Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the service was flawless. The staff took care of every detail with such warmth and professionalism, making us feel so well cared for the entire time. Our guests were in absolute awe of the team - the level of attentiveness and hospitality left everyone raving. Between the incredible food, the seamless service, and the beautiful setting, we truly couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding.

Jessica was able to work with us for our budget needs and was so flexible with us. She was available to answer any questions we had and stepped up above and beyond to make our day perfect. The staff was amazing and very attentive

Obviously, the ballroom is GORGEOUS. I guarantee you will not find a single venue as classy, artistic, memorable, historic, and just beautiful anywhere else in the Chicagoland area, ESPECIALLY not for such a great price! The food was also some of the most delicious banquet food I've ever had! Staff was all excellent, from the wait staff and chef, to Karen the coordinator for rooms and other things you might need, to the security guards even. But of course our wedding coordinator, Ruthie, was the highlight of the show. She answered calls and texts at every hour of every day and made sure that we were taken care of always! Ruthie went above and beyond so many times--from finding little decorations to help make our day look even nicer, to coordinating with all the staff and making sure every little request was granted. She acted as our day-of coordinator, too, staying until the early hours of the morning to make sure we were 1000% taken care of, even though I'm sure that is NOT in her job description! Thank you, Ruthie for everything you've done to make our day so special! And thank you to the entire Congress Plaza staff for a drop-dead gorgeous wedding venue and friendly, helpful attitudes that made our wedding one that I'm sure nobody will stop talking about for years!

Five stars is not high enough for The Drake Hotel Chicago! Every aspect of my daughter’s wedding planning and celebration was truly extraordinary. Within minutes of meeting our main contact, Sydney Waclawik, we knew we were in the best hands. From the first planning meeting to the final moments of the wedding day, Sydney was a steady, knowledgeable, and reassuring presence. Her professionalism, organization, and attention to detail were unmatched. Her fabulous support team of Sonya Ward and Shalinee Abraham assisted in seeing that all of our needs were met and executed flawlessly. Sydney and her team truly listened to my daughter’s vision and brought it to life with care and precision. They worked seamlessly with our vendors, ensuring everything went smoothly. Sharon Johnson, the Director of Reservations, made the guest room block process effortless, with prompt responses, clear communication, and kindness. The historic French Room set a stunning stage for the cocktail hour, and the timeless beauty of The Gold Coast Room wowed our guests as the reception venue. Unique traditions like The Drake’s renowned Bookbinders soup and the celebratory champagne parade added memorable wow factors that our guests are still talking about. The cuisine was extraordinary—every dish was delicious, artfully presented, and served with impeccable care. Under the direction of Georges, the Director of Banquets who oversaw the setup, the Banquet Captains Jorge and Lino delivered a dining experience that exceeded all expectations, making every guest feel celebrated. The guest rooms were spacious, immaculate, and luxurious. Floyd, the bellhop, was always on hand with a friendly smile and efficient service, further enhancing our experience. From start to finish, the entire team at The Drake Hotel was impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or team to host this special occasion. Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding a dream come true!

This venue is gorgeous and gives fairytale beauty and the beast ballroom vibes! Staff is so friendly and work with your budget. They are so accommodating and help every step of the way!

Going through wedding planning during a pandemic and rescheduling your wedding can be very difficult. Having Calix as my go to person for all my updates and questions made me feel so much better. He was always there offering a solution when I had any problem or concern. I would highly reccomend Hyatt Regency Schaumburg soley based off of the employees alone. They were all very polite and professional as well. The rooms were very clean, the lobby is amazing for pictures, and we had so so many compliments on how great the food was and how big the steaks were. Some even said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!

I absolutely Love Illinois State Beach so when I was choosing a wedding venue Illinois Beach Hotel was at the top of my list. The property is beautiful and all my guests, out of town or not that wanted to stay the night after the wedding were welcome to do so. We also have a wonderful brunch in the restaurant the following morning. It just made sense for us, as well as it being so close to Wisconsin for half of our wedding party. Kellie was amazing to work with and went out of her way to make sure everything went perfectly for our big day. We were very happy with our wedding on the beach and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an elegant beach wedding

The Carleton was an absolutely beautiful venue that also knew the local vendors we worked with. Not only were they gracious with our multiple covid-related reschedulings, they were able to seamlessly coordinate logistics with Sugar Fixe & Westgate Flowers, even our DJ team Remix entertainment who were from further out in the suburbs. They made the entire night seamless, free from concern, and accommodated all of our guests. The culinary team provided some of the best food any of our guests had at a wedding (real steak!). We'd also like to thank the bar tenders who nailed our wedding drink down to even the more obscure ingredients and made sure everyone enjoyed it. We highly recommend the hotel not only for its cute, vintage atmosphere & comfy rooms but also for the incredibly personable staff who were there to make our special day one of the easiest & happiest days.

We had our wedding on May 13, 2017 and it really was our dream wedding. The location was great. The food was delicious. The room was beautiful. The weather was perfect and we were able to have our cocktail hour on the river walk, which guests love. It has been 6 weeks and we continue to get compliments on how great the food was. Katya was wonderful to work with every step of the way. She was very responsive and helped make our dream wedding a reality!

My Wedding was perfect. Lovely sunny day by the Gazebo with cocktail and reception to follow. The drinks and food were great. I had no complaints from anyone. My cake was even delicious and you order it with the hotel package that was offered. My wedding suite was spacious and comfortable. I could look down from my room and see everyone arrive. Khullod the coordinator was awesome and kudos to the chef for making my food just like I wanted it.
