We had a great experience hosting an intimate wedding ceremony and reception at the Groton Inn over the weekend. The wedding coordinator Eleanor, was a pleasure to work with and gave great suggestions when my husband and I weren't sure how to proceed on certain decisions. The Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays since we had our wedding in December, and the staff handled all the decorations, arrivals, and drop-offs from other vendors professionally. The food was fantastic; it was easily the best plated dinner I've ever had at a wedding, and the chef was able to customize menu items to our specifications to accommodate all of our guests' food restrictions. The cake that was included in the wedding contract (from a nearby bakery Dolce Amar) was also the best wedding cake I had tasted, and handled smoothly from delivery to our cake cutting ceremony to the staff slicing and serving the cake.
