This is by far the most stunning venue for the price you’ll find in all of Newport.

Maggie and Kay helped make our weekend absolutely perfect. From start to finish, they made everything effortless. The day before our wedding, they helped us plan a private boat tour around Newport—one of the biggest highlights of the entire weekend.

The food was unforgettable. Think: a full lobster buffet, endless oysters, and a cocktail shrimp bar that wowed every guest.

One of the most memorable moments was how they coordinated a water taxi for us and our bridal party to leave the venue in style, waving goodbye as we cruised straight to downtown Newport. It was such a unique and fun send-off.

I highly recommend hiring a great band and photographer—those two things, paired with Regatta Place’s incredible team, made our day (and entire weekend) seamless. Maggie and Kay acted as our wedding coordinators, which meant we didn’t have to worry about a single thing.

The venue itself is breathtaking, with so much natural beauty, and the layout allows guests to move around freely rather than being stuck at their tables. Our ceremony on the dock was magical—everything we hoped for and more.

We truly can’t say enough good things. If you’re considering Regatta Place, don’t wait. Book it!

As a wedding planner I know that sometimes venues see weddings more as a business than someones special day. I have had this happen many times in my 10 years of working weddings. When looking for a venue for my own wedding I had 1000 questions and so many ideas as to what my perfect day looked like. Regatta Place made all of my wedding dreams come true. Not only did Galen and Maggie take the time to answer all of my ridiculous questions and accommodate all of my requests but they did it with a smile on their face! They took all of my directions and made sure that Kay, the event coordinator, knew of all our requests from moving the bar and DJ locations to how I wanted the place settings set up. She was absolutely amazing to work with and I could not have asked for anything more!

Overall not just myself but EVERYONE who attended my wedding commented about how professional, meticulous and accommodating the Regatta Place staff was and how the food was delicious and how beautiful the venue is. My husband, my parents, my family, and of course myself could not be more happy with Regatta Place. Coming from a bride with high standards and expectations Regatta Place was the PERFECT Venue. I would give it 10/5 stars if I could but unfortunately I can only give 5/5 so that will have to do!

Regatta, Maggie, Kayley, and the whole staff deserve the highest praise! I cannot recommend Regatta Place more. The venue speaks for itself - gorgeous and uniquely located in Newport. We live here, and many of our guests also live on Aquidneck Island. Several of them commented on how cool it is to see the city from this point of view - an angle we don't really get anywhere else - and to watch the boats pass by in the harbor. It also was more than comfortable for our 150 guests. Plenty of space in the tent and on the dance floor.
The Regatta staff, Maggie, and Kayley were incredible to work with - both had such calming presences.
Maggie was kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable from day one. As we worked with her to plan the day, she was helpful in areas we hadn't even thought of, and made sure we could add several unique and special touches to our day (even something that may seem simple - like easily just switching out a beer option to add Whaler's Rise, a beer we both love and know many of our guests love, meant so much). She was always available for questions leading up to the day, and several bridesmaids commented on how great she was at rehearsal and ceremony time - even when it was "go time" she was super calm and nothing felt too rushed or too "serious" - the exact vibe we wanted to curate! Keep the day moving, but keep things light and fun.
Kayley is truly an unsung heroine - everything from helping us unload and store items, to making sure we all have what we need, to making pivots as the weather changed through the day, to helping hold a bouquet or bustle my dress - she was there. Both of our families spoke so highly of her. On wedding day (and since), several guests asked if I was nervous walking down the aisle and I was not at all! Kayley waited around the corner with my parents and I and kept conversation casual -- I think if we stood there with our thoughts we all could've gotten nervous, but Kayley kept our minds occupied! It really is the little things that add up.
The whole staff is SO attentive, we were always taken care of and we really appreciated having food and drinks ready for us in the suite and getting checked on! They also took our decor and crushed it! It was so nice to not have to even think about the space - they set it up so lovely, also to know that the staff is a well-oiled machine! They know how to handle weather and were able to move some of the tables and signage around as the night went on and things stayed dry.
I could go on and on!! We are so grateful and I wish we could relive our wedding at Regatta every weekend - I would 1000% recommend.

