  Dianne was amazing. Our cake was out of this world! The variety of flavors and fillings that Dianne offers is sure to please anyone and every one! We were both amazed at how gorgeous our cake was and how delicious it was. We had a fall theme to our New England wedding so our cake was ombre with yellow at the top, orange in the middle and a rust/gold color for the bottom layer. And then our topper was a spray of painted sugar leaves that Dianne made herself. Everything about our cake was incredible! We are counting down the days until we can thaw the top part for our anniversary! :)

  Dianne makes AMAZING cakes!!! After having two other friends recommend Dianne to me, I had few hesitations about giving her a call. Once I met with her, I had none! After meeting with Dianne in her home office and discussing our needs and budget, I left feeling 100% confident that I had made the perfect choice for our cake vendor. Dianne is truly sincere in her approach, and her enthusiasm for what she does shows. After our meeting, I found a design I fell in love with, and it was no match for "The Cake Lady." It came out exactly like the picture! Also, Dianne's cakes are not only impecably made, they taste delicious! We had a hard time narrowing down which flavors we wanted because there were so many to choose from.
  
  I have already recommended Dianne to two other brides for 2012, and hope that they choose to book with her, too! Not to mention, I can't wait to dig into our topper on our 1 year anniversary. Thank you, Dianne!!

  Diane was SO fun to work with. She works out of her home (which was conveniently 5 minutes away from my house) and consults with you in her home. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. Because she works from home, she doesn't deliver very far so this won't help those of you in the Boston area much, but in the Worcester area, I would encourage you to contact her. She did exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price and it was beautiful and absolutely delicious. I actually had quite a few guests tell me afterward that they loved my cake!

  My husband and I first heard about Dianne “The Cake Lady” because she was on the list of “preferred vendors” that was given to us by Lord Thompson Manor, where we were married. After reading reviews we decided that she was the person we wanted to create our wedding cake. The reviews did not let us down!! Dianne is warm, responsive, and easy to work with. But most importantly, her cakes taste and look amazing. Ever the indecisive bride when it comes to food, we sampled several flavors of cake: chocolate and peanut butter, lemon, almond, strawberry, and red velvet all with a variety of fillings and icings. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. WAS. DECADENT. We ended up going with chocolate cake with a layer of fudge and peanut butter cake for the bottom tier and almond cake with raspberry filling for the top two tiers. The cake itself was stunning. Dianne is a genius when it comes to making sugar flowers. I had stumbled across some images of cake designs that I loved on pinterest and sent them to her. She was able to merge them just the way I had envisioned. The cake truly brought a huge smile to my face when I saw it on my wedding day. All of our guests loved it too! If you choose Dianne, you won’t be disappointed!

  Dianne is wonderful and her cakes are amazing! We had had one of her cakes at a friend’s wedding and remembered it for 2 years until our own wedding. She worked with us from day one to design our perfect cake. I even lost a glove in her driveway and she was nice enough to dry it out and mail it back to me. The tasting was fun and we settled on the mint chocolate chip cake and the white cake with strawberry filling. Everyone (yes, everyone!) at our wedding RAVED about the cake and our engaged friends all asked us for her information. Dianne even made a special small cake for my godmother who is allergic to strawberries so she could have cake without worrying about cross-contamination in the kitchen. Dianne was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her!

Diane made my vision come to life, more than I could of ever hoped for! You will not be disappointed if you do your cake with Diane! She is easy to work with and has a wonderful personality. AND talk about the best cake you have ever eaten!! Worth every penny!

Once we saw Diane Rockwell The Cake Lady cakes, we knew we had found what we were looking for. My daughter's face lit right up and her eyes said it all....the search had ended.   Dianne did an amazing job with our wedding cake. We had a consultation with her, and brought our ideas, but also looked through her albums and were able to come up with something for our cake. We tried several different flavors, and decided to go with three differnet flavors. Each flavor of cake was absolutely delicious and everyone at our wedding raved about the flavors!!! Having multiple flavors gave everyone a chance to talk about the cake, try different flavors and really enjoy the experience! I only wish I could have had a piece of my own cake!!!

