Great wedding venue in northwest suburbs

As a wedding planner, working with reliable vendors is what makes the special day successful. The staff of Tammy, Adrian, and Freddy are great to work with because they are so accommodating. They have great attention to detail and are willing to work with you in any way. The venue has a timeless look and gives you a private experience for your guests. There is great value in the experience. I would highly recommend Chevy Chase to any of my clients!

Freddy + Adrian, the Duo You Need

I was brought on last minute as the month-of coordinator for a couple who had most of their plans already in place. While there were a few logistical and communication hiccups with the planning team leading up to the big day, Freddy and Adrian completely turned things around as a new point of contact. They were impeccably dressed, incredibly hands-on, and ready to jump in wherever needed to ensure a seamless wedding day.

From troubleshooting behind the scenes to collaborating with ease, this duo was always nearby, quick to respond, and solution-oriented. I truly wish every venue had a Freddy and Adrian—they made all the difference. Thank you both for your professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to making the day a success!

Absolutely Amazing Venue

From the very start of working with Chevy Chase, we knew that we were going to have an amazing venue. Tammy was so accommodating and responsive- she really makes sure you feel prepared for your wedding day. We were in the Grand ballroom which is absolutely stunning (love the 1930s bar!) and our guests loved being able to go on the Patio during our reception. Something our guests raved about is the food (which you never hear about from weddings!). Freddie and Adrian were MVPs on the day of our wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend renting the bridal suite the day of your wedding. I do not have enough great things to say about Chevy Chase and the grounds are stunning for pictures. The whole staff is amazing!

Amazing venue!!

We had our Nov 2023 at Chevy Chase. It was actually the first venue we toured and we were floored with everything that was included with the package - aka the most perfect wedding reception package EVER! They did not miss a detail. The whole night was incredible. We were in the Grand Ballroom, which has an amazing set-up for both cocktail hour and the reception with an added outdoor patio. Everyone RAVED about the food the next day and our event manager Adrian attended to our every need. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Amazing venue!

Chevy Chase Country Club was wonderful!! The staff was so kind and attentive; our coordinator Miguel was very easy to work with - he and his staff helped set up the room according to our vision and even brought us drinks and appetizers to our table because we were so busy during cocktail hour. The grounds are beautiful and the Devonshire room is as well. Everything went so smoothly and they really did a great job!

Very happy with Chevy Chase!

I am so happy I chose Chevy Chase as the venue for my wedding. The team at Chevy Chase (Kim, Miguel, Freddy, etc.) went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life. The package included great food, quality alcohol, beautiful decor, and they helped coordinate a delicious cake from Lovin' Oven. Their services even included help with day-of setting up and coordinating. Truly an exceptional experience. Cannot thank the team at Chevy Chase enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding!

Unforgettable day!

Our wedding at Chevy Chase was incredible! We booked the Grand Ballroom which was so spacious and absolutely stunning. The whole team was very helpful, supportive & accommodating through the whole planning process. Kim was our main contact and she did an outstanding job, our big day would not have been what it was without her. Tammy, Pam, Jan & Adrian from the team were wonderful and jumped in and helped at various points as well. We are very grateful to have gotten the chance to work with such amazing, caring people and we are so happy that this was the venue we selected. It was a marvelous day and we are still getting regular calls/ messages from our guests on how spectacular our wedding was at Chevy Chase!!

The perfect venue for our 300+ wedding reception!

Chevy Chase was an incredible partner to host our wedding reception. Their sales team was so accommodating through all our rescheduled wedding dates due to the pandemic. Jan & her team were so organized and made sure all of our specific requests were accounted for. Tammy and her day-of team made sure everything ran smoothly. The Chef prepared everything perfectly and everyone's dinner came out hot! We received many complements on the waitstaff, and some guests even mentioning that the bartenders were the most efficient and attentive that they had ever seen at a wedding! We could not have asked for anything more from the whole Chevy Chase team!

Perfect Venue for a Wedding

The staff at Chevy Chase made our wedding day entirely about us. They had all items set up and laid out exactly how we requested, worked with us on food/beverage options, and checked in with us during the wedding multiple times to ensure it was perfect. Wonderful venue

Our wedding was a dream. The staff was well prepared, knowledgeable on cultural differences, super nice and friendly from the moment we start preparing for event until the special day. We had here both our ceremony and reception, all so convenient - they have beautiful outdoor places, close to entrance in the ballroom, which has large windows with a great view to the juicy green golf field. Another great feature was the patio outside the ballroom. They offer delicious food options - huge thank you to the chef! We were expecting our wedding may cost us more, however prices were pretty down to earth, especially for Cook C. Wedding Cake was included in our package, we met with Lovin Oven Cakery and chose from many options - an awesome looking and good tasting cake for our celebration. Decor was hired individually, but Chevy Chase also offers many support equipment for decorations (special tables, candles, table cloth, colorful napkins, colorful chair covers etc), they are well equipped. We truly appreciate our experience with Tammy Velkova, Kelsi Stephenson, and Annie Ojeda, they helped us make our wedding day special!

Chevy Chase was the first wedding venue we visited. We went on to visit 5 others, but we kept coming back to Chevy Chase as our number 1. We are so glad we chose this venue—we had the perfect wedding there on 6/11/22. We chose the Devonshire room which was perfect for 135 guests. We had the indoor wedding and they did a great job of transforming it into a dancing hall during cocktail hour. The staff was professional and accommodating. The bride has many food allergies, including celiac disease. The chef made sure to not cross contaminate any of the food and she loved the food—with no allergic reactions! We had enchanted evening as the DJ, per their recommendation, and the music was just what we wanted: A perfect mix for everyone. We had such a good time, and all of our guests loved the venue. If you're on the fence about this venue, go for it! You won't be disappointed :

Best wedding ever!!

My new husband and I are beyond happy with our choice to have our wedding and reception at Chevy Chase. Of course it rained but the staff was super accommodating and it was a beautiful service in side. Our guests are still talking about how great out filet and champagne chicken was. Their chef is top notch. We worked with Sarah, Ana, and Peter. They were knowledgeable, professional, and fun. They helped us with all of my needs. Peter was amazing on the day of. He helped with everything that was needed and even jumped in when the bridal party dropped the ball. We would highly recommend their services and this location and we have.

