The Langham, Boston

We had our wedding at the Langham in December. It was the most magical day of our lives. We worked with Tina who I could not recommend enough. She was a complete professional, responsive and extremely detail oriented. She was kind and helpful with every single question and request. We also booked our afterparty in Grana, which was amazing (do it, it's worth it.) We did not leave the hotel all day and I could not have been happier with that choice. The food was incredible, both at the after party and at the reception.

We had our ceremony in the hallway upstairs which had not been done before but Tina worked with us to make my vision come to life. They had a great lighting crew that we used for the ceremony as well.

I am from Boston and work in the service industry in town. On my wedding day what I valued most about choosing a venue was the level of service and attention to details especially lighting.

I chose this venue after a wonderful visit my mother and I had (she also had spent her life in catering) knowing it would be top tier service. We had a small hiccup on the day of and it was take care of with grace afterwords.

The room block was perfect and the rooms themselves were absolutely beautiful. I could not recommend the Langham's entire staff enough. I wish we could do it all again. We are already talking about throwing another party in 10 years! Back to the Langham we will go. Thank you so much to everyone that helped make our day so special.

We held our wedding in September 2025 at the Langham and for anyone contemplating about where to host their wedding, choose The Langham.
There are multiple rooms that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception can be held and they are all beautiful and spacious. We toured many venues that were just too small because of it being built decades ago and Boston is well Boston. But, The Langham is a historic building that is pristine and gorgeous from the recent renovation.

The planning team is incredible, we got to work with Rosie, Tina, and Olivia and they are the true dream team. They let us know that they only take one event per night so there is no chance that they are divided in their attention. They set up a planning tool for us, emailed us at least every few weeks in the year we planned, actively scheduled calls to ask us questions, and really pulled off the vision for our wedding so seamlessly. During the wedding planning, we had many ups and downs but the venue never stressed us out once. They are kind, culturally respectful, and truly invested in the work they do. Overall, the team at the Langham went above and beyond to set up mirrors for us as the girls got ready, surprised us with embroidered robes and desserts, and made us feel like superstars for our weekend.

The food deserves its own review. We had any wedding guests who have been going to weddings for decades but they have said that the food was the best they had. The Michelin Keys that The Langham holds are no joke. The filet mignons were cooked to perfection, being offered two types of warm rolls were such a nice touch, and our many guests with dietary restrictions mentioned they had never been this accommodated for. As two foodies, we were truly so excited to feed our guests from the first bite we had at our tasting in June. Kudos to the chef!

Lastly, we had read reviews about weddings at The Langham and they exceeded expectations. Our vendors mentioned that they had such smooth experiences, our guests loved the rooms they stayed in, and the location is perfect for any out-of-towners.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of The Langham for our wedding reception.

The hotel was luxurious, in an incredibly convenient location, and large enough to accommodate every guest who was looking for a room.

I could go on about the gorgeous decor, elegant ballrooms, historic spaces, accommodating rooms, and the quality of the food but above all of that was the attentiveness of and service provided by their staff.

In the months long planning process the staff was a dream to work with as we prepared for this once in a lifetime event. Even now in the days and weeks after the wedding we are still hearing from guests about special touches that were provided above and beyond any request we could have dreamt up (special thanks to Emma O.!).

We loved our experience from beginning to end and only regret not being able to enjoy it all again!

The Langham Boston was the BEST venue to get married at. I thought their pricing was better than comparable venues and you got MORE included for your money than what these other ballroom venues had to offer. I did not work with a wedding planner, and honestly with this Langham team, I didn't feel that I needed one. Their venue staff are BEYOND INCREDIBLE. Attentive, they remember every little detail, incredibly responsive, and highly professional (shoutout to the team I worked with: Emma and Tina!!!). The food is out of this world. People have low-expectations for wedding food, but I will say our guests haven't stopped talking about how good our food was (and the drinks - make sure to add the espresso martinis to your drink menu), how excellent the service was at our wedding, and overall how stunning the venue is. The space is decorated for luxury and has the service quality that you expect from a boutique luxury hotel - the bride/groom even have their own dedicated butler for the evening to assist with any whim, in addition to our venue coordinator who is there all night. It's also quite nice that the Langham is right across the street from Post Office Square, so you get the option for outdoor pictures and the peace of mind of an indoor ceremony in one of the stunning ballrooms. If you're considering a ballroom wedding in the Boston area, don't hesitate to book the Langham!!!! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't even waste time looking at other venues. The Langham is beats all the others in my book.

