We had our reception at the Coast Guard House. The location is amazing with excellent views. Every table in the place has an ocean view. The downstairs room is beautiful and there is great outside space as well. We worked with Maria and she was so easy to work with and helpful. She made sure everything went the way I planed. From setting up all the tables with my center pieces, table numbers and favors. To packing stuff up after the reception for me to bring home. She was great about checking in with me, my parents and my aunt who was assigned to be a go to person. The food was great and all my guests talked about how excellent the location and my food were.

The Coast Guard House was a beautiful place. It was like having my wedding on the ocean without the motion sickness. My problem was that because my wedding planner was let go and replaced about a month after I booked the place and renovations were being done up until the moment we took our vows and beyond, nothing I had planned with her was given to the new guy. When I booked the place, there was no charge above the food so it ended up being like taking out 100 of our friends for dinner to celebrate our special day.

The place was gorgeous, except they weren't done with the renovations, they weren't even technically open for business and if people actually looked around they would have noticed. Plus the day before the wedding, when I dropped off the frame for people to sign and the gifts for attendees, the people working there still didn't have it clear that I was getting married in front of the fireplace in the bar area. They actually asked me, "So where are you having the ceremony?" "RIGHT HERE," I responded.