Updated, Clean, Professional

We recently hosted our wedding in the Devonshire Room at Chevy Chase Country Club and it was everything we could have wished for. When we first walked into Chevy Chase while looking for a venue I thought I would never be able to afford such an updated, clean, professional place, but their pricing was such a wonderful surprise. Everything is broken down to make it easy to understand what you are actually paying for. We had to post-pone our wedding twice and they were very accommodating and responsive in helping us find new dates and answering our over abundance of questions. We mainly worked with Sarah, who sadly took a role at another company right before our wedding, but she was so patient, honest, and understanding with us. With switching event coordinator's so close to our date, there was some confusion, but when it came to the day of our wedding everything went by so smoothly. Their team really pulled it all together for us and it was a stress free day to say the least. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food. Every entre option was delicious which made it really hard to choose what we wanted to eat on the day of our wedding. Our day was nothing short of perfect for us, and I would absolutely recommend having your event at Chevy Chase.

Book it, you won't regret it!

Chevy Chase Country Club was exactly what we were looking for in a venue- elegant, simply beautiful, amazing service and delicious food. We worked with Kim for our planning and she was beyond supportive, kind and so responsive to all of our questions! Peter was our day of coordinator and we enjoyed meeting with him several days before the wedding to check in on the status of our event. On the evening of the wedding, Peter was wonderful. He was so supportive and rushed around to make sure our needs were met. The staff were beyond wonderful and Adolfo and his chefs were spectacular. We have many "foodies" in our family and everyone was beyond satisfied with all the food options. We will definitely be interested in hosting other gatherings at Chevy Chase in the future. Would highly recommend booking your special day at Chevy Chase!

Most perfect wedding venue

You do NOT need to look further for a wedding reception venue. Chevy Chase IS the place.

My husband and I chose to have our wedding reception at the Chevy Chase Country Club ,(Devonshire Room) on August 20, 2021.

We couldn't be happier with our selection. The staff at Chevy Chase and the food was out of this world!

The grounds and venue were gorgeous and very well maintained.

Chevy Chase even goes out of their way to greet the bridal party with champagne, appetizers, and cheese board after the ceremony.

The staff was always professional, helpful, and accommodating. Everything was set up perfectly.

Our guests are still raving about the food! It really was the best good we've ever had at a wedding.

Gorgeous venue, delicious food, excellent staff

We booked Chevy Chase back in July 2019 for our (originally scheduled) September 2020 wedding. Once we realized we were going to have to postpone due to Covid, the staff was very helpful and worked with us to pick a new date. My now husband and I still wanted to get married on our original date and we were able to use the patio for a short and sweet ceremony with just a handful of people.

Once Illinois began to reopen, Kim and Sarah were quick to help us get the planning process started again. We were easily able to pick back up where we left off the year before.

The day of the wedding was perfect in every way! Peter worked seamlessly with our planner to make sure everything was exactly as we envisioned. Our guests continue to tell us about how delicious the food was and how absolutely gorgeous the Devonshire room was!

Chevy Chase was the first venue we toured after we got engaged and though other venues were nice, they all got the same “it’s just not Chevy Chase” response. Not only was it the most beautiful venue with the gorgeous wood floors (I hate the usual ugly hotel ballroom carpets at most venues) and SO many windows offering incredible views of the golf course, but Chevy Chase was very reasonably priced and included many things in their package that others did not (nicer chairs, better alcohol selections, etc.).

Thanks to the whole Chevy Chase team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of (twice!)

A wedding 3 years in the making! A covid postponement with a happy ending!

Our wedding with Chevy Chase was THREE years in the making!

We first met with Kim Merwin the summer of 2018. It was our first venue tour but my heart KNEW it was the one! After touring other venues, we came back to Chevy Chase and solidified our spring 2020 wedding date.

Kim was attentive, answered this crazy bride's multiple questions and emails, and as the day approached, set up our tasting and final planning meeting.

Our tasting was AMAZING. Peter walked us through the menu, THE FOOD = heaven. We knew we were in great hands with Kim. And with the food, we knew our guests would fall in love with Chevy like we did!

Our 2020 wedding, like most, was postponed. And Kim was there to help in those first few weeks as we worked to come up with a plan and pick up the pieces. When she was laid off, we were devastated. My biggest advice to Chevy Chase and the park district is to never lay off these wonderful ladies again! They KNOW how to manage brides expectations and keep it all organized! A general manager just doesn't have what it takes!

Sarah Leifker became our new go to, and proved to be an amazing resource. So put together, knowledgeable, helpful! We met with her for our final planning meeting and stayed in touch throughout because of course more and more questions ,especially with the phase guidelines.

When our late night snack vendor fell through mere days prior, Sarah was on it and we had solidified our pizza order with her within minutes of calling her!

The day was perfect, we had the beautiful bridal suite with bubbly and snacks. The grounds make the best backdrop! And I can't stress this part enough.... OUR GUESTS HAVEN'T STOPPED RAVING, YOU GUYS! The food = Chef's Kiss. The drinks BEST AROUND. The egg rolls during cocktail hour? Devoured!!

Peter and his team were so attentive to Ricky and I. Kept our meals warm while we tended to our guests and stepped away for some photos at sunset, checking in on us for drinks and making sure all was going as scheduled.

My only regret is not having asked the team to set some apps aside for us upstairs so we could munch between photo ops!

Sarah, Kim, Peter, Miahi, the bartenders, staff, YOU'RE AMAZING. Thank you for helping us have the wedding of our dreams. Our guests left full and happy, our memories of the day = perfection, you helped this Covid bride go from tears to joy!

Great service, great value, & beautiful venue!

Although my fiance and I made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding at Chevy Chase due to COVID restrictions, they were nothing but the BEST to us. The entire planning process was extremely easy and the staff was extremely helpful. The Devonshire is absolutely beautiful and modern. I will always recommend Chevy Chase 100%.

Couldn't ask for a better day!

Our wedding day could not have been more of a dream. Planning with Kim and Jan was a great experience. Kim was extremely responsive and supportive through the entire process, I couldn't be more thankful for her! My husband and I both live in Chicago and are from the south suburbs and we opted for this northside venue and we have zero regrets. From the first day we walked in we fell in love with the space. We chose the Devonshire room for our ceremony and reception for our February wedding. The inclusiveness of the package made planning for the day so easy. From the beginning you are 100% aware of all the costs and there were no last minute surprises. The food was amazing, the bar package was extensive, our guests enjoyed the wine on the table during dinner, and the cake was delicious. The time you are given for a wedding ceremony here was perfect, we did not need to coordinate an after party anywhere as our wedding went until 12:30. We had late night food served which people raved about as well! I would confirm the use of the bridal suite prior and the day of. That was the only hiccup of the day. We were told we had access to the bridal suite to get ready in that morning/afternoon. I chose to get hair and makeup done at the hotel and get dressed at the venue. When my cousin arrived to steam my dress prior to my arrival, and after my arrival, the bridal suite was being used by the event that was booked the morning of my wedding day. All in all it worked out but that would be my only suggestion. We were able to take pictures on the golf course (which turned out amazing)! I recommend Chevy Chase to everyone!

