Chocksett Inn is an elegant wedding venue that is located in Sterling, Massachusetts.This romantic retreat is known locally for its superb accommodations and outstanding dining experiences, features that would be sure to impress your loved ones and guests.
Facilities and Capacity
Chocksett Inn can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests comfortably. There are two main event spaces that couples may use throughout their wedding day and customize to their needs. The Laurelwood Ballroom is an exquisite event space that features breathtaking chandeliers, and a private bar. Outdoors, there is an enchanting private garden that features a gazebo and perfect romantic space for a ceremony.

The Best Day Of Our Lives
Where do I begin? The Chocksett was our second or third venue me and my wife toured, and we were impressed from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. We met with Tianna, who gave us a tour; from each get ready room, to the bridal suite, the ballroom, the outdoor ceremony space, and the restaurant downstairs. We fell in love with everything about it. When we sat down with Tianna after the tour, we were blown away by everything that was included and were pleasantly surprised by the cost (The previous venues we toured were significantly out of our budget). Tianna takes the time and truly cares and asks every little detail, details that we didn't even think of. From the moment we signed our contract with the Chocksett, Tianna made every single step 100% stress free for us - and if you're planning a wedding, you know how stressful the planning is! She handled everything. Every meeting with her was so easy, so stress free, fun, and she is such a genuine person. Fast forward to wedding day and I don't think we ever saw her stop moving. She wanted to make sure everything went perfect and smooth for us and that we didn't have to worry about a single thing. It ended up raining during our ceremony, and without any hesitation, let us know she was already working on moving everything to the indoor ceremony space and not to worry. She set up all of our decorations we provided, set up every place setting exactly how we wanted, the welcome sign and seating chart, the list goes on. I now see that when every bride said that the day flies by, that's an understatement. The entire day flew by from when we got there to get ready, to the after party. The day was everything we dreamed it would have been and more. Thank you to everybody at the Chocksett, especially Tianna. If you're looking for a venue, I promise, you don't need to look any further. Book at the Chocksett and work with Tianna. I promise you'll be just as impressed as we were. I wish we could go back and do it all over again. We cannot possibly thank you enough.

Tianna and the entire team at Chocksett were absolutely amazing! From day one, Tianna was a tremendous help throughout our year and a half of planning. She was always responsive, organized, communicative, and professional. Whenever I was worried, she wasn’t - she always had an answer, a solution, or a way to make everything feel manageable.
Tianna patiently answered my million questions (and my mom’s!), helped us lay everything out, and was incredibly supportive, accommodating, and respectful throughout the entire planning process. We truly felt taken care of every step of the way.
We held our rehearsal, getting ready, ceremony, reception, and after-party all at Chocksett, and everything came together beautifully. On our wedding day, everything seemed to run so smoothly. Tianna, Katie, and the rest of the Chocksett staff went above and beyond. They truly did it all, and everything looked absolutely beautiful! Everett at the front desk was also incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating!
I cannot say enough about how happy we are that we found The Chocksett Inn and chose to have our wedding there. From the planning process to the wedding day itself, we felt supported, cared for, and in such good hands. Incredible Wedding Venue
We had a fabulous wedding weekend at the Chocksett Inn! Tianna helped us organize a welcome party, wedding ceremony and reception, after party, and post-wedding breakfast and everything went so smoothly! We received so many complements about the events and venue and had the most amazing weekend!
Location: The inn is so cute and it was so nice to have everything right on site! The bridal suite connected to the getting ready area, and because many people stayed on site (~27 rooms available), people could easily run and grab things as needed. The bridal suite has an apartment style entrance near the parking lot which allowed me to greet people as they came in!
Food: We had several people with dietary preferences and/or allergies (primarily vegan and gluten free) and the team was incredibly helpful in identifying options for all individuals to have plenty to eat and provided clear communication about allergen information to guests.
Dogs: We were able to have our dogs at the ceremony and in pictures even though we took many photos inside due to weather. Our dogs stayed in the bridal suite during the reception.
Decor: We were able to drop off decorations early (~1 week) and were minimally involved in putting up and taking down decorations - the team at the Chocksett took the lead on all of this and made things look beautiful! They also set things up early so we could see how things looked before the day of!
Vendors: The Chocksett has a list of vendors you can use but welcomes other vendors. Tianna helped to coordinate with vendors day of so I could focus on getting ready. She made everything run so smoothly!
Pricing: Pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to other venues in the area and considering all of the coordination and extra support you receive.

