The Chevy Chase Country Club is a country club wedding venue situated in Wheeling, Illinois. Originally built in 1927, this charming location features timeless Tudor-style construction with historical ties to Prohibition-era Illinois. It offers various celebration options to choose from, including elegant indoor spaces and an outdoor stone terrace with stunning views of the surrounding greenery. For added convenience, it is also located just an hour outside Chicago and is approximately a 35-minute drive from O’Hare International Airport.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples who wish to host a larger ceremony or reception for up to 500 guests should consider the grand ballroom, featuring a classing 1920s decorative scheme. It offers a 5,000-square-foot hardwood dance floor, integrated art, sound, and lighting systems, and a staging area for your celebration entertainment. For added convenience, the ballroom also has its own private entrance, complete with a private bridal suite upstairs. For your cocktail hour, guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres in the Abbey, which contains vaulted ceilings and a vintage aged-wood bar. The Devonshire Room can accommodate up to 230 guests, and also allows access to the 1,200-square-foot patio overlooking the venue’s golf course. Couples using this room also have use of a private bar and portable dance floor, and the Devon Foyer, featuring seating, bar, and greeting areas.

Their catering and service team can provide assistance with a number of culinary necessities, including wedding cake design and cake cutting service. Each inside event space boasts multimedia capabilities such as drop-down projection screens, wireless handheld, and lapel microphones, and LED TVs.