July 2019 wedding

We had our wedding in July 2019 in the Devonshire room at CCCC. We worked with Kelsi initially and then Jan for the remainder of the planning, The constant communication and quick responses to our emails was much appreciated. They made us feel like we were the only wedding happening at the venue which was extremely comforting and helped with knowing that the littlest details were being taken care of and eliminated pre wedding stress. Our ceremony was initially supposed to be outside but at the last minute, thanks to mother nature, had to be set up inside. Peter and his team were excellent with handling this change and making sure that everything was executed flawlessly. I was concerned about ceremony doors that I had purchased to be staked outside in the lawn and they went above and beyond to find a solution and incorporate them in the ceremony set up. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments! The bartending staff was unlike any that I have seen at previous weddings. They were truly there to serve and absolute rockstars. They were quick and kind and paid attention to the guests and their needs. Overall, we have heard and firmly believe that our wedding exceeded every expectation and that is thanks to Chevy Chase Country Club and their staff. We highly recommend this venue!

Gorgeous Country Club!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about CCCC. First off, the grounds are beautiful and the layout is very spacious. The staff is super helpful and are quick to answer all our questions. Kelsi showed us the Grand Ballroom and we automatically knew this was our venue. Jan was awesome at walking us through the whole process and she was very reassuring. She goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. Nate was our event manager for the night of and his friendly server team were quick to set up. Our guests raved how gorgeous our ceremony and reception were. Our night went smoothly and the food was great. Our guests loved the horseshoe bar and the liquor package. We had the best day and would choose CCCC over again.

A Magical Venue

We cannot rave enough about Chevy Chase and all of the people that made our son and daughter-in-laws wedding perfect for them. We first met with Jan, the event sales manager who explained all of the available options and helped us to work within our budget. She was so very helpful and kind. She really took a personal interest and wanted the wedding to be exactly what our kids wanted. We chose the Ballroom Outdoor Patio for the ceremony under the arbor, which was beautiful and the Devonshire Room with its picturesque view for the reception. Jan went out of her way and should be commended for her exemplary job.
Meredith was also very helpful. She did the fine tuning of our contract and the time line for the wedding. She was always available to answer my many questions. She made suggestions and she was very patient and responded promptly. She dealt with a lot of the last minute things and was great.
Nate was the coordinator who made sure everything was going as planned. He was there to help with the rehearsal the day before the wedding. The day of the wedding, he ran the show.
He was so professional and conscientious and really invested himself in the wedding and made sure all of our requests were met. He worked very hard and was phenomenal.
This wedding was a success because of these three people and we are so thankful. We got such positive feedback from our guests. I think my daughter-in-law summed it up the best. She said she was so happy we chose Chevy Chase and everything was beyond perfect. She said she's still reliving the memories, and she will for the rest of her life. It was truly magical!

Fantastic!

Chevy Chase Country Club was the ideal venue for our wedding. The personnel at the country club worked with us from day one to help us make our dream wedding a reality. Meredith was our main point of contact and assisted us every step of the way. The venue had so many additional features that allowed us to take unique photos on the day of the wedding and get ready in style. Our ceremony took place on the patio area and looked absolutely gorgeous. The reception was in the Devonshire Room that allowed for plenty of room for dancing and room for our guests to also enjoy themselves. We were teamed up with an event coordinator who made sure that the entire event went seamlessly. In addition, Chevy Chase Country Club provided our catered meal for our wedding. The food was delicious and very fairly priced. This venue far surpassed our expectations and provided a place for us to have the wedding of a lifetime.

Everything we hoped for and more!

We seriously cannot thank Chevy Chase enough! Everything was absolutely wonderful!! Kelsi and the staff made it so easy and we didn't feel like we had to worry about anything!! The food was phenomenal and the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful - the staff did a fantastic job setting everything up!! All of our guests were commenting on how lovely the venue was (and how good the food was!!). It really was the most stress-free wedding, which is exactly what we were hoping for! Kelsi walked with us from before we even signed the contract to the week after the wedding - answering any questions we had and making sure everything was specific to us as a couple. I am so glad we used Chevy Chase as our venue and would highly recommend them to anyone!

The perfect place for your big day!

We could not have imagined a better wedding day and we owe that all to Chevy Chase. Our coordinator was Jan and from day one she was the absolute best. She and her team made the wedding planning seem effortless and our day went off without a hitch. I have already referred a bride to her and will continue to do so. Fabulous Venue Choice

Chevy Chase wasn't originally on our list of venues to consider, but I'm so glad my mom suggested it. With a fairly recent renovation, the Devonshire room and its 2 walls of windows was a fabulous setting for our ceremony and reception. Please excuse me while I ramble about all the great things....
Jan was fabulous in the planning process. She promptly answered my numerous questions, even when she was out of office. Given that we'd never planned a wedding before, I appreciated her suggestions and advice. Cake and appetizers are included in the price. The bar selection is great. The chairs are really nice, so you don't need to pay extra to have them covered. Because our wedding was off-season we got some discounts and add-ons. The golf course and building exterior make an amazing photo backdrop. Nate, our banquet/facility manager, took care of all our random requests and specifics for where to put the decor and details we brought. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were personable and professional and helped make the day absolutely fabulous.

Chevy Chase Wedding

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Chevy Chase Country Club and we would recommend it to any couple looking for a venue! The space has been recently renovated so it is modern and gorgeous (no terrible carpet or crazy chandeliers like you see in so many other venues). The food was outstanding – we received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved their meals; and I wish they sold their Balsamic dressing because I would buy it by the barrel! Our cake was included in our cost & Lovin’ Oven Bakery made a beautiful and delicious multi-tiered cake. Our coordinators, Jan & Kelsi, were so great about answering my questions throughout the wedding planning process (and I had a lot) and making suggestions on how to best organize the space for the big day. Nick, our day-of coordinator, was also great. Him and his team set up our room beautifully and he was always on hand to answer questions throughout the day. Everyone was so accommodating to all of our requests and needs. We would definitely recommend Chevy Chase to anyone that wants a beautiful and stress-free wedding day!

The Best Venue in the Chicago Suburbs!