The Perfect Wedding Venue
Chocksett Inn was the absolutely perfect venue for our weddding. Tianna and her team are absolutely incredible. Her guidance throughout planning and coordination on day of were top tier. Her communication, expertise, and kindness made our day absolutely perfect!
Ourselves and our guests absolutely loved the food. Great portions and choices for meals, as well as plenty of passed apps during cocktail hour. The cocktail hour space and ballroom offer such a beautiful atmosphere for a fun evening! The guest accommodations, bridal suite and getting ready room, and after party location are all conveniently located on site.
We could not be more thankful for Tianna and her staff and highly recommend this venue to anyone! They ensure your wedding day is beyond perfect!

Chocksett Wedding!
The Chocksett Inn was THE most wonderful, beautiful and accommodating place and experience for our wedding! We dreamt of having all of our wedding events within one space, and the Chocksett Inn allowed us to achieve that. From rehearsal to rehearsal dinner, bridal suites and getting ready on site, indoor and outdoor wedding day accommodations, overnight stay at the Inn for all guests, and brunch the next morning! The Chocksett Inn staff and service was outstanding, and we owe everything to our dream wedding coordinator, Tianna. She was THE most genuine, helpful, and efficient wedding coordinator I could dream of working with. We are so grateful to her for helping us every step of the way, and helping to accommodate our dream wedding weekend. With as many couples and clients she has on her schedule, Tianna is prompt and caring, and makes you feel like number one. She was always there to help answer and curate every question and vision we had!
The Chocksett Inn is truly a lovely place, and well equipped to create your dream wedding weekend! We are forever grateful and look forward to visiting on our anniversary! Thank you so much to the Chocksett Inn!

Amazing wedding venue!
Our wedding was September 2026! We had the most amazing experience, Tianna and all the staff at the Chocksett were so easy to work with, making our day as stress free as possible! The Chocksett has everything you need all in one place! Beautiful outdoor ceremony area, ballroom reception, amazing food, and accommodations for your guests! 10/10 recommend!!

Best Day Ever!
We do not have enough words to describe how wonderful the Chocksett Inn is! The garden is beautiful and provided the perfect space for our cocktail hour. The ballroom was spacious and the attached hotel was perfect for our guests to stay for the whole weekend! Tianna and her staff were beyond amazing. Throughout the whole process she was only an email away answering all my questions within an hour. The week of our wedding Tianna was available at our convenience to drop off our decorations and to go over our vision. Even with the little time we spent talking over everything we had brought, Tianna captured our vision perfectly. She was open to all our ideas for the day, including setting up a full karaoke machine in the downstairs bar for the after party. As the bride I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of our wedding because Tianna and her team were on it. They set up and packed up everything, even made sure we had a box of cannoli's to take home when we spent too long on the dance floor and missed our cannoli bar. At the end of a long day we were able to walk 2 mins to our bedroom where we found all our flowers, gifts, and a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us. We had the most perfect day at the Chocksett Inn and highly recommend you consider having your perfect day here!

The Chocksett Inn is EXCELLENT!

Firstly, every appointment we had at the venue before the wedding was made stress free by the director and manager of wedding sales-Tianna. The process was so smooth it didn’t feel like we were planning a wedding. She was so kind and helpful in every interaction we had with her either in person or through email!
Secondly, the venue itself is gorgeous and with all our decor set out, the tables set out and the flowers-it looked prettier than I could have ever imagined!
Thirdly, the STAFF. The staff at the Chocksett in is extremely friendly, and kind. Everything single person we spoke to was personable. The bridal attendant I had for the evening did WAY more than I expected that I felt bad she was running all over the place all evening. She made sure we always had drinks, food, cake. She kept asking me if I was ok, and if I needed anything.
I would say, all and all our experience there was perfect. I highly recommend The Chocksett Inn as a wedding venue-and we will definitely be back to eat at the restaurant because on top of everything-the food is DELICIOUS!

I've been delivering cakes to the Chocksett Inn for as long as I can remember. The staff is both friendly and professional. They are one of the top most recommended venues on my list!
Wonderful venue for weddings and all types of events!
Chocksett Inn is one of our favorite Central Massachusetts wedding venues. The garden area is perfect for your outdoor ceremony and the ballroom is spacious and modern. Their staff is incredible attentive and every time we've worked there, we have had a great experience. I would recommend looking into the Chocksett in for your New England wedding.
