I had the absolute pleasure of working with the incredibly talented Dianne Rockwell the Cake Lady for our wedding cake, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

First and foremost, the cake design was absolutely stunning. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention to detail and the level of craftsmanship that went into creating our wedding cake left us in awe. Dianne was incredibly accommodating and receptive to our ideas and vision. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable in helping us make decisions about flavors, sizes, and design elements.

She is also a delight to be around. Her warm and pleasant demeanor made every interaction enjoyable. Planning a wedding can be a stressful experience, but her positivity and professionalism put us at ease throughout the entire process.

So many of our guests came up to us and raved about how it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. It was a true crowd-pleaser, and we couldn't have been happier with the flavors we chose.

For our wedding cake we reached out to Dianne aka the cake lady, and she hit it out of the park. We were able to do a three tiered cake with each tiere being a different flavor. The cake was extremely moist, not too sweet, and had the perfect cake to filling ratio. Also she goes above and beyond be serving cake rounds instead of sheet cake to make your guests feel they are all get a piece of the actual wedding cake.

We cannot say enough about Dianne's cake! It was beautiful in appearance and absolutely delicious in taste! The detail on the cake and then within each layer was amazing! She is a true master at baking!! Would recommend her to anyone!

Her cakes are delicious, so light and moist. We loved our cake and so did our guests! I would definitely buy another cake from her for future events!

Dianne used to make my birthday cakes until I was about five-years-old when she began strictly making wedding cakes only. My family waited 21 years to taste Dianne's incredible cakes again. I'm not really a cake person in general, usually at another person's wedding I skip the cake altogether. Dianne's cakes, however, are not to be missed! No matter how intricate or large, it will always be the best cake in the world: incredibly moist with the most delicious frosting! All of our wedding guests made a point to compliment our cake as they were leaving for the night. And can we just talk about her sugar flowers? I had to convince so many people that they weren't real flowers! She is the most talented person I know. Dianne is terrific to work with: she has so many designs and flavors to choose from ,and even took my pinspiration to make my dream wedding cake. I'm going to recommend her for all of my friends' weddings so I don't have to wait for my kids to get married before I can have her cakes again! Side note, I had two cakes: one for my COVID ceremony in 2020 and the second for my reception in 2021. "I'm sorry your wedding plans had to change due to the pandemic?" "Why? I got to have two of Dianne's cakes in a year!"

For years my aunt INSISTED that I hire The Cake Lady for my wedding when the time came and I am SO glad that I did! For starters, Dianne was so accommodating and flexible when our wedding plans changed due to COVID-19. She worked with us and was more than willing to adapt to our smaller wedding and our new plan when the day came. I sent her some photos of our centerpieces and the design she came up with was perfect. She even was able to incorporate a little paw print at my request to symbolize our sweet little puppy who couldn't be at the wedding! Our cake was absolutely beautiful but even more importantly DELICIOUS. We decided on maple walnut cake with a cream cheese filling, and almond cake with a raspberry cream filling and they were both phenomenal. Guests were raving about the cake and there was hardly any maple walnut left at the end of the night. At the morning after brunch, we had requests from guests to put any left over cake out, and it was all gone within minutes. Everyone remarked that it was the best cake they had ever tasted. We already can't wait until our 1st Anniversary to dig back in!

Our wedding venue, Butternut Farm Golf Club, recommended The Cake Lady & I’m so glad we went with her! It was so easy and the cake was beautiful and delicious.
Because we chose our package with the venue to include the cake, picking the cake was really fast & easy. We had 6 design options to pick from & a list of so many flavors to combine. We went with 2 flavors: key lime cake with a raspberry filling for one tier and chocolate chocolate chip with chocolate buttercream. The cake was really good - I had so many friends & family tell me that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. We had a 3 tier cake to cut & then Dianne made extra rounds so that there would be enough cake for all of our guests (about 150).
I followed the top tier cake freezing instructions to the letter, because of COVID we did unfreeze the top tier at about 6 months to free up some freezer space, but we re-froze 2 slices to enjoy on our one year anniversary. We ate the rest of the cake at 6 months and it was still really delicious (I would not have known the cake was frozen). I would definitely recommend Dianne to everyone - her cake was amazing!

We chose Dianne the Cake Lady because it was part of our package at Butternut Farms Golf Club. I was a bit apprehensive about not meeting her, getting to taste flavors, and having limited options design wise. Hope reassured me that her cakes are always amazing and moist. They have worked with Dianne for many years. On our wedding day, I saw our cake and was amazed at how beautiful it turned out. Then when we tasted it. It was by far the best cake either of us had ever had. She also put aside the top layer and gave us instructions on how to freeze it for our first anniversary. We are looking forward to eating that part.

Can not recommend enough. So easy to work with, even from a distance, She traveled 121 miles to deliver the cake for my daughter's wedding. So many flavors to choose from and the best tasting, most moist wedding cake I have ever tasted. Dianne was so easy to work with and had good suggestions which helped us make the final decision on flavors and design, as well as a cake tasting to decide on flavors. That's right, flavors, my daughter ended up with 5 different ones.
