Elegant Venue with Professional Staff

Elaine, our amazing Coordinator, flawlessly executed on My daughter’s wedding this weekend. I am truly grateful that we worked with Elaine! She is professional and has command over the business. She provided tremendous value throughout the planning process and made herself available by phone and in person for months leading up to the wedding. Elaine provided us with resources that helped to elevate our wedding experience through her connections. We are grateful to have found a beautiful, elegant venue with exquisite food and professional and highly competent leadership. Thank you Elaine!!!

Reherssal Dinner & a beautiful place to enjoy & relax for the Grooms Family & Friends too

This past weekend was a fan fair of exceptional vendors, an extraordinary hotel, and a magical rehearsal dinner held at Wyndham Hotel in Newport. They have an incredible event coordinator named Chelsea who helped to take all my decor brought in from MD and strategically arranging them, along with our bartender and the chef who had to deal with 6-8 food allergies, creating an enchanting event for my now daughter-in-law and son Kelly and Zach Bowers. There was ochestration, of perfection, would highly recommend them for any occasion.

She did it with grace, decorum, care, and kindness which meant so much to us as we had not been on a vacation in multiple years and she made sure all our needs were met and then some, by embracing each one with heartfelt kindness. She helped both my husband and me as well as family and friends to enjoy the festivities for the weekend, creating an environment, that was both relaxing, fun, and serene going beyond what we expected making it an exceptional celebrated weekend, thank you to both!

Wedding - April 12, 2024

The Atlantic Resort at Wyndham was the last venue we toured when selecting a location for our wedding. Let me tell you, I wish it were the first. It would’ve saved us a lot of gas and time. That’s how clear it was to us that the Atlantic Resort at Wyndham was going to be where we were getting married.

We knew we wanted a one-stop-shop; a place for the ceremony, reception, and for overnight accommodations. We also knew we wanted a location with a Newport vibe, without the Newport price. If you are looking for something similar, then this needs to be on your list of venues!

The Atlantic Resort at Wyndham was the last venue we toured when selecting a location for our wedding. Let me tell you, I wish it were the first. It would’ve saved us a lot of gas and time. That’s how clear it was to us that the Atlantic Resort at Wyndham was going to be where we were getting married.

We knew we wanted a one-stop-shop; a place for the ceremony, reception, and for overnight accommodations. We also knew we wanted a location with a Newport vibe, without the Newport price. If you are looking for something similar, then this needs to be on your list of venues!

Elaine is the wedding event coordinator that we worked with throughout the process. When we first met Elaine, it was obvious that she was head and shoulders above the rest when it came to planning a wedding.

Elaine was flexible, responsive, available, and was able to provide great recommendations based on the type of wedding and the budget. We had our food tasting 5 months before our big day (April 12, 2024) which afforded us plenty of time to get the invitations out shortly after the winter holidays.

For the several weeks leading up to the event, we were in constant communication with Elaine. Elaine also served as the point person for all of our vendors as well. The night before our wedding day, we had our rehearsal. Elaine made sure everyone was comfortable leading to the big day.

Our ceremony was held indoors and went off without a single hiccup. The cocktail hour was perfect, guests had full plates and full drinks the entire time; the pasta bar was a massive hit!
Dinner was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended – both kids and adults! Guests were messaging us days and weeks later raving about both cocktail hour and the dinner!

The best part? We were able to leverage the pricing on their Winter Wedding Package. This helped us manage the cost tremendously. We were blessed to be working with a great team over at the Atlantic Resort. From the hotel staff to the reception staff, we were thankful we chose to get married here. We cannot thank everyone at the Wyndham Atlantic Resort enough, with the loudest shout out to Elaine!

The Wyndham and Elaine were incredibly professional and accommodating throughout this entire process. Elaine has basically seen it all and knows exactly what to do and when! As someone who struggles with delegation, I was extremely nervous that things wouldn’t go to plan, but I should have never doubted as everything went completely smooth and I didn’t have to worry about one thing. She even drove my parents to our offsite photos when they missed the bus!

She truly goes above and beyond for her clients to guarantee that it’s the best day of their lives and I can’t thank her and her staff enough I!

The venue is gorgeous and I highly recommend booking your wedding there. People are still raving about how great the food was!

Lobster rolls with water views!

We used the Atlantic Resort for our rehearsal luncheon for 36 people. We had the sunset room which was a private room overlooking the water. We had a private bar set up in the room. The food and service were amazing. Highly recommend the lobster rolls! Thank you to Elaine for making our vision come alive!

