From start to finish, our experience with Waypoint was nothing short of exceptional. The team’s professionalism and responsiveness made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. They coordinated seamlessly with our on-site vendors, ensuring that every detail- from setup to the final toast - was executed flawlessly. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by every guest. Beyond the service and cuisine, the venue itself was stunning. The beautiful architecture, featuring historic Whaler walls, an open-concept layout, and exposed beams, created a warm yet elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented our celebration. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting or a more dedicated team to bring our wedding vision to life.

We had the absolute pleasure of booking our wedding with the Crowne Plaza team. The event coordinators we had the pleasure of working with were communicative, responded quickly, and were always willing to help or provide answers to questions as they arose. On the day of our wedding, Kristy did an incredible job of checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, but also took the time to make sure I was feeling okay because she knew how nervous I was. There was never a doubt in my mind that Kristy would make our dream wedding come true! Amanda also did an incredible job of setting up the Atrium for our ceremony and took the vision I had in mind and brought it to life. Throughout the evening, we also had incredible banquet staff members who took such good care of us and our guests. Our family and friends could not stop raving about how wonderful they were. Connor and Sapphire were on top of their game and ensured everything ran smoothly. Sapphire made sure to wrap our meals and some desserts for us because they noticed we were spending time with our guests and didn't have the chance to sit down and enjoy our meals fully. Connor took the time to attend to one of our friends who had a severe allergy and ensured everything was safe for her to eat. He also took measures to make sure there was plenty of water for our guests to hydrate with after dancing the night away. If you are considering booking your wedding with Crowne Plaza, just know you are in such great hands and you will not regret it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a memorable and incredible evening that we'll remember for the rest of our lives!

We absolutely LOVE Gansett Cruises! We hosted our rehearsal dinner as a sunset cruise in August, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The experience was affordable, seamless to plan, and the views were unbeatable.The entire staff from the captain to the bartenders, were professional, fun, and incredibly easy to work with. They offer a great selection of cocktails, and we loved that we could bring our own pizza and finger foods on board. Being able to use their speaker system for music and toasts made the night feel even more personal. The boat itself is comfortable with plenty of space for guests of all ages, and the highlight was definitely the top deck at sunset... can't beat those Newport Harbor views! 10/10. Highly recommend for any special event!

Kirkbrae was a wonderful venue for our special day. The view of their property on a peak fall day is breathtaking. While Tiffany and the rest of the Kirkbrae staff were great and very professional.

Valley Country Club is a truly special place and we were so lucky to have our wedding there on 5/17/25. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious but what makes it so special is the people. Lauren and Steve both made sure our wedding was absolutely perfect and we worried about nothing. They were so attentive and responsive for the months leading up to the wedding as well, putting all our pre wedding anxieties at ease. I cannot stress enough that the staff at Valley Country Club are truly spectacular. Our bartenders, Alyssa and Janaiya were the absolute best and helped make our wedding so fun. The waitresses and waiters were also top notch and so attentive. Our guests have not stopped ranting and raving since our wedding night about this venue and the staff. Our wedding night was the best night of our lives and that was largely in part to the staff at Valley Country Club.

We loved working with Caroline on our event. She was flexible, accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed bringing in an outside vendor for our meal but also having access to the cafe for coffee, tea, etc. The venue is very reasonably priced too!

We cannot say enough incredible things about our wedding venue and the entire team who made our day absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, the sales team was welcoming, organized, and genuinely invested in helping us bring our vision to life. They guided us through every step of the planning process, answered our countless questions with patience, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and exciting. The catering team was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the meal was. Every detail was handled with care, from accommodating dietary needs to ensuring flawless timing throughout the reception. The banquet team executed everything seamlessly — tables were set perfectly, service was attentive and professional, and the entire event flowed effortlessly from start to finish. My husband and I became engaged right in the middle of the pandemic. Despite this, Kate responded quickly to all of my emails and when I was getting nervous about guidelines/restrictions related to covid, she would look for a time to talk and she helped reassure me on the phone. The Renaissance made our ballroom wedding come true and my husband and I fell in love with the look of our reception. From the bistro lights included in our package to the cocktail hour, everyone loved it and commented so much on how beautiful everything looked. We have so many great things to say about this venue and truly feel blessed that we were able to have our wedding at the Renaissance and customize what we were looking for. Thank you Kate and everyone at the Renaissance for a wonderful night and experience!

We recently had a Wedding in Newport RI. After speaking with several caterers in the area we decided to broaden our search. We looked at caterers all over Rhode Island. We decided to look into Chelo's after attending a wedding at their location on the water in Warwick, RI. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive and friendly. We decided to contact Summer who oversees the catering at Chelo's . Summer was very professional and accommodating. We were not sure they would travel to Newport to cater a reception, however Summer assured us they do travel and would be happy to help us with our reception. My daughter and fiancé met with Summer to go over menu options and logistics. Once the meal was selected, Summer set up a tasting so they could get an idea of what was going to be served. Everything was delicious and the meal plan was set. One question we had was did they cook the meal at Chelo's and transport or did they cook on site. We were pleased to hear they cooked on site. The meal choice consisted of Filet Mignon or Baked Stuffed Shrimp both accompanied by roasted red potatoes and green beans. Appetizers consisted of Clam Cakes and Chowder and Sliders which were all hot, fresh and delicious. We were concerned regarding to the Filet preparation because if not cooked right, it can be very tough. We were very pleased when the meal was served and every Filet was moist and juicy. The Filet was covered in a garlic butter sauce which complimented it perfectly. We cannot say enough about quality of the meal, both the Filet and Baked stuffed shrimp were hot moist and delicious. Summer and her staff were attentive, polite and professional. From appetizers through desserts everyone loved the food. When looking for a wedding caterer save yourself time and money by going with Chelo's. Your guaranteed to be completely satisfied with both the food and the service. Chelo's took care of everything from setup, getting the linens and tableware to clean up. Summer and her staff are amazing and I would recomment them for any Banquet or Catering needs.

Rachel’s Lakeside is a beautiful venue. The mid-October foliage and lakeside views created a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos. My bridal party and I got ready in the Tuscany Suite, which was absolutely gorgeous. It had plenty of space for our makeup artist, hair stylists, and all of us getting ready. The lighting was beautiful, perfect for getting-ready photos and it made the entire morning feel relaxed and special. Sofia and her team were fantastic. She made the entire booking process easy and was consistently responsive from the day we reserved the date to the day we got married. She ensured our ceremony ran smoothly and our reception looked perfect. I didn’t need to give her detailed instructions, she brought my vision to life with her experience and professionalism. The food was delicious, and many guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Our appetizers were coconut chicken, bacon-wrapped scallops, and grilled tenderloin crostini. For entrées, we offered Prime Rib au Jus and New Bedford Scrod. All were excellent. Our bartender was amazing and made great drinks. We had suggested cocktails (his: espresso martini; hers: blackberry margarita), and both were perfect. I’m so pleased with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Rachel’s to anyone looking for a beautiful ceremony and reception with excellent food and drinks.