  Dianne's work is impeccable. Not only did our cake come out more beautiful than we could have hoped for it was also 10/10 delicious! She was super responsive to any questions we had and so easy to work with. I highly recommend her! We wouldn't chose anyone else if we were to do it again!

We were not interested in doing fondant for our cake but no one else was able to give the smooth clean lines that Dianne offered with buttercream. The cake was moist, full of flavor and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have been happier with Dianne's work and she was great to work with!

You should feel confident that your cake will arrive at your venue without any issues.   I met with her the week before the wedding, I had exactly what I wanted in mind, and a semi tight budget. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made it work within my budget. She was promptly early to the wedding, did a beautiful job, and the cake tasted so good many of my guests have used her in their own weddings because they were so impressed.

  Dianne Rockwell Rocks!
  We researched dozens of wedding cake vendors and we decided on The Cake Lady, Dianne Rockwell, because we liked the quality, designs, and price of the cakes. When we met Dianne, she was extremely friendly, welcoming, and insightful in helping us with choosing the cake. Upon our request, she baked three different flavors for us to try (pumpkin, maple walnut, and the lemon cakes). The three of them were delicious and we decided to go ahead with signing the contract. One point about our wedding cake is that we wanted to write the Arabic word for “love” on it in a special calligraphic design which we provided for her. On the wedding day, Dianne arrived on time if not even earlier. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the cake and our special design worked out. The cake tasted fresh and we can't wait to eat the top on our first anniversary... but since it was so good, we may eat it sooner if we can't control our impulses!   We researched dozens of wedding cake vendors and we decided on The Cake Lady, Dianne Rockwell, because we liked the quality, designs, and price of the cakes. When we met Dianne, she was extremely friendly, welcoming, and insightful in helping us with choosing the cake.   Dianne is a true joy to work with. We approached her with some off the wall ideas and she integrated every last request into our Halloween themed cake. The detail on the cake was amazing! My guests continue to comment on how delicious the cake flavors were. I even saw many guests taking one of each flavor cake just to be able to taste them all. The cake was so stunning and so different that it had its own starring role on our big day. We can not say enough good things about Dianne - her cakes are delicious and her attention to detail is absolutely stunning!

  Dianne was an absolute pleasure to work with. We met in her Home/Bakery office to discuss our cake. She has many pictures for reference and many pre-constructed items (such as different Flowers and Sizes) to view as well. When it came to color she could match anything. We sent her a Home Depot paint swatch of the color that we wanted a flower to be and it matched perfectly. The best part of Dianne's cakes... The taste. We received many positive remarks from our guest about the cake flavor and design. I was also impressed with her willingness to work with our florist to add some real flowers to the cake. We highly recommend this vendor if you are in the market for any type of cake. The sample cakes she prepared for us were also a very nice touch. The last aspect that we thought was great was her attention to preservation for the top tier. Very detailed instruction were included with the cake. We even had a quick question regarding the process and she was able to answer it immediately. Thanks Dianne your cakes are amazing

  Dianne is an incredibly talented, respectful, professional and awesome person to work with. We told her that we had planned a "beach themed" wedding and she delivered the most amazing cake.... with edible beach fencing, sand, shells! AWESOME~ it was the center piece of our wedding. people LOVED it! my husband actually missed out on a piece because people had seconds! it was truly a PERFECT cake. and the taste..... even more perfect than the look. moist, tastey, and memorable.... even a year later on our anniversary, the frozen top layer was perfect!

Her creativity is unmatched and we could tell right from the start that she just has a passion for cake baking, and truly cares about making a couple's cake vision come to life. When it came to design, we knew we wanted an elegant but simple cake design, and Dianne far exceeded our expectations, the cake was beautiful! At our tasting, we tried several of her cake flavors and all were so delicious! In the end we selected carrot cake with cream cheese filling, almond cake with raspberry filling, and mint chocolate chip cake with chocolate buttercream filling. I will dream about the mint chocolate chip cake for the rest of my life, it was so good! Our guests LOVED it and so did we!! I also worked with Dianne to create a surprise Red Sox themed groom's cake for my husband, and she took every step to not only make sure it was perfect in design, but to also make sure it remained a surprise! I cannot say enough amazing things about Dianne, she is simply one of a kind!!
