From start to finish, our experience with Waypoint was nothing short of exceptional. The team’s professionalism and responsiveness made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. They coordinated seamlessly with our on-site vendors, ensuring that every detail- from setup to the final toast - was executed flawlessly. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by every guest. Beyond the service and cuisine, the venue itself was stunning. The beautiful architecture, featuring historic Whaler walls, an open-concept layout, and exposed beams, created a warm yet elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented our celebration. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting or a more dedicated team to bring our wedding vision to life.

We did not do a traditional wedding reception and they worked with us the whole time to make it exactly what we wanted. We booked with them from 12-4PM, we did appetizers, desserts and drinks, and we did a one hour open bar. We are so grateful for the team at Merrill’s for everything they did to make our wedding celebration special. Everything looked perfect, and the food and service was amazing. Our guests were very happy and kept complimenting the food and the signature drink. It was such a pleasure to work with Victoria throughout this whole process. It was easy to work with her and the communication was always quick and easy.

Yep. I said it. It was a whale of a good time. This venue was perfect for us. Both of us love the ocean--from swimming, to diving, to fishing. Our guests were really WOW-ed from the ceremony in the auditorium, to the cocktail hour in the Lagoda, to the reception upstairs. Ceremony- I loved having my ceremony in the auditorium, because I didn't have to decorate (there was already a ship model for a back drop on stage). I also knew that my guests were comfortable in padded seats and air conditioning (you're welcome, guests). Lagoda- Our photographer got some AMAZING shots of us in this room before the ceremony. We also had our cocktail hour here and my small, acoustic band, was able to play a few songs on the ship during the ceremony. This was priceless. Reception- The reception upstairs was just right for the size of wedding we had. The dance floor was perfect, but I also know a lot of guests spent time outside savoring the view from the deck and enjoying the fresh air. The venue was unique and beautiful and resulted in a very memorable wedding. Our guests were raving about it. I would recommend this venue!

Our experience with General Manager Cynthia Bouchard was excellent. She did an amazing job in every respect and her attention to detail was superb. She took care of everything and always seemed to have things well under control - she was never flustered over anything at any point. We could not have asked for a better manager/event coordinator! Cindy has decades of experience to calmly guide her clients in the event planning process and readily gives honest advice because she has seen firsthand what works best. She is incredibly flexible in accommodating the individual needs and desires of her clients as well as in creating the best experience possible for the event day. We were never left with any doubt that everything would get taken care of to the degree that we wanted it to be and us having that confidence in her was a huge load of stress off of our minds. Cindy was always punctual for our meetings, professional, efficient in her correspondence, and was overall a pleasure to interact with. In addition to the wedding reception, we hosted a breakfast for our guests the day after our wedding at the Wamsutta Club and Cindy made the planning and logistics for that very straightforward and easy for us, as she had with everything else under her care. Every option from Wamsutta's menu was delicious and full of flavor; every meal was prepared with care and style. We received many compliments from our guests on our wedding, due in large part to the fabulous job that Cindy did with having everything so organized. Everything ran smoothly and we didn't need to worry about anything thanks to her. We highly recommend Cindy and the Wamsutta Club to anyone looking for an outstanding wedding venue. If we were to go back and do the wedding planning process again, we'd pick her and the Wamsutta Club again, no question!

I can't stop raving about my experience at Cork! I had an intimate wedding of about 30 people and held the reception in Cork's event room. Gina was absolutely amazing to work with! She was so accommodating and helpful that everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic. Everyone was talking about how perfectly the steak was cooked. The outdoor patio was a great location as well. The room itself is so naturally stunning that you don't have to spend much time decorating. The staff was attentive and kind when assisting my elderly grandfather with any special requests. I recommend having any event here!

We hosted our wedding at Kilburn Mill on September 3, 2022. When we initially toured the venue in February of 2021, Robb had recently taken over and was working on reinvigorating the event space at the mill following the pandemic. We loved Robb's honesty and general vibe. He has his shit together, but he's also very kind and was so helpful as we kicked-off our wedding planning process. He really sold us on the vision that he had for the Kilburn Mill Event space. We put our trust in Robb and MAN, did he deliver! We held our ceremony on the roof deck overlooking the water. Robb's team helped ensure that everything was decorated and set up the way that we had envisioned it. For cocktail hour, Robb helped us choose the most amazing signature cocktails -- blueberry vodka lemonade and a watermelon margarita! They were SO good! And he even made sure to have 'Gansett on hand for my husband. Kyle was our right-hand-man on the day of the event and he did an awesome job making sure everything was running smoothly. The venue has so much history and is so unique. Our guests loved it, too! We haven't stopped hearing compliments about what a cool venue it is and we cannot wait to get all of our photos back from our photographer!