I could not have dreamed of a better venue for our wedding than the Langham Hotel. Fabrina Guzman is so kind, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. She is amazing at what she does and helped us plan to the very last detail. She constantly made herself available, checked in on planning progress, and ensured all our questions were answered. In the weeks leading up to our wedding date, she coordinated well with my other vendors and really help to alleviate stress by taking a lot off my plate. There was a chance of rain on our wedding day and the night before, she even organized getting us an umbrella that would look nice in photos and had it ready for us in our room. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness is unmatched! The service at our reception was truly 5 star quality. My husband and I were so impressed with the food and beverage service that we are still talking about it weeks later! Many of our guests shared this with us as well. To top it off, the room where we stayed was beautiful and the staff even left a few surprises in our room which really made us feel special. We are so thrilled that we chose the Langham Hotel for our wedding and we can’t wait for many more stays with this exceptional group!

Samantha Rivera and the Langham Hotel was an exceptional choice in planning our wedding! Samantha was conscientious, attentive, fun and a pleasure to work with. Our guests were so happy with the hotel, the venue, and the night was truly magical. I can't think of a single thing that didn't go according to plan, and I attribute that to Samantha's calm demeanor and attention to detail. My husband and I had numerous personalizations for our wedding, and Samantha accommodated each of them. We enjoyed all aspects of planning -- from the delicious tasting (just as delicious the night of!), to planning details of the ceremony in Cafe Fleury, the cocktail hour in Wyeth, and the reception. Samantha coordinated independently with all of our vendors, who similarly loved working with her. My husband and I are truly grateful to the Langham and Samantha for our wonderful wedding celebration. I would recommend this venue highly. We looked across Boston for a wedding venue (as being in the city was important to us) -- we absolutely loved the rooms available to us (more modern Cafe Fleury with gorgeous skylight, and the traditional and gorgeous Wyeth room for the cocktail hour).

After looking at over a dozen options for wedding venues in the Boston area, we finally decided on the Langham Hotel as our location, and we could not be happier with the decision! The value was by far the best of all the places we looked at (we checked out both hotels and "alternative" venue options). We originally signed our contract with Nicola, but she ended up leaving the hotel and we were transitioned to Kara. The change was easy and Kara already had all the information we had discussed with Nicola. She was able to offer us a lot of direction so that everything ran the way we wanted it to on the day of. She was away on our wedding date, but our day-of coordinator, Abigail, was constantly communicating with us throughout the planning and made sure things went smoothly. The space was fantastic, the food was delicious, and people are still raving about the whole event more than 6 months later!

We had such a great time at the Langham. My wedding reception couldn't have been more perfect! Kara was phenomenal to work with and made everything so easy! We wish we could get married there every weekend! Our guests are still talking about how fabulous our reception was. The Langham is the perfect spot for a wedding reception! My husband and I were recently married and the reception was held at the Langham in Boston. We decided on the Langham after researching many locations in the City of Boston, and it proved to be a terrific choice as it was truly a memorable experience!

From the time we arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon until we left on Sunday, everything ran flawlessly. The rooms were incredible, service outstanding, and the wedding itself (which I will address later) was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone with whom we interacted was a true professional and tried to do everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were extremely clean and the amenities (turn down service, etc) were truly first class.

Now for the wedding. When so much time and effort goes into planning such an event, you can only hope that when the day comes everything goes according to plan. The wedding ran as well as we could have ever hoped! It started with the cocktail hour where the atmosphere was perfect and service was, again, exceptional. We moved into the main dining area where the room was beautifully arranged. The timing of everything was like clockwork – everything moved along very smoothly and nobody ever felt rushed at any time. The food was perfectly prepared and served; and it was delicious.

The entire staff was so helpful and made the day better than I could have ever dreamed of. My husband and I would highly recommend holding your wedding reception at The Langham, Boston!