CCCC is the perfect place to have your wedding if you want to feel special and at ease during the planning process. Jan and her team made us feel like the only couple getting married at the venue. This is one of the major reasons, CCCC was our favorite vendor we worked with - every vendor sees hundreds of couples getting married and may treat you like "just another wedding," but not at CCCC, your event is special and unique to them. From their attention to detail with our food and decor to Jan's "yes we can attitude," we felt so at ease and taken care of while planning our dream wedding in the Grand Ballroom. The team at Chevy Chase takes care of the details that are important to you so you don't have to worry. My wife and I knew if we asked for something in a planning meeting, email or in passing it was going to be above our expectations. Planning our wedding with Jan and Jonathan felt like having lunch with friends rather than tedious wedding planning because they were so warm, excited for us and reliable! We went back and forth between getting married in the city and suburbs and could not be happier with the choice to host our wedding at CCCC. If you are looking for the perfect venue in the suburbs, this is it. The space allowed for our guests of all ages to enjoy the dance floor, outdoor space, incredible food, a beautiful bar. Everyone says your wedding day will never be "perfect" or that something will always go wrong...that was not our experience. Our day was beyond what we expected and we attribute that to he team at Chevy Chase. THANK YOU for making our day "us." It was perfect!

Amazing venue

My husband and I just got married at Chevy Chase on October 19th in the Devonshire Room. Everything went so smooth, and everyone was so helpful. Jan and her team were incredibly helpful and accommodating through the entire process. All of our guests loved the venue and the food and drinks. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Although the weather did not quite cooperate, we were still able to get some pictures in with the beautiful scenery at Chevy Chase. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding or special event. Thank you for helping our wedding day run smoothly!

Five well earned stars for the staff of Chevy Chase Country Club. My husband and I had our wedding reception on 9/14/18 at the Devonshire Room and everything turned out perfect!

From start to finish, Jan and Kelsi were on top of everything (and I do mean everything) in helping to coordinate every last detail to our liking. They were both incredibly responsive to any questions that we had and went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best experience possible. Their hard work and attention to detail is evident and the end result was a beautifully executed event.

Though we don't have any pictures to share (yet), the venue itself is gorgeous - lighting and acoustics were fantastic and we received a lot of compliments on the visual appeal of the Devonshire Room itself. Nate was our day-of/on-site coordinator and was equally on top of things to ensure that our reception went as planned and without a hitch. Food (chicken & beef sirloin duet plate) was great and we received a lot of positive feedback on the menu as well.

I would recommend Chevy Chase Country Club as an affordable and great value venue for any couple looking to celebrate their big day in style. The venue itself checks just about every box, but it is the staff of CCCC that serve as the proverbial icing on the cake! We cannot thank Kelsi, Jan, Nate, and the entire CCCC team enough - our big day would not have been possible without their great work throughout. Cheers!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chevy Chase. It was absolutely incredible. It honestly could not have been more perfect. We got married on the gorgeous golf course and had our reception in the beautiful Devonshire Room. It was everything we envisioned for our wedding day. None of this would have been possible without the amazing staff at Chevy Chase. Everyone made us feel like the most important people. No details went unnoticed. We worked with Kelsi throughout the planning process. She’s professional, responsive, and accommodating. As an anxious bride, she put up with all my crazy questions with ease! She ensured that both of us were comfortable with every detail. Nate was of day of coordinator. Wow. Absolutely amazing. He is fantastic at his job. When Postmates didn’t deliver our late night snack we had ordered, Nate had pizzas for all our guests within 30 minutes. This guy really knows how to make sure a wedding day goes smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Chevy Chase. I’ll certainly be keeping them all in mind for future events! Thank you Chevy Chase!!

We had our wedding reception (425 guests) at Chevy Chase Country Club in the Grand Ballroom on July 29th, 2018, and we could not have been happier with how everything went!! I had a really specific vision for what I wanted, and Chevy Chase was so accommodating and willing to work with us. Jan Berg is such a pleasure to work with, and always so prompt in returning emails and phone calls. We worked closely with Jan and the chef to plan a cocktail hour with a wide variety of live stations and appetizers spread throughout the abbey and spilling out onto the gorgeous patio. Our guests have given us so much positive feedback about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Everything went perfectly on the day of our wedding, thanks to the dedication and hard work of the entire team at Chevy Chase. We can't thank you enough!

We recently had our wedding at Chevy Chase and I cannot say enough GREAT things about the venue and staff! Jan and Kelsi were so helpful throughout the whole process and were quick to answer any questions we had and accommodate all of our requests. Nick (food and beverage director) was also amazing to work with for all our beverage wishes -- our night would not have been complete without our favorite whiskey and prosecco :) lastly, our day of coordinator/event manager, Nate, made the day stress-free and go off without a hitch!

Our wedding had 300 guests, so naturally, we were concerned with food being hot, cooked correctly, the service of drinks, etc. and they EXCEEDED our expectations! We received SO many compliments about the food being perfect (thank you Chef Oscar!), which is hard to do. The bartenders were AMAZING with their quick service and making sure no one went dry -- they worked so hard and it was very much appreciated and didn't go unnoticed. All in all, Chevy Chase goes above and beyond! We are so happy we chose them as our venue and would do it a million times over, if we could! Thank you to everyone at Chevy Chase for making our day perfect!

We had our wedding at Chevy Chase in September and we would highly recommend it!!! It was amazing! We were in the Devonshire room which is breathtaking. You can't beat the newly updated decor of the room. The windows looking out onto the course just put it over the top. And the fact that the room comes with Chivari chairs is huge and really makes such a difference making the reception look elegant and modern. Every other venue we looked at charged at minimum $10 per chair to upgrade, this is a huge cost savings! The patio was also amazing to have! Our guest spent the entire cocktail hour on the patio, it was gorgeous at sunset. We also put luminaries out at dark and our guest loved it! It was a great option for our guest who didn't like to dance to be able to sit and talk. The course itself is beautiful too! We took photos with my husband and I, our bridal party, and large family photos and it couldn't be a more beautiful backdrop.

The staff is just incredible. Jan was so helpful and more than willing to answer all of our questions as we went through planning. She was highly organized and we fully trusted her that everything on the day of would be taken care of. She truly went above and beyond. I found out after the wedding, half of my family came to our cocktail hour an hour and a half early! The course and club room were not open on our wedding day and a few family members were quite huffy about this not being open. Jan swooped in and saved the day and got them drinks from the bar early. We couldn't be more thankful she took care of this situation for us. Our day of staff member Nick was fantastic and made everything go off without a hitch. The entire staff at Chevy Chase are experts and were able to offer great suggestions for logistics and made the timing of everything on the day of work seamlessly.