Dream Wedding ACHIEVED ... during Covid!!

The Wyndham Newport went above and beyond our hopes and expectations for our wedding day. My husband and I were married in May 2022, towards the end of several intense Covid surges. The venue, of course, had to adhere by state/CDC guidelines but were ever gracious and kind throughout the planning. They met each of our requests, and put on an absolutely wonderful wedding celebration. The food was fantastic, and is still talked about by our guests to this day. Elaine and Susan are a dream team in the world of wedding coordination, and we were so lucky to have them with us through this experience, including the day of! We will always have a special place in our heart for the Atlantic Resort

Love in the time of Covid

I also sell weddings for a hotel and have for years, so I was certainly going to be a bit 'picky' when it came to who I was going to work with to plan our dream wedding during a pandemic and from out of state! I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with the Atlantic Resort and our amazing event super star, Chelsea! I also sell weddings for a hotel and have for years, so I was certainly going to be a bit 'picky' when it came to who I was going to work with to plan our dream wedding during a pandemic and from out of state! Chelsea was beyond the perfect person to work with! From the initial inquiry and building a proposal ASAP to outline what we would receive for our wedding, she gave my wonderful in-laws a tour of the venue while everyone face-timed us and answered every question we had. She was super accommodating when we had to postpone our tasting last minute, due to a possible COVID exposure. She answered every annoying question I sent her quickly, professionally, and personally. Chelsea also kept us very up to date on what restrictions were happening in Rhode Island and how they would affect our wedding. Unfortunately about 2 weeks prior to our wedding, we received the unfortunate news that dancing would be prohibited in Rhode Island and we would only be able to have our parent dances and first dance. Chelsea and the Banquet team were happy to accommodate our request for games in the ballroom in lieu of dancing and even put out additional games, so fun was still had by all!
The food was absolutely wonderful, our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was, perfectly temped filets (THE DREAM) and almost unheard of for a wedding! They were even able to accommodate our Milk and Cookie bar and made a giant cookie for us to cut instead of a cake!
Virginia with the hotel was also wonderful, we worked with her for our room block, she easily accommodated everyone and stayed abreast of the rates to ensure our guests were getting the best possible rate for our wedding weekend, again, amazing and thank you Virginia!
Truly, I could go on further, but thank you to Chelsea, Virginia, and the whole Atlantic Resort team for making our dream wedding come true!

Nothing short of PERFECT

We got married in November 2019 and worked with Chelsea throughout the entire process. Let me start off by saying, CHELSEA IS AMAZING. She was SO beyond helpful with absolutely every single aspect throughout the entire 1+ yr that we worked with her. The venue itself is beautiful of course. The food was great- no complaints from guests, and my husband said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. Truly could not recommend Atlantic Resort Newport more- especially if you are working with Chelsea!!

Our wedding was held at the Atlantic Resort on 07/29/2017 and it was absolutely incredible! Elan and her team made everything so easy and made sure the day was perfect. The food was incredible, all of my guests raved about the steak and that they were cooked to order! I highly recommend this venue.

Wonderful Venue

We were so thrilled with the Wyndham Newport at the Atlantic Resort as the site for our wedding reception. The staff, especially Elaine, were so organized and efficient with planning every step of the way. We truly did not have to worry about anything during the reception and were able to relax and enjoy the moment! The room and lighting were beautiful, and the staff were so professional and kind. Our guests really enjoyed the dinner options, and the late night pizza was definitely a hit! We cannot recommend this venue enough!

We couldn't be happier with this venue!

A big reason we chose was the Wyndham for our wedding was because of the location and because most of our guests were coming out of town and could stay at the venue. An unexpected but huge benefit was that Elaine, the onsite event coordinator, has been in her role for decades and on top of absolutely everything. Elaine gracefully managed our opinionated families with professionalism and tact. She worked seamlessly with our vendors to ensure that our day went as smoothly as possible. On top of that, the Wyndham was beautiful and because they are so experienced in doing weddings they added a lot of thoughtful touches along the way.

