Wyndham Newport at the Atlantic Resort

Elaine, our amazing Coordinator, flawlessly executed on My daughter’s wedding this weekend. I am truly grateful that we worked with Elaine! She is professional and has command over the business. She provided tremendous value throughout the planning process and made herself available by phone and in person for months leading up to the wedding. Elaine provided us with resources that helped to elevate our wedding experience through her connections. We are grateful to have found a beautiful, elegant venue with exquisite food and professional and highly competent leadership. Thank you Elaine!!!

We had the most incredible experience at our wedding venue, thanks in large part to our amazing coordinator, Elaine. The space was absolutely beautiful and the entire staff went above and beyond to make the day feel seamless. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but just before the ceremony, it began to rain. Elaine quickly stepped in and worked with our vendors to move everything indoors and somehow made it just as beautiful, if not more. I truly wouldn’t change a thing. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still raving about the late-night pizza, which was such a fun touch! Elaine was so thoughtful and attentive throughout the day. She even captured one of my favorite photos of us walking back up the aisle. We’re so grateful for such an unforgettable experience.

We were so thrilled with the Wyndham Newport at the Atlantic Resort as the site for our wedding reception. The staff, especially Elaine, were so organized and efficient with planning every step of the way. We truly did not have to worry about anything during the reception and were able to relax and enjoy the moment! The room and lighting were beautiful, and the staff were so professional and kind. Our guests really enjoyed the dinner options, and the late night pizza was definitely a hit! We cannot recommend this venue enough!

This past weekend was a fan fair of exceptional vendors, an extraordinary hotel, and a magical rehearsal dinner held at Wyndham Hotel in Newport. They have an incredible event coordinator named Chelsea who helped to take all my decor brought in from MD and strategically arranging them, along with our bartender and the chef who had to deal with 6-8 food allergies, creating an enchanting event for my now daughter-in-law and son Kelly and Zach Bowers. There was ochestration, of perfection, would highly recommend them for any occasion.
Along with Chelsea was the incredible Barbara Zammer, who was incredibly kind, empathic, encouraging, helpful and so kind to assist us in our family's multiple hiccups with debilitating & and complicated health issues. She did it with grace, decorum, care, and kindness which meant so much to us as we had not been on a vacation in multiple years and she made sure all our needs were met and then some, by embracing each one with heartfelt kindness. She helped both my husband and me as well as family and friends to enjoy the festivities for the weekend, creating an environment, that was both relaxing, fun, and serene going beyond what we expected making it an exceptional celebrated weekend, thank you to both!

The Atlantic Resort at Wyndham was the last venue we toured when selecting a location for our wedding. Let me tell you, I wish it were the first. It would’ve saved us a lot of gas and time. That’s how clear it was to us that the Atlantic Resort at Wyndham was going to be where we were getting married.

We knew we wanted a one-stop-shop; a place for the ceremony, reception, and for overnight accommodations. We also knew we wanted a location with a Newport vibe, without the Newport price. If you are looking for something similar, then this needs to be on your list of venues!

Elaine is the wedding event coordinator that we worked with throughout the process. When we first met Elaine, it was obvious that she was head and shoulders above the rest when it came to planning a wedding.

Elaine was flexible, responsive, available, and was able to provide great recommendations based on the type of wedding and the budget. We had our food tasting 5 months before our big day (April 12, 2024) which afforded us plenty of time to get the invitations out shortly after the winter holidays.

For the several weeks leading up to the event, we were in constant communication with Elaine. Elaine also served as the point person for all of our vendors as well. The night before our wedding day, we had our rehearsal. Elaine made sure everyone was comfortable leading to the big day.

Our ceremony was held indoors and went off without a single hiccup. The cocktail hour was perfect, guests had full plates and full drinks the entire time; the pasta bar was a massive hit!
Dinner was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended – both kids and adults! Guests were messaging us days and weeks later raving about both cocktail hour and the dinner!

The best part? We were able to leverage the pricing on their Winter Wedding Package. This helped us manage the cost tremendously. We were blessed to be working with a great team over at the Atlantic Resort. From the hotel staff to the reception staff, we were thankful we chose to get married here. We cannot thank everyone at the Wyndham Atlantic Resort enough, with the loudest shout out to Elaine!

A big reason we chose was the Wyndham for our wedding was because of the location and because most of our guests were coming out of town and could stay at the venue. An unexpected but huge benefit was that Elaine, the onsite event coordinator, has been in her role for decades and on top of absolutely everything. Elaine gracefully managed our opinionated families with professionalism and tact. She worked seamlessly with our vendors to ensure that our day went as smoothly as possible. On top of that, the Wyndham was beautiful and because they are so experienced in doing weddings they added a lot of thoughtful touches along the way.

The Wyndham and Elaine were incredibly professional and accommodating throughout this entire process. Elaine has basically seen it all and knows exactly what to do and when! As someone who struggles with delegation, I was extremely nervous that things wouldn’t go to plan, but I should have never doubted as everything went completely smooth and I didn’t have to worry about one thing. She even drove my parents to our offsite photos when they missed the bus!

She truly goes above and beyond for her clients to guarantee that it’s the best day of their lives and I can’t thank her and her staff enough I!

The venue is gorgeous and I highly recommend booking your wedding there. People are still raving about how great the food was!

We used the Atlantic Resort for our rehearsal luncheon for 36 people. We had the sunset room which was a private room overlooking the water. We had a private bar set up in the room. The food and service were amazing. Highly recommend the lobster rolls! Thank you to Elaine for making our vision come alive!

Elaine was our wedding coordinator and she made the day and experience so special and perfect! It was truly the best day of our lives and I would HIGHLY suggest this venue!
