My husband and I had a small outdoor elopement with just our officiant and photographer, and Sophia at Rachel’s Lakeside made it feel like a true celebration. Even though it was such an intimate event, she went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP guests. She helped set up our spot by the gazebo, which looked absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage as our backdrop. Sophia was so responsive and accommodating — she managed to fit us in between two other weddings that day without ever making us feel rushed. Everything was perfect thanks to her!

We worked closely with Kendra leading up to our wedding and then switched to Sofia the last month and the night of our wedding. Both ladies were incredible to work with and ensured our wedding was everything we wanted. Everything went so smoothly and it was perfect. We felt listened to and had all questions answered throughout the planning process. They were so accommodating and responsive at all times. We cannot say enough about Rachel's and their staff!!

We were a couple that had to move our original date from 8/2020 to 6/19/21 due to covid. We can’t speak highly enough of how Sherri and Katie helped us with the stress of planning all of this and being so flexible with us due to covid. We had a morning wedding with a ceremony out in the gazebo which was absolutely beautiful! Since we love breakfast so much we took advantage of their brunch for our reception and our only regret is that we didn’t get to eat enough just due to mingling with our guests, but from what we did get to eat the waffles and omelets were to freaking die for! We can’t thank the staff at rachels lakeside enough for making our wedding absolutely worth the wait!

We had the pleasure of having Katie Sherman from Rachel's assist in our wedding. Planning a wedding in the Covid era was stressful but Katie made things super simple and put our fears at ease. Katie's exuberant positive attitude made wedding planning fun! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katie for a wedding or social event. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Throughout the whole process of planning my wedding Sherri, Tyler, & Katie were all a pleasure to work with! However, it was Katie that I worked most with towards the end & did the majority of the work the day of & who I feel like deserves some extra recognition. She had the room setup way ahead of time so that I was able to see everything at the rehersal. She made everything look perfect & exactly the way I wanted, which saved me the trouble of getting to the venue extra early the day of to do a walk through of everything. She was also a joy to have around when I was getting ready. She made a point of checking in with me periodically to let me know when the wedding party & vendors had arrived & that she had gotten them setup as well. On top of that she checked in with me to make sure I was good & when my mom was having trouble doing my bustle she came to the rescue! She even started the camera to record our ceremony, so I didn't have to bother the groomsmen to do it. Also did I mention she made a point to have her outfit match my wedding colors?! Honestly, she went above & beyond & I couldn't be more greatful. I felt like everything was so on point when she was there & I wish she could've stayed the whole night. All in all it was a pretty perfect day. The only recommendation I have for the venue is that if you get hor d'oeuvres make sure the servers save some for or bring some to the bride & groom while they're getting photos done. That & if you get desserts have the servers bring out a little bit of everything, not one thing at a time. But in short if you want to have an effortless wedding that's beautiful & won't break the bank have it Rachel's Lakeside. Sherri, Tyler, & Katie all want your day to be perfect & will answer any questions you have along the way & do everything for you to put your mind at ease to make it that way.

Katie who was in charge of our wedding was amazing. Every time i was starting to stress she had it covered. I was able to take the time and really enjoy my day and not have the worry about anything. The place was beautiful and the food was to die for!
