Experience
Konditor Meister was founded in 1985 by Günther Mösinger, a master pastry chef trained in Germany. The name “Konditor Meister” translates to “Master Pastry Chef,” a title Günther earned after years of education and hands-on training in some of Germany’s finest hotels and cafés.
After moving to Boston in 1981, Günther continued his career at the Ritz-Carlton, where his creativity, precision, and attention to detail quickly earned recognition. Four years later, he opened Konditor Meister, specializing in custom wedding and celebration cakes.
What began as one pastry chef’s passion has grown into a renowned bakery with a team of more than 70 bakers, decorators, pastry chefs, and artisans. Konditor Meister has been nationally recognized by the Today Show and honored by Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston® and The Knot’s Best of Weddings.

Two personal favorites: the classic white cake filled with white chocolate mousse, strawberries, and Grand Marnier; and the chocolate cake filled with Oreo mousse. Delicious and creative. In addition to delicious cakes, the decorations are stunning. They follow directions to the letter and are efficient about requests and follow-through. Konditor Meister creates a masterpiece that is as wonderful to look at as it is to eat.
