We ordered our wedding cake from Dessert Works and it was an absolute showstopper! Not only was the design elegant and perfectly matched our vision, but the taste—WOW. The texture was incredibly soft, the flavor was rich but not overpowering, and every single guest raved about how delicious it was.

The mini-sized wedding cake they made for us was the cutest thing ever, and it completely stole my heart. It added such a sweet personal touch to our special day.

Dessert works was an absolute pleasure to work with! They made the entire process easy as we are from out of state and ordered a cake for our wedding in Foxborough MA. They were flexible with planning a tasting and working with us to ensure our cake was everything we hoped for. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly as advertised (it was even more beautiful in person). Delivery was smooth and our guests were raving about how delicious it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better bakery to use for our wedding cake!!

We had such a wonderful experience with Dessert Works for our wedding! The cake tasting was so much fun and we loved getting to try so many flavors- we actually thought it was much harder than expected to choose because every flavor was so great. We ended up going with carrot cake and raspberry/chocolate and both were amazing! It was so easy to get our vision finalized for what we wanted the cake to look like. The look and taste were both perfect and all our guests raved about how delicious it was!

We are grateful to Dessert Works for their loving care of our wedding cake. Honestly the cake was an afterthought to us when we started planning our wedding, to the point that we had decided not to have one.

We chose the Lenox Hotel as our wedding venue (also gets top marks, btw). The Lenox partners with Dessert Works for wedding cakes, which is an early indicator of the quality product and service you're getting from the latter. But even so, we initially opted to exclude the cake from our wedding package. Wrong idea. We finally got around to looking at Dessert Works' website and when we saw their enticing list of flavors, our mouths started watering. We followed up with the Lenox and said hey, we DO want the cake.

We got to work with Ashley at Dessert Works. Her warmth and kindness over emails and calls did not go unnoticed. She made it clear that our big day was special for Dessert Works too. And she made the process easy as could be, from intake to the final call to confirm the guest count.

We were super excited for the cake tasting. Dessert Works gives you their 6 most popular flavors to sample, with the option to add flavors for a small fee. We got 8 flavors which proved more than we needed! We couldn't do the tasting at the bakery, because we were coming from out of town and were on a tight schedule, but Dessert Works made it easy to do our tasting to-go. They packaged all the cake slices into a neat box, each slice wrapped in plastic, with a container of their American and Italian buttercreams on the side. And because neither of us had time to pick it up ourselves, Dessert Works kindly let my mother-in-law pick it up for us. She reported back that the service was great.

We chose a combination of their Chocolate Mousse and Vanilla Chocolate. Both have chocolate mousse, of which I am a huge fan. The mousse is delicious, but not too rich. The cake is moist, and not overly sweet. The lightness of the vanilla cake and the density of the chocolate cake provide nice balance. We had an extravaganza doing a self-led cake tasting with the matron of honor - herself a chocolate lover who affirmed that the mousse was the right choice.

From there, Dessert Works kept things moving without ever stressing us out. For the cake design, they sent us a photo gallery of past designs as inspiration. We quickly latched on to an elegant yet simple design of lotus branches with pretty red and pink flowers. We had a video call with Ashley and filled out a comprehensive questionnaire that further improved the experience. And that was all we needed to do for cake planning.

On the day of, our 3-tier cake exceeded our expectations. Delivery and setup were so seamless, we had no idea it was happening. We didn't think about the cake until we walked in for our reception, and there it was, sitting majestically atop a table. It was DEFINITELY more beautiful in person than in photos. We wish we had more time to admire it.

And how did the cake taste that day? Delicious. I had a slice of the Chocolate Mousse to end the night, and it was the best piece of chocolate cake I've had in a long time.

Oh, and that tradition of saving a slice of the cake for your anniversary? Dessert Works takes that to the next level with their "honeymoon cake," a beautifully packaged mini version of the wedding cake. It was the cherry on top.

We are thrilled with what Dessert Works gave us: A terrific cake created by terrific people. It's funny, we never got to meet any of them in person, so we'll just have to stop by the bakery in Westwood on our next trip to Beantown.

We tasted 3-4 cakes before finally finding Dessert Works and immediately knew our search had come to an end. All the cake flavors we tried were moist and full of flavor, staff was friendly and accommodating, and customization requests were seamlessly executed. We loved the mini version of our cake included as the anniversary cake, attention to detail was lovely. Gluten free and other allergy restrictions were handled professionally with care which was huge for us (we had multiple allergies at our wedding) and everyone was so nice! Definitely recommend!

Dessertworks did an impeccable job with our raspberry Italian buttercream wedding cake. All our guests were raving about how good it tastes!! We can’t wait to have our anniversary cake! Thank you Dessertworks!!!

We picked Dessert Works from the options our venue, Blue Hill Country Club provided us, since the cake was included in our package. The cake was gorgeous and delicious. It was exactly what we expected from our tasting. They were so easy to work with. Everyone keeps raving about the cake and loved the look of it.

Dessert Works pulled off exactly what I envisioned our wedding cake to look like! The team walked me through the options and process, and was extremely attentive and careful with my dietarian restrictions which was very much appreciated!

And the cake was delicious!