All in all, we'd have our reception at Chevy Chase again in a heartbeat!!! They are amazing!!! Thank you Jan, Nick and Chef Oscar!

Jan and Harry were life savers for our wedding!!! Great venue and exceptional staff! Everything was perfect thanks to Jan and Harry. They made the whole planning process so easy. We did not have a wedding planner, but Jan was as close as it gets! We booked in the Devonshire room with about 165 people. It was a perfect fit and probably could have taken another 30-40 easily. Very accommodating venue when asked for special favors. If you are considering this venue you found the one!

Our family has had two successful showers at Chevy Chase, a wedding shower and a baby shower. The Devonshire Room is beautiful and accommodated our numbers well. It is a beautifully appointed, spacious room that is very easy to decorate and arrange. The views of the golf course are an added bonus. Jan and her staff work with you one on one to offer suggestions for meals, presentation, and room arrangements that will enhance your party. The food has always been delicious and the service is beyond amazing! Our relatives are still raving about the great time they had! Thank you Chevy Chase.

CCCC was everything we dreamed of and more. The place itself is breathtaking. We had so many compliments about the uniqueness of the venue. We were in the Grand Ballroom so there was plenty of space for all of our guests but it didn't have that standard venue feel. Jan was great to work with and helped answer all of our questions. The large bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and was another great backdrop for pictures. We just happened to drive by when we were looking for venues and we could not have been more pleased with all there was to offer.

My husband and I got married in the Devonshire Room at Chevy Chase Country Club 2 weeks ago. We cannot say enough positive things about this experience. The entire staff at Chevy Chase worked to accommodate our wishes to make our dream wedding come true. It was a pleasure to work with the office staff, catering staff, wedding day planner, bartenders, and servers. Everyone worked together to ensure we had the best day. We are so happy we had our wedding at Chevy Chase! It was absolutely perfect! We received nothing but compliments on the venue from our guests. Everything from the planning process to the night of to the days following was perfect The team was so easy to work with. When i first visited Chevy Chase Country Club when choosing my venue, I thought it was going to be just another country club. But when i saw all the amazing updates they had done I was blown away with the beauty of it. We had our wedding reception in the Devonshire room and everything about the modern (yet classic) look of the room to the beautiful foyer was everything we could have hoped for. Even more recommendable is the quality of service you will receive from the staff. Jan was a dream to work with and ensures that every detail of your event is just how you wish it to be. She was great at answering my many questions in a timely manner and was very accommodating towards any special requests i had. Another great feature is the variety of food available to make your menu perfect as well as the deliciousness of everything. It's hard to not leave a clean plate and all our guests kept telling us how great everything tasted. If you're looking for glamor, sophistication and high quality in your venue...look no further. We just had our wedding in the Grand Ballroom a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING!!! The venue recently had face lift. The place has been completely remodeled and it unbelievable. If you haven't been there in the last 6 months - you have to check it out.

The staff at Chevy Chase is very helpful and responsive. Big shout out to Jan Berg, she made this whole wedding planning process as smooth as it could be. From day one when we booked til the day of the wedding, Jan, provided timeline suggestions, vendor recommendations, planing guides, etc. She's a pleasure to work with and always greeted us with a smile. The staff made sure all of our questions were answered on a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, Jorge did a great job following up with us throughout the day to ensure everything was going according to my timeline.

We had over 250 guests and til this day everyone can't stop talking about how great the customer service was, how beautiful the venue was and how everything was well organized through cocktail hour, dinner, and the rest of the night. I highly recommend this venue and I wish I can give them more stars as they are well deserved.

The food is delicious, the venue is beautiful and best of all the location is great - near by restaurants, bars, hotels.

I cannot express how happy I am that my husband and I found Chevy Chase and booked them for our wedding this past August. Jane, Wendy, Walt, and James were beyond wonderful to work with. From our very first meeting I knew it was the right place. Jan made us feel so welcomed and answered all of our questions. We never once felt pressured to make any decisions we weren't ready to. We booked the newly renovated Devonshire room and all of our guests still talk about how beautiful it was. Our photos were also absolutely gorgeous from the Devonshire room and outside. I believe the staff makes this place so special. Walt and James really made the night memorable with the amazing food and drink provided and Jan and Wendy work so hard to make each couple feel like they are a priority. You can really tell how dedicated they all are. Walt himself even took the time to help put a special touch on our head table decorations right before everyone got to see the room. It was all beyond my expectation. To me that means a lot that they all take such care in making the night perfect. This place was wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!

My fiancé and I are still about 10 months away from our wedding but we are so excited that both our ceremony and reception will be held at Chevy Chase Country Club! We are planning our wedding from where we live in North Carolina and the staff at Chevy Chase have been nothing short of amazing, kind and flexible with us since we are so far away. We'll be in the Devonshire Room which just finished a major renovation and when we booked we did so not only sight unseen (sent our parents to scout) but also without any walls or floors in the room! Because of this Jan and Wendy were fantastic in allowing us to split up deposits until we had actually seen the finished room and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I had chills when we walked into the empty space for the first time and our wedding was still so far away. The building and land is so historic but also feels fresh with this new renovation. The service has been perfect and their wedding package (while somewhat pricey) does include just about everything you could possibly need on your big day - including a 4 course meal (instead of the standard 3) and your wedding cake from Lovin Oven that you get to completely design yourself. My fiancé and I feel extremely relaxed with Chevy Chase as our vendor even though we're planning from 1,000 miles away and we can't wait for our big day next year!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chevy Chase. The ceremony was outside and the reception was in the Grand Ballroom. The wedding turned out absolutely perfect, due in large part to how wonderful Chevy Chase and their amazing staff were. The venue is amazing, great for anyone looking to host a great party with their large bar and bar area. Also, the patio area for the ceremony was beautiful. While the venue itself is fantastic, the staff were the real reason the venue is so phenomenal. They were so attentive to us before the wedding and couldn't have been more wonderful the day of the wedding. I highly recommend Chevy Chase (and all their staff!!) for your wedding!

Beautiful and unique venue with amazing food and a wonderful staff!! As a bride you are always worried about getting enough to eat on your wedding night, but the staff was so attentive I was actually able to finish my dinner and there was someone always there to refresh my drink. Food was delicious, got so many compliments on the prime rib and au gratin potatoes. Overall a pleasure to work with Wendy, Jan, James, and the Chef. They were very flexible, and always quickly responded to my e-mails and requests.

