Waypoint Event Center is an events and wedding venue located in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Nestled in historic downtown and housed in a renovated whaling-era structure, this space is the ideal fusion of old and new.
Facilities and Capacity
The Waypoint Event Center offers a 3,000-square-foot venue space. The South Coast has no other location quite like it when it comes to historic beauty. The SeaLoft features exposed stone and original woodwork from the 1830s. With a guest capacity of up to 110, the contemporary space is given a touch of both rustic and industrial flair by the cathedral ceilings and exposed wood beams. The Vineyard Room is ideally suited to be used as a ceremony space. The nearby New Bedford Harbor and downtown attractions provide a unique backdrop for photographs. For maritime charm meets modern amenities, Waypoint Event Center is the perfect choice.

The menus we offer is sure to impress with cuisine featuring the very best both land and sea have to offer, including lobster and filet mignon. Services include planning, bar and drinks, and food and catering. You will find tables, chairs, linens, glassware and flatware available, and setup and cleanup. We could not be happier with how our wedding day went. Their was great communication throughout the wedding planning process. Follow through on our vision for the wedding went even better than planned. The food was excellent, compliments from multiple guest. Highly recommend Waypoint Event Center and working with Chelsey, she is the best!!!
