Twelve Acres is a banquet hall wedding venue situated in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Easily accessible from the Providence and New Bedford regions, this charming location has everything a couple needs to bring their celebration vision to life. Family-owned and operated, it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a range of amenities and facilities for gatherings of all shapes and sizes. Facilities and Capacity
Twelve Acres features both indoor and outdoor spaces to host ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. The outdoor pavilion can accommodate up to 450 guests and is the perfect place to host large gatherings of all varieties. Indoor festivities can take place within the spacious ballroom, which can accommodate ceremonies and receptions of up to 210 attendees. The Willow Room features a rustic and comfortable interior and a fully-stocked private bar, making it perfect for more intimate affairs.

The Twelve Acres features a passionate events team ready to bring every detail of your dream wedding to life. Meticulous and detail-oriented, they will offer a range of services to choose from to craft a personalized planning package. These include setup and cleanup, vendor allocation, timelines, to-do lists, and more for an all-inclusive coordination experience. A selection of event rental items are also available for your day, including chairs, tables, linens, flatware, and glassware.
Cuisine
As well as coordination options, Twelve Acres also offers in-house catering services as well as bar services. You are invited to choose from a variety of food presentation styles, including buffet, plated entrees, and food stations, all maintained by the venue's experienced serving staff. Bar options include a selection of domestic beers, house wines, premium liquors, signature cocktails, and more, all served by their capable team of bartenders. Cocktail toasts are also available, allowing guests to add some extra fizz to their festive fun.

Absolute amazing experience
Bunmi is a literal angel. She went above and beyond to help me save money wherever possible, offering guidance on where to cut back without sacrificing the experience. Every detail came together flawlessly. We had our wedding in the Willow Room, which was stunning, and we were also given an additional side room for our buffet, a thoughtful touch that made the flow of the evening perfect.
One of the most unforgettable moments: I was about to walk down the aisle when I realized I had forgotten my bouquet. Without hesitation, Bunmi ran up the hill, jumped in my car, grabbed it, and got it back to me just in time in 80-something degree heat. That is the kind of dedication you rarely see.
After our ceremony and photos, they did something so special that meant the world to us. They tucked us away in a private room to give us about 45 minutes of just us time. They brought in our drinks, all of our food, and allowed us to take a moment together to soak everything in before heading into the reception. It was intimate, peaceful, and something I didn’t even know I needed until it happened.
The attentiveness didn’t stop there. I had my 12-month-old daughter with me, and the staff not only washed and warmed her bottles but brought them directly to me.
It was the most seamless, beautiful day I could have imagined. If you’re considering this venue, this is where you should go. The space is beautiful, the team is beyond amazing, and they genuinely care about making your day perfect.

Twelve Acres has a casual, friendly and relaxed atmosphere with several great places to take photographs. The staff always goes out of their way to make couples feel special and is great at coordinating the jp/minister if a ceremony is there, the dj and photographer to allow for enough time for photographs and for the couple not to feel rushed. We've photographed several weddings there and appreciate how well landscaped the grounds are.