My husband and I cannot thank Regatta Place enough for carrying out our most perfect wedding day this past July. Shoutout to Amanda, Maggie, and Kay. We knew from the views alone, being on the water in Newport with massive yachts surrounding us, that Regatta was high on our list. However, Amanda did a great job with selling this venue to us. Maggie, who helped us then plan the day, was super chill, which every bride needs. She was also beyond genuine and accommodating. She was thorough in her email responses, really going above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we envisioned and more. Kay, our day of coordinator, was just the sweetest thing. She really took care of us wedding day, communicated everything very well, and did her best to fix any hiccups that came up throughout the night. The vibes of this venue were everything on a beautiful summer night in July! Our guests are still talking about how great our wedding was!!!

Regatta Place is incredible! Such a unique venue, with beautiful harborside views. A great backdrop for photos, and such a memorable place. Maggie, the General Manager, is so easy to work with, and such a professional. She is extremely organized, and was flexible with our budget and vision. Kay, our day of coordinator, was on top of the schedule and everything went without a hitch, and right on time. The dinner service was quick and delicious, and Legends of Summer put on the a phenomenal set. I could not recommend this place more if you want to have the party of the year.

Regatta is a class act!! The staff is so kind & on it's game. A++! My daughter had wedding there Oct 4th & it was absolutely perfect. The twinkling lights, champagne/wine as we walked out of ceremony, location, sunset, twinkling lights, candles....ambience plus. The staff was in charge, helpful & kind the entire time. They'd come let us know there was 10 minutes until time to be introduced, or would bring us drinks in bridal suite. Can't thank you enough for making my daughter/son in laws day absolutely amazing!

Regatta Place checked all of our boxes - gorgeous venue, reasonable cost that included everything we could dream of and more (passed mini lobster rolls & espresso martinis??? say less). The location is unreal, and we got to use the Schooner Aurora that the venue also owns for a welcome sail the night before in place of a rehearsal dinner, which was amazing. The whole planning process was seamless and stress free, thanks to the experts at Regatta Place. The minute we walked in to our wedding on the day of, I immediately teared up seeing my vision from the last year of planning executed flawlessly - like even better than I could dream up. They really take care of you and care about your day being amazing!

Our guests complimented the food as "the best wedding food they've ever had" (and we have to agree). Guests also raved about the fact that there was never a long bar line because they are so efficient and we had passed drinks & wine service with dinner as part of our drink package, and my husband and I loved how Kay & Kayley really took care of us in every way day of - taking cards up to the bridal suite, bringing us food, taking my heels when I didn't want to wear them anymore haha.

We also mainly hired vendors from Maggie & Susanna's recommended vendors lists, and they were all flawless, so that's a bonus too!!

Our wedding was amazing. Not only is the location, views, and atmosphere stunning but the food was amazing! The seafood was so fresh and things were served warm to taste. The displays were absolutely gorgeous and guests seemed to notice nothing was left bare or unsightly. Worth every penny! Wish I could relive this day forever.

Regatta Place was a specular venue to get married at. The team I worked with, Maggie and Kay went above and beyond to make our wedding so special and stress free. The service was great and really enjoyed attending our own event!

If you are considering having you wedding at Regatta Place -- do it. It's hard to overstate how fantastic the venue and team were in making our wedding as memorable as it was. From the outset, Maggie, Kay, Amanda, and others made clear that they were invested in delivering the wedding experience that we wanted, without selling us on anything that didn't fit with our budget or plan. We had complete freedom to dress up the space we want and incorporate the elements we wanted, all in the beautiful backdrop that is Newport Harbor.

It is probably worth mentioning that, in our case, we decided to host the wedding without a planner. This was a little daunting on our end, but the Regatta team quickly demonstrated that they would be there to support every aspect of planning -- from vendor selection and coordination to catering to decorations and more, Maggie was instrumental in keeping us on schedule and helping us execute (all while continually putting us at ease). However much or little you need the Regatta team, they will be there.

In terms of the day of the wedding, Maggie, Kay, and team could not have been better. We never expected to say that our wedding day went off without a hitch -- but that's exactly what happened. The rehearsal, ceremony, and following reception all flowed seamlessly, on schedule, and without issue, and our guests repeatedly went out of their way to let us know personally how exceptional the dinner and drink service was -- including rave reviews for both the hors d'oeuvres and entrees.

In sum, go with Regatta Place. The venue is beautiful, the team is superb, and your wedding day will be everything you're hoping for. We cannot recommend it enough!