We had our ceremony and reception here... Words can't even describe how satisfied we were. Jan planned with us down to the very detail, James helped us get one of our favorite beers on tap, and Walter made the most delicious food we had ever tasted! Not only was Chevy Chase very flexible to allow us to get and do whatever we needed, but they were there with us every step of the way. Our wedding ran so smoothly from start to finish and our guests had a great time. The bartenders were quick to serve, and personable to the guests. The servers were accommodating and polite. This place is perfect to have your ceremony and reception... The outdoor area is beautiful but even if you get married inside its the perfect backdrop for pictures. The bridesroom was also another big perk!! We spent a lot of time there during the day and they nice big sofas, huge mirrors, a cute little fireplace setup, and even stalls for bathrooms! The bridal suite had snacks and champagne , and we even had some of our appetizers sent up there in case we missed them during cocktail hour. The horseshoe shaped bar was also a great area for our guests to hang out in ! They were so many good things about this venue... I cant imagine getting married somewhere else. (Several of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! ) I would highly recommend the bartenders, the servers, and most importantly - Chef Walter. If you want a wedding thats in the perfect location to great hotels, with fantastic staff, a beautiful indoor and outdoor setup, a great horeshoe shaped bar, awesome vintage looking ballroom, a spacious bridal suite, with mouth watering food ... This is your place!! Chevy Chase made our day better than we could've imagined. Thank you guys!

We recently had both our ceremony and reception at Chevy Chase and have nothing but good things to say. From our initial meeting through planning and the day of, everything was very organized with clear direction on what was needed from us. Jan was always available to answer any questions that we had and make sure we had everything exactly how we wanted it + more. The service was extremely organized during dinner service with an abundance of courteous and caring wait servers. We had a black-tie wedding at an extremely reasonable price, without even using the Ballroom or outdoor grand patio! The food is delicious with extra large portions for everyone. Can't say enough good things; we continue to go to other events there regularly.

We just had our wedding at Chevy Chase a few days ago. The first thing I wanted to do was write a review because of how amazing everything was. Jan, Wendy, Walt and Joe were all great to work with! It was the most reasonable/best value venue we looked at. The Grand Ballroom is absolutely beautiful and unique. We got so many complements from our guests about the room, the food, the service, you name it and it was perfect! Choosing Chevy Chase was the best decision we made!

Jan and Wendy were phenomenal! I gave them my budget and what I needed within my budget and they made it work. They bent over backwards and when a mistake was made it was fixed promptly and professionally.
We had a morning wedding and everyone couldn't get over how gorgeous this venue was!! My now husband and I couldn't recommend this place more! Go check this place out and say Aaron and melissa sent you! You won't regret having your special day!!!!

I'm so happy to found Chevy Chase after my other restaurant cancelled on me 4months before my wedding. Jan, the manager was so flexible and friendly and Chef Walt and James were great. My husband taught them a 6 courses traditional Vietnamese menu that they've never done and they execute it perfectly. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and willing to work with you and your budget. The place is huge and beautiful. We got so much compliment for our wedding.

Our guests were pleased with "uniqueness" of our venue. It wasn't the same old bland reception hall. There are many beautiful areas for memorable pictures. The new patio is the perfect place to have an outdoor wedding even when a huge storm is threatening! The food was outstanding, both the appetizers and the main course. It was heart-warming as a hostess to walk around and see everyone' s clean plate!! The staff was very accommodating. Chef Walter is the absolute best! The price was very affordable as well.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Excellent, excellent job throughout the whole process. You have a wedding coordinator throught the process as well, even the night of, there is someone to "run" things behind the scenes. The food was FANTASTIC (butt steak, champaign chicken, fruit, salad, garlic mashed), the appitizers were delectable, and the cale was to die for. Very professional, reasonably priced, and easy to communicate with. If you have special requests, don't shy away from asking- they do everything they can to make your day wonderful! Everything was perfect.

I could not have been more pleased with having my wedding at Chevy Chase. In addition to beautiful grounds for taking pictures, a gorgeous ballroom, and awesome pricing, it was the customer service that really stuck out. The ladies I worked with genuinely cared about my event and were very responsive throughout the process. They accommodated every idea I had and the event cound not have run more smoothly. I also got compliments on the food, which is extremely rare at weddings. I would recommend getting married at Chevy Chase to everyone I know!

Made the day go incredibly smooth. Couldn't have asked for better service, food, and professionalism. Wendy and Monica were so helpful in accommodating all of our needs. After working in the wedding serving industry for a number of years and eating a lot of banquet food, Chef Walt's food is by far the best I have ever had. You can see he has a genuine passion for what he does. The room was flawless and the bar renovation was awesome. Chevy Chase did a great job keeping the stress level down for both my bride and I.

The location is outstanding. We were able to have the ceremony outside on the patio. All the guests loved it as we had the sunset as a backdrop. Everything was taken care of for us on the day of the wedding. They coordinated with the vendors allowing for us to just enjoy our day. Food is just awesome - anything we tasted. We had guests that have been to several weddings attesting that this was the best food yet. They work with the bakery Lovin Oven for the cake. Getting out there for the tasting is a hike - but it is worth it! We could not have asked for anything more for location, food or service and the prices are very reasonable.

If I could give more stars, I would!!! I can't say enough good things about Chevy Chase! My sister and I went there on a whim; we had started searching for venues 1 year exactly prior to the wedding, and were driving home from many no-gos when we drove past Chevy Chase...we thought, why not? The minute we walked in we were welcomed! Bill gave us a tour and explained all the historical aspects of the building. I brought my mom back, and she loved it. FI works as a manager for a restuarant group downtown, so he was the one that needed convincing...Walt allowed us 2 tastings before we even booked! He was very flexible with the menu, and the dinner turned out better than expected! All the guests raved about the appetizers, service, ambiance, just everything! I worked with Jan throughout the year, and she was absolutely a joy to work with...so many times we just started getting off topic because it was so easy to talk to her...Wendy went over the list with us when we brought in our stuff 2 days before, and was very maticulous in writing everything down. Both she and Jan were very good at remembering and documenting the details (and we had plenty :-)) Monica was there the day of, and was always on top of things. The service was exceptional, there was always someone there when we needed them, with exactly what we needed. I could not have imagined a smoother evening, and the amount of attention to detail (I am a total planner and crazy with my details!) Everyone was so personable, too, during the evening, the bartenders were always in conversation with the guests, making them laugh and yet, still very attentive to everyone else. I felt so comfortable having a great time and just enjoying my evening, because everyone there took care of everything else!!!

