I can believe how beautiful and perfect my wedding was thanks to the amazing staff they really made it our best day ever and the reserve was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful

We had our rehearsal dinner at Sardella's in May 2018. We had to change the time of our reservations on a few instances but Patrick was able accommodate without any issues. We only had 16 people at our rehearsal dinner so we didn't book a private room. Patrick set us up at a semi-private table and it seemed as though we had a private room. Our waiter Matt did such a great job with the entire party and all food came out at the same time. All of our guests raved about how delicious everything was - from the appetizers and drinks to the entrees! You won't be disappointed here!

We did not do a traditional wedding reception and they worked with us the whole time to make it exactly what we wanted. We booked with them from 12-4PM, we did appetizers, desserts and drinks, and we did a one hour open bar. We are so grateful for the team at Merrill’s for everything they did to make our wedding celebration special. Everything looked perfect, and the food and service was amazing. Our guests were very happy and kept complimenting the food and the signature drink. It was such a pleasure to work with Victoria throughout this whole process. It was easy to work with her and the communication was always quick and easy.

We had our reception at the Coast Guard House. The location is amazing with excellent views. Every table in the place has an ocean view. The downstairs room is beautiful and there is great outside space as well. We worked with Maria and she was so easy to work with and helpful. She made sure everything went the way I planed. From setting up all the tables with my center pieces, table numbers and favors. To packing stuff up after the reception for me to bring home. She was great about checking in with me, my parents and my aunt who was assigned to be a go to person. The food was great and all my guests talked about how excellent the location and my food were.

My fiancé and I go to Newport at least twice a month in the summer and we go to Brick Alley for lunch every single time. It is our favorite place. The bar is great, the decor is awesome and the food and drinks are incredible. Everyone is so friendly. We will continue to come here every time we’re in Newport

We hosted our wedding reception at Waterman Grille in September 2022, in the Riverview Room. It was the best! The ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the staff were the best we could have hoped for. They helped us plan our ideal evening and were flexible with how we wanted to handle our drink menu. We got so much good feedback from our guests about the delicious food! Staff were welcoming, polite, and so accommodating. We highly recommend Waterman Grille for events, including wedding receptions.

Food was excellent! Loved my waitress Angie! She was very attentive and quick ! Excellent customer service I loved the family style chicken and the salad ! Great would come back !

My family has known Ronnie and Paula for years and, along with their staff, they made our wedding amazing. We met with Ronnie and Paula a few times throughout our planning process to decide our appetizers, courses, and all the details of the event. Ronnie is truly a creative chef and is willing to try anything. For our wedding, Ronnie made sure to make food that worked well with the winter season. We had warm, comforting appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta and squash soup in shot glasses), a refreshing winter salad (argula + spinach with sliced pear, feta cheese, and homemade strawberry vinaigrette) and delicious dinner of black currant and rum chicken with garlic mashed potatoes (amazing) and fresh green beans. The food at our wedding made a great impression on our guests, and I have never been so full! Also, my father has special dietary needs and wasn't able to eat the appetizers that we selected, but Ronnie made sure to make an entire tray of altered appetizers so he could enjoy them along with our guests. The head waitress Krystin was equally amazing to work with. Krystin was on top of all the details and she and Paula definitely acted as wedding planners. They were always available via phone or email to answer any questions I had, and they went above and beyond working with our reception site to make sure the day went smoothly. The head bartender Pat was also really creative and flexible and worked with my husband to create a great presentation and some delicious drinks! I cannot say enough positive things about all the work that everyone at Uncle Ronnie's Catering did for us to make our wedding day spectacular.

Cap’n Jacks, a well know Southern RI restaurant, is a great place to grab a lobster roll for lunch, or enjoy a great dinner with the entire family. But they also make some of the best desserts known to man. This is what led us to inquire about Cap’n Jacks making our wedding cake, and luckily we were able to contract with the baker to make a cake for our wedding. It turned out perfect, it was exactly what we wanted, and unlike some other wedding cakes we’ve had, this one actually tasted good too! Truly a great experience, and the staff at Cap’n Jacks is an absolute joy to work with! Highly recommended!

We recently held a wedding celebration at Spain of Narragansett. The food was delicious and the service was beyond reproach. They were easy to work with, accommodating and delivered as promised. We received many compliments from our guests. We would highly recommend this venue.
