Facilities and Capacity
There are five available event spaces for couples to choose from and use throughout their wedding day. Couples may also host a cocktail reception for up to 1,000 wedding guests at Boston Marriott Newton in our Grand Ballroom or a plated package with seating for 500 and a dance floor. One of the outdoor spaces is the Riverside Pavillion that features 3,600 square feet and overlooks the Charles River.

We held our reception at the Newton Marriott and they did a fabulous job. They were able to accommodate us by allowing us to use a wedding package from another Marriott location. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful during the duration of our stay. The bridal photos were outside and they made sure that we had plenty of appetizers and drinks while we were taking photos. The food was amazing, guests are still talking about it to this day! We had someone assisting us through the entire reception and it made it so much easier for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend the Newton Marriott as an event or reception venue, they do an amazing job!

When we booked the Marriott for our venue we were happy just for the location and to support the brand. We knew from our many hotel stays that they would give us a good experience. We did not know that we would be paired with such a fantastic coordinator! Nicole was in touch with me early on and answered all of my questions, even the ones that didn’t apply to the venue specifically! She is a true professional and knew exactly how to make our day perfect. The day of, she was on hand for every single thing from coordinating the many vendors to making sure all the food was perfect – even to helping bustle my dress and getting my second pair of shoes from my room! At the end of the night, we were surprised in our suite with a bottle of sparkling brut and a wonderful congratulations note :) We are so happy with our experience and highly recommend the Marriott and Nicole!

Marriott Newton is great place to have weddings. They have both indoor and outdoor facilities so it gives you the flexibility to do outdoor/indoor weddings. They have so many ballrooms so there is plenty of rooms available to carry out all the wedding related festivities.