We did a luncheon wedding reception at Chevy Chase, and we could not have been happier!! Jan in catering worked with us from the beginning to create a reception and a menu/bar package that fit with our budget and desires. Our reception was in their Grand Ballroom, which is an amazing space with vaulted ceilings, a stage, a separate private bar, a gigantic bride's room (with champagne and snacks!). Guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was (our entree choices were their signature champagne chicken or grilled salmon), and when are guests so impressed with food at a wedding??!! The location was beautiful, the people kind and flexible, the service great, the food wonderful -- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Jan and Wendy at Chevy Chase were amazing to work with. They answered all our questions promptly and since we had no wedding planner or coordinator they eased all our worries. Our guests LOVED that Chevy Chase has an actual bar area and not the traditional cocktail stands that are you usually at reception halls. Also Walt the head chef is amazing. We received so many compliments on our food. We had the fillet and chicken champagne duet and the meat was so tender and juicy. I only wish I had time to try the dessert table we had ordered, but I kept getting pulled away from guests. Many of our guests said that our food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding reception. Also, while Chevy Chase can seat up to 600 people, the room has a very intimate feel. I highly recommend using Chevy Chase for any of your party needs.

We loved it!

1.) The staff really knew their stuff and try hard to help make the planning of the reception easy.

2.) They helped us with a my husbands God-Mothers birthday- had her own cake brought to her as we sang happy birthday.

3.) BUT more then anything they helped me with everything! The day of my wedding the ice scupture didn't have any florals around it, because I forgot to order more... Walt went outside and trimmed some beautiful roses and greenery to trim the ice scupture!

4.) My Uncle had forgot to get my favorite kind of wine, and the staff sent someone got to grab it!!! I am not someone fancy or the type to demand that type of service, they just provided it!

Overall these people are GREAT! With the history of Chevy Chase, as well as the space in the Grandball Room and its BAR! This was a great place to represent my husband and I. Not to mention the outdoor space for pictures turned out great!!

If I could give more stars I would! We worked with Jan, Bill, Wendy, Walt and Monica and they all helped to make our wedding the best day of our lives. First off, this is one of the best deals we found in the Chicagoland area. Throughout the whole planning process Jan answered all of our questions quickly and took great care of us; I'm actually sad its over. If I could plan a wedding with them every weekend I would. The price includes tax, gratuity, full bar and cake. You can't find a better deal. We had the Grand Ballroom which is a huge room....and it is beautiful. I have received so many compliments from our guests on the venue, I even have a friend considering having her wedding there as well. The food was excellent...we had the chicken parmesan..I would highly recommend it! I can't say enough about Chevy Chase. The whole staff is very attentive and responsive to your every need. They helped with a special birthday treat I had for my maid of honor and continued to check in with me the whole night. Really I could go on and on...but I think you get the picture :)

I can not have imagined having our wedding reception any place besides Chevy Chase. There were so many things that were great, that it is difficult to know where to start. First, I have to say that I think Chevy Chase is one of the best values in the Chicagoland metro area. We looked at 20 to 30 other reception halls all around Chicagoland and Chevy Chase offered some of the best prices and to top it off their, service, food and space are just amazing. Really, really great.

To start the ballroom area is at least 3 to 5 times the size most of the other places we looked at. It has a great space for a band, a nice area for a cocktail reception, a separate room that can be used as a kids room, a bridal suite area and a separate bar area.

The service before the wedding and the night of the wedding were fabulous, very, very accommodating. Everyone was super nice.

For the price, I thought there would be a trade off on the food, but we were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and especially the cake.

The one down fall is that it isn't connected to a hotel, but we had a shuttle to and from the Westin that worked out perfectly.

I would recommend Chevy Chase to any couple. I am looking forward to having my baby shower at Chevy Chase hopefully soon!

This reception hall is AMAZING. They really take the time and make sure your special day goes as planned. Chevy Chase has a great price with no hidden charges. Their prices per person include tax and gratuity, this is hard to find now a days. Besides the money being reasonable, the food is spectacular. The cook comes out to you and accomodates you whether the food is on the menu or not. He even made a soup recipe imported from Italy which was not on the menu. The outside grounds are beautiful and make for great pictures. I would recommend this hall to anyone!

We got married at Chevy Chase on August 23rd, 2014. To start with, we fell in love with the ceremony and reception space! Beautiful patio! Beautiful tudor style interior and exterior! Our photos look wonderful!

It also rained on our wedding day during the morning, and we had our hearts set on a outdoor wedding. It stopped a raining one hour prior to the ceremony and the staff quickly wiped down the whole patio, you wouldn't have know it had just been pouring outside!

The staff was also super accommodating with all of our special requests and arraignments. They also let us stay within their pre-set menu pricing but change things up a bit. We had sorbe instead of a soup dish and we thought that was so much fun! The guests were also raving about the dessert selection and quality of the food - we had the standard dessert package and a dual Chicken dish.

The only major con I can think of is that you're forced to have a late ceremony as Chevy is a golf course and they don't want ceremonies happening while people are golfing. Out ceremony started at 6:30pm, which meant that guests didn't get dinner till around 8:00pm. However, no one complained about that at all!

Absolutely Stunning Baby Shower Brunch

We had our baby shower in the Devonshire room at Chevy Chase and it was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend the venue for any special occasion!! The room itself is filled with so much natural light, that minimal decor is needed. We hosted a Baby Shower brunch with Mimosa bar and the food was amazing, all our guests were raving about how delicious it was (especially the omelet and prime rib station). Adrian and his staff went above and beyond, meeting our every need and ask. It's been over a week now and all our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was.

Absolutely loved it!

We took someone's cancellation and planned our wedding in less than 5 months. Kim & Jan on the sales team are absolutely wonderful and so supportive. Always there to answer any question I had, and I emailed Kim a lot :) They were very accommodating - much more than any other venue we looked at. We had filets, which we were nervous would be overcooked, but they were so perfect! Everyone raved about the food! We had Peter as our day of coordinator, and he was so amazing as well. We brought so many candles/centerpieces to be set up and they did everything we asked with a smile. We had our ceremony on the 1st tee and our reception in the Devonshire room. Such a beautiful property. Overall, we were so incredibly satisfied with how our entire wedding went and would recommend Chevy Chase Country Club in a heartbeat to anyone looking.

Beautiful Ceremony at a Beautiful Venue!

I had Nikah (Islamic marriage) ceremony at Chevy Chase Country Club in their Devonshire room in December of 2018. My primary contact at Chevy Chase was Kelsi who was BEYOND phenomenal! Every step from booking, to planning, to the set up the day of the event went as smoothly as it possibly could have thanks to Kelsi and the other wonderful team members at Chevy Chase.