I had no sense of time once we got down to the ceremony, but she was always there to let us know what was happening next so we could properly prepare. We cannot recommend Elaine and Atlantic Resort enough!!! It is a beautiful venue both upstairs and downstairs. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside and had that beautiful backdrop. They properly staffed the bar which was very important to my husband who was a bartender for 10 years. We never saw anyone having to wait for a drink. It's definitely not for the lack of guests going up because they definitely made their trips with how they were feeling at the end of the night! Number one compliment we have gotten from our guests is how amazing the food was! Cocktail hour and dinner were phenomenal! Filet mignon was definitely the fan favorite! Guests said it was just melting in their mouths and one of the best they ever had. I honestly don't know what else I could say to have you choose here. I am just so glad I did.

The Atlantic Resort was the only wedding venue we looked at and we knew immediately it was the best choice for us. We loved that everything could take place on site and that our guests could stay over, not having to worry about transportation. The venue was decorated beautifully for Christmas with a gorgeous tree display outside the downstairs ballroom. A Perfect, Beautiful Wedding!!

We had our daughter's wedding at the Atlantic Resort on December 6, 2019. Everything went perfectly thanks to our coordinator Anna K! She was on top of every detail and so wonderful to work with! The venue is beautiful and the food was unbelievable! Filet mignon cooked to order! Johnny's Restaurant was also great and very convenient for all our guests. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!!!

Perfect venue!

We were looking for a venue that was modern and near the coast. Our event coordinator, Chelsea gave us a tour with a summary of the details and we knew it was the venue for our wedding day. She went above and beyond to help us through the planning process, including the setup of all of the final touches. The place is clean, well organized and the food was amazing. Truly a professional venue that made the wedding day experience phenomenal! Highly recommended!

My son and his beautiful new wife were married August 31, 2019 at The Atlantic Resort. Anna was the wedding day coordinator and she was amazing. From our first meeting, Anna was gracious, professional, and made my daughter-in-law feel like she was the only bride getting married in 2019. Wedding Reception at Atlantic Resort

On May 11, 2019, we celebrated our daughter's wedding with a reception at The Atlantic Resort in Middletown, RI. The second floor of the venue is extremely spacious and elegant. Their packages offer open bar, a variety of delicious hors d' oeuvres and entrees, a dessert table and after party pizza...all at an affordable price. Our event planner, Elaine, assisted us throughout our year of planning for this one important evening. She was great!...unbelievably helpful and patient. Everything went according to plan resulting in our perfect party. Several of our guests told us it was "the best wedding they had ever been to". Thank you Atlantic Resort for helping us give our daughter and her husband the wedding reception of their dreams.

Over the top!!! Starting with our event coordinator Anna who from the first time we met her we knew we were in good hands!!!

Anna is the BEST!!! She will make sure your wedding is perfection! We had a problem bustling my daughter's gown; she solved it! Had rehearsal dinner there also! We had the Sunset room ; it was great with a beautiful view! Food is the best!!! Every person we dealt with from front desk, waitstaff, bartenders, room block staff were the best helpful, always happy will go out of they're way to go over and above!!! Wish I had all they're names! Hotel is great! rooms, pool, food at Johnny's ! Brought decorations for the bridal suite and they gladly put it together for us while the reception was going on! Best Venue for Indian Fusion Weddings!!!

This venue was made for weddings! I am super picky when it comes to details and we must have looked at dozens of venues before seeing and deciding on the Atlantic Resort! We had a Hindu Jewish Fusion wedding here and could not have asked for a better venue to host all of the parties that come with that. We hosted a henna night, sangeet, 2 ceremonies, a luncheon, baraat, cocktail hour, reception and brunch onsite and everything went sooo smoothly! It was super important for our venue to have a onsite accommodations so having the hotel was so amazing and convenient not to mention the rooms were all up to date and so clean/modern. This venue doesn't overcharge...

This venue doesn't overcharge for dumb things like linens, chiavari chairs, cake cutting, etc. but really works with you and your budget to have the most amazing time of your lives. Indian weddings can be super stressful with all the events going on but our coordinator Anna helped make sure everything went so smoothly! We were in constant contact with her leading up to the wedding and she ensured that we were taken care of throughout the day especially. It was also so important to us to be able to bring in Indian food since a lot of venues don't allow this and she worked so well with our caterer to set up everything and ensure it was what we wanted. The food from Atlantic was very tasty too which is rare for a wedding venue! We were able to host our brunch in the top ballroom and re-used centerpieces and reserved the cake from the reception so it turned out so beautiful!! We received SO many compliments on the amazing space and especially want to thank Anna and her team for making all of our events go so smoothly so that we could have the time of our lives!!
