After getting engaged in the South, we dreamed of a "Lowcountry Elegance" wedding, complete with a Southern-inspired menu and lush, verdant surroundings. From the moment we approached the property and saw the beautifully manicured greens against the ivy-clad, English cottage-style architecture, we knew we had found a special place. The interior is equally breathtaking; the dark wood accents and floor-to-ceiling ballroom windows bring the outside in, perfectly echoing the atmosphere of Palmetto Bluff - the place we were engaged. It provided a rare sense of intimacy for our 150 guests while maintaining a grand, storybook feel. As luxury hospitality professionals ourselves, we have exceptionally high standards for service and organization. The "Dream Team"—Laurie, Leeza, Stacie, and Chef John—exceeded every one of them. They operate with a "family-feel" synergy, providing impeccable follow-through and seamless communication that is hard to find. They didn't just listen to our vision; they embraced it. Chef John even curated a bespoke Southern menu just for us, hitting every mark from the crab cakes to the jalapeño cornbread. (A testament to his talent: our Southern Georgia Peach Caprese salad even made it to the official menu at the Oak Terrace Grill—it is a must-try!) Planning a wedding is inherently stressful, but working with a team this organized and genuinely kind gave us a profound sense of relief. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we booked our November wedding, we were blown away by the beauty of the space! The window views were great and created the most romantic atmosphere. The venue provided stunning backdrops in every direction, making our day feel truly special and unforgettable. The wedding packages offered incredible value and Evan and the team made the entire planning process so much easier. Everything was well-organized, transparent, and worth every penny, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our celebration knowing we were in great hands.

The team at the Bolingbrook Golf Club are so professional and welcoming. The staff took care of all the details and made it stress free on us!

I cannot even thank Jennifer enough. She has been INCREDIBLE and extremely accommodating. She’s also very easy to talk to and promptly responded to every single one of my emails. By choice I postponed my wedding twice and Jennifer made the changes very smooth. She remembered many little details that I mentioned about my wedding even though she’s currently working with so many other brides. I’ve absolutely loved working with Jennifer and HIGHLY recommend booking Bridges of Poplar Creek.

Working with Itasca Country Club was overall a wonderful experience! The food was the biggest selling point and it was incredible. There were. Few wonky moments in that during our 1.5 years of planning the wedding, our point of contact changed 3 times without notice and we had to go over everything again. This was especially stressful at the 3 month mark when we learned our point of contact and day of person changed again. With that being said, each point of contact was fabulous and helpful and Jamie, who we worked with the last 2-3 months, was so sweet and helpful while trying to catch up on everything. The venue staff on the day of were so wonderful and helpful so I would absolutely recommend Itasca Country Club to others!

I can’t say enough about St. Andrew’s!! Everything was beyond exceptional! We chose St. A’s for its outdoor ceremony location and beautiful ballroom but another big sell was all the reviews I read about their coordinator, Kim Bruscato. There are a ton of reviews raving about how amazing she is and she did not disappoint. Not only did she meet our every need, she went above and beyond to make our planning as smooth as possible. Kim is THE person you want to have on your team, especially for wedding day!! I could go on but she’s simply the best. Throughout wedding planning, my husband and I continuously said how thankful we were that we found St. Andrew’s and Kim. Best decision we made and we’ll forever be thankful!!!

Hello, Just wanted to compliment and thank you for an amazing wedding ceremony and reception. Bernadette, you were very helpful before the day, as you answered questions, guided and made sure everything was in place. You did a great job during the rehearsal dinner, providing assistance, guidance and instructions as to how we process down to the ceremony. To the Chefs, Wait Staff and Bartenders. First the food was AMAZING, the steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. The Salmon and Chicken also were delicious. Everyone commented, how great the food was and that is was hot and delivered in a timely manner. The staff was very accommodating and worked really hard to make this a celebration to remember. I will highly recommend, to anyone I speak to, White Pines Golf Club is a great venue to celebrate any occasion. Thank you again for all your work. Mary Elena's mom :)

From the moment we arrived for our first meeting with Sara this past Thursday, we knew Boulder Ridge was special. Waiting for us at the entrance was a beautiful welcome sign congratulating us on our engagement. This was such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch that immediately set the tone for our visit. We were completely taken by the stunning outdoor spaces. The grounds are picture-perfect and had us sold before we ever saw the banquet space. Sara was everything you could hope for in a Private Event Director -- warm, welcoming, patient, and genuinely invested in our vision. She answered every question with care, offered creative ideas, and explained all the options available. We never felt rushed despite her other appointments. She made us feel like our wedding was her top priority. After viewing the banquet rooms, we were captivated by the endless possibilities. We’re praying for beautiful weather so we can hold our ceremony outdoors, but it is such a comfort knowing there’s an equally gorgeous indoor option ready if needed. We loved our experience so much that we returned two days later and said "Yes" to Boulder Ridge. Sara's attention to many details and genuine excitement for our wedding made our decision an easy one. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breathtaking scenery, true flexibility, and a Director who truly cares, Boulder Ridge is your place for your special day.

I would like to thank Pam S/Kiley F and the entire staff at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club for making my Niece’s wedding rehearsal dinner amazing. Every detail that was planned was done perfectly. Very courteous and hospitable from the moment we arrived. Views from the banquet room overlooking the golf course were stunning. The tables in the room had beautiful centerpieces and candles. Chivalry chairs added to elegant setup. Dinner was 5 star elegance, delicious perfectly grilled Filet mignon very tender excellent quality. Chefs kiss! We were able to get beautiful pictures through out the event. Thank you Jim you are the sweetest in bringing the golf cart around to take the entire bridal party to get photos. Everyone at Ruffled Feathers Golf went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend anyone to host any special event big or small. Thank you to the entire staff at Ruffled Feathers golf club. You all did a wonderful job and we appreciated your hospitality and kindness throughout the event.

Could not have been happier with our experience! Our wedding was 11/26/16 so we moved everything to earlier in the day order to have some sunlight left. It was gorgeous. We went with the ceiling lighting and I would highly highly recommend doing that as it warms up the whole room. Food and staff were absolutely amazing. We had about 200 people. It felt cozy and welcoming but not too crowded. Ashley and Erin worked with me over email and in person leading up to the wedding to answer all my questions, offer suggestions, etc. We had a little snafu with the placecards and they were able to adjust and make things go smoothly so people barely noticed. We had an absolute blast and would highly recommend this venue!