The booking process was fairly straight forward. We went and looked at the spaced and discussed packages. Kelsi was nice enough to put our date on hold while we were still exploring our options.

Approximately a month before the event date we also sent over our list of vendors as they do need to be registered at the venue. They do require all vendors, particularly caters, to be licensed and insured.

The day of the event I arrived early to meet the decorator, make final adjustments on the setup, and to get my makeup done. The staff that oversaw the set up was incredibly nice and accommodating! I was going through usual wedding day jitters but they took care of everything without me having to lift a finger!

I was able to get ready in their AMAZING bridal ready room. It was the perfect place for me to just sit and relax for a few minutes before getting back into the craziness of the day.

Throughout the event, the staff was totally on schedule by putting the food out, cleaning up, and ultimately wrapping things up at the end of the night. They were always one step ahead and prepared for anything they came their way.

The only piece of feedback I would give is I wish they were a bit more flexible with the days they allow for outside catering. As of right now, Chevy Chase only allows for outside catering on Sundays. I completely understand why this is the case; however, the flexibility would be nice. Indian/Pakistani events are always huge on food so we were unable to stick to the in house catering. Perhaps if they were able to partner with different kinds of vendors or expand their outside catering policy we could have more options. Again, I completely understand why the current policy is in place, it would just be nice to have the option.

Overall, I would recommend anyone thinking of having their event at this venue to totally go for it with complete confidence that your event will go off without a hitch!

They were super accommodating and the facility was BEAUTIFUL. The only major complaint was that dinner was late which pushed everything back.

I had a engagement party here in 2016. My engagement party was a luncheon and we worked off the Chevy Chase luncheon menu. I worked with Jan who I believe is in charge of the sales team. To say that they were accommodating was an understatement. I wanted more hot items in my buffet, Jan and the chef were so flexible and I was able to have all of the menu items that I requested, including making certain dishes spicier. My guests loved the food, it was delicious- I highly recommend adding jalapeno mac and cheese to your buffet !! I was even able to pick out the deserts I wanted and they also turned out pretty great(the lemon blueberry bars were delicious)! Nick, was in charge of audio and basically ran the event on the day of the engagement. Nick helped fill the vases for the centerpieces with water during setup time and although there were some issues with sound, Nick was very quick to fix it.

The venue was also great. Unfortunately, the pictures on this site are not up to date. Chevy Chase has had major renovations done, the Devonshire Room which I used has a very clean, classic look to it with dark wood, and white trim with tons and tons of windows which overlook the golf course. My guests also really loved the venue.

The one thing I would change with my event, is to not order appetizers. They are pretty expensive and not worth it in my opinion, the buffet would have been more than enough.

We got married in the Devonshire room at Chevy Chase Country club. Jan and Gayle made everything easy for us and they were very accommodating with our requests. The food is delicious for wedding food and the bakery they partner with made us a gorgeous cake. Only down fall was the keg lines broke at the bar the night of our wedding and the three beers on tap that were supposed to be offered weren't. The staff ran to the store and got a tapper (the ones you're used to from college parties) for our favorite of the three, but there was nothing we could do for the other two. I know this will be resolved for future events but thought it helpful to share how they at least tried to remedy the situation.

I have not had my wedding yet, but my fiance and I were very impressed with Chevy Chase right off the bat. We went and looked at several Chicago area venues over a weekend (we actually live elsewhere), and Chevy Chase definitely had the best customer service. As soon as we walked in, we were offered free drinks at the bar, which just showed they were actually interested in us and not just another couple coming to look at the venue. Jan showed us around and also asked us a lot of questions about us as a couple and our wedding. Again, very focused on us as people and not just another couple. Many other vendors only asked for bare bone details about the wedding to find out timeline needs. We decided to have our reception in the Devonshire room, which was actually under construction when we went to look. Jan still took us into the room (which was partially done) and helped us to visual the space. Jan then showed us models of what the room was supposed to look like upon completion, and even though not everything had been completely figured out, Jan made us feel comfortable that with Chevy Chase's experience that everything would run smoothly and be beautiful come our wedding day. When we decided to book the venue, they were extremely responsive, and they have also said that we are more then welcome to come look at the completed room whenever we are back in town.

UPDATE: We had our wedding and everything went pretty well! As the planning continued from our last post, I did notice that, although the staff is very nice, it seemed like they were so busy that responses were occasionally slow. We also found that every time we went to the venue for a planned meeting, Jan did not seem to know that we had a meeting. We found it a little odd considering customer service should be a huge thing for a wedding venue. But, at the end of the day, everything went pretty much as planned and Chevy Chase was accommodating and helpful with our requests.

Although it was difficult at times to effectively communicate with office staff, the chef and food & bev manager were amazing to work with. Staff were very capable, accommodating, and quick to react. Our DJ blew a speaker as my 4 bridesmaids were walking down the aisle and James (food & bev manager) had an extra speaker on standby, ran it out to the DJ, and music was playing by the time I walked down the aisle. We were very please with our event and would definitely recommend this venue.

We had a wonderful experience with Chevy Chase. They were great to work with from start to finish, accommodating our requests (e.g., signature cocktails, a different wine selection) and easy to communicate with. The venue isn't cheap but, compared with many similar venues in the Chicagoland area, it was well worth the money we spent. Our guests raved about the food, the bar, and the decor (we were in the larger ballroom - it's spectacular!). All in all, very happy we decided to go with Chevy for our special day.

Chevy Chase Country Club was the most perfect venue for us!! From the beginning, we were so impressed with how beautiful the newly renovated rooms were. We got married in the Devonshire room, and I couldn't have been happier with the setting. Jan helped coordinate many of the details for many months during the engagement and was available to us quickly and as often as we needed her. When were were deciding between a handful of country clubs around the area, this one just had the best value and pricing for everything we got. Overall, I was so thrilled with everything. The food is also very good!! We enjoyed our tasting and I really did get to enjoy my dinner and cake at the reception! There were several minor details that were not placed according to what I had imagined, but this is the very nitpicky part of me. Most people would never notice those things, but I just happened to notice that the music was not on during our slideshow in the lobby and a few decoration items were in the wrong place. This was not anything that by any means ruined the night or upset me at all! In the end, everything was beautiful and we had a wonderful evening.

Chevy chase is a beautiful venue, the golf course is beautifully maintained. The grand ballroom is wonderful. When it is all put together it has such a great look and feel to it. THe coordinators Wendy and Jan were great. Very accommodating. The cost of the room is great. I loved being able to meet the chef at our tasting and ask questions as well as him coming up to visit us during our reception.
