bar service was excellent. You can easily tell that the staff here is treated well, and that they are very happy to work there.
All in all if I had to do anything over I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks to everyone at the Barn for making us feel relaxed and well cared for!

Danielle was amazing to work with! She made herself readily available whenever my now husband and I had a question or concern. The barn itself is beautiful and if you are looking for a rustic atmosphere, this is the place for you. Our wedding was 110 people and that was a perfect size for the space, so weddings with a smaller size will fit beautifully without guests feeling too cramped. We also used the Alphaeus Wight Room for our ceremony space and it was a perfect backdrop with post and beam ceilings and wood floors. The food was amazing!! My guests are still talking about it! Can't say enough good things!!

We were married on 10/6/17 at The Barn at Wight Farm - I cannot begin to describe what a beautiful venue this place is. Marie Flavin made the planning process a breeze! She was easy to reach, answered emails fast and left no questions unanswered. Danielle was amazing the day of the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Your staff is hands down awesome. The food was delicious, my guest loved everything! The bridal suite is breathtaking. The well manicured grounds offer so many photo opportunities! We opted to have our ceremony in the newly acquired ceremony space - The Alpheus Wight Room - and I am SO glad we did. Even though fall in New England is beautiful, it is also unpredictable. Having the two locations made everything even that more special. I am sad that it has gone by so quickly since we did have a two year engagement, so lots of time for planning. But it was worth every second. <3 I cannot wait to have date nights at your restaurants in the near future!!

November 2015: I had my first consultation with Dakota Tunley, the Events Coordinator for T 2 Chefs & Catering. I will be having my wedding ceremony and reception at their facility, The Barn at Wight Farm, on October 6, 2017! Dakota is amazing. Very thorough with questions and answers, responds very quickly, and was a pleasure to meet with! I cannot wait to plan my wedding and will update my review!

We could not have asked for a better wedding experience than we received at The Barn at Wight Farms. People kept telling us, “Something will go wrong, and that’s okay,” but the staff at The Barn made sure that never happened. The location is great (hotels all around) and offers your guests the ability to easily take in all Sturbridge has to offer.

Beginning with the sales manager, Danielle, The Barn could not ask for a more perfect person as a point of contact for the bride and groom. Danielle was always quick to respond to us, answered all of our questions clearly, and made sure we knew exactly what to expect on our big day. She was so kind and easy to work with, and we cannot thank her enough for her help!

One other person we’d like to give a special shoutout to is our day of coordinator, Elizabeth. We met Elizabeth about 3 days before our wedding, and she took care of us like we were family. She kept my bride calm during a few stressful moments leading up to the ceremony and otherwise kept the night moving like a well oiled machine. I rarely saw her during the night, but when I did, it was always her making sure everything was going smoothly. So thank you Elizabeth for all of your hard work to make our night perfect.

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. We were in the Alpheus room, which is the newer of the two barns, but you honestly cannot go wrong in either. The ceremony space is beautiful as well - nice and intimate and a fairly short walk for any nervous brides/grooms out there. The acoustics of the spaces were also great. For the bridal party, the suite is gigantic and very comfortable - for the Alpheus room you do have to go outside to get there, but honestly the fresh air was nice.

Finally, a big thank you to the entire staff! We have not stopped receiving compliments about the food, and thanks to our bridal attendant, Bobby, we were able to enjoy some of the food ourselves (which Good Lord if you book this place make sure to have the arancini as an app - it’s amazing). We had the prime rib (amazing), chicken cordon bleu (delicious), and eggplant rollatini (I’d consider being a vegetarian for that dish alone).

TLDR: This place has it all. A great staff, beautiful venues, ease of access, and amazing food. The price point was very reasonable for all they offer, and we wouldn’t change a thing about our experience at The Barn.
