Wild Onion Brewery and Banquets was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. Adrianna, Christian, and the entire staff at Wild Onion were so helpful, professional, and extremely accommodating of every we needed for our wedding. Working with them made planning our wedding so smooth. They went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was magical. The space is gorgeous, and we were so happy that we were able to do both our ceremony and reception in the same place. They were amazing partners throughout this whole experience and they truly made our wedding wonderful.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding day! This beautiful brewery location right on the river provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration, and their all-inclusive package made planning so much easier. The all-inclusive package was incredible value - venue rental, dinner catering, 10 different beers on tap from their own brewery, day-of wedding coordination, ceremony setup, and table setup were all seamlessly handled. We chose their taco buffet, which was a huge hit with our guests and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. What really impressed us was how gracefully they handled our guests' dietary restrictions. We needed 5 vegetarian plated meals, one vegan meal, and one allergen-free meal, and they executed everything perfectly without any stress on our end. The staff went above and beyond in every way. Their communication was clear and prompt throughout the planning process, and they handled all the venue logistics so we could focus on enjoying our day. We had plenty of time for wedding decor setup, and they even provided professional signage to help direct our guests to the venue. During the ceremony, they helped coordinate the processional, and the bartenders were absolutely wonderful - friendly and attentive all evening long. Having the venue coordinate the majority of our logistics took so much pressure off our shoulders and let us truly be present for our special day. The team did such an exceptional job that we would choose to host our wedding there again in a heartbeat! If you're looking for a venue that combines a stunning riverside location, excellent food and drinks, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day perfect, this is the place. We can't recommend them highly enough!

Acquaviva was quite literally the most magical place to have our wedding. They were the first venue we saw and from the moment we walked in we knew that nothing would top it. The staff were all extremely kind and welcoming to us throughout our planning process and truly helped our dreams become reality. The day of our wedding was everything we could’ve asked for and more, from the food to the wine and to the impeccable service at the bridal house and bartenders, we were extremely well taken care of. All of our guests raved about what a beautiful wedding it was and we agree- couldn’t highly recommend Acquaviva more to any couple wishing for a piece of Italy on the wedding day!

I stumbled upon Thornton on google back in August of 2023 while looking for a venue for our wedding on 11/9/24. Immediately we fell in love with the rich history that the distillery had to offer! We ended up going to dinner the same evening and when we walked in we knew this was the place we wanted to host our wedding celebration. Luckily the next day Kim the event manager was available to discuss the various options the distillery had to offer. Kim was truly one of the most informative, timely, and friendly event planners I had the pleasure with working with. She will work with you to stay within budget and isn’t pushy by any means. Everything they offer from buffet, family style, and plated meals are straightforward. With that said, We ended up opting for the full buyout to have the private and intimate wedding of our dreams. Thornton Distilling Company delivered that with flying colors! From the initial meeting with Kim, sitting down with her and the Chef to get feedback regarding our tasting, to day of. In fact all the staff I’ve come in contact with at the distillery are wonderful, accommodating, and top tier customer service. Special shout out to Trevor the restaurant manager and his exceptional fashion choices! The food/drinks in both the restaurant and the catering division are what you’d expect in a high end gastropub in the city, the attention to detail and the outstanding combination of flavors will leave you and your guests stunned! I can confidently say I’ve never had better food/experience at a wedding and I’ve been to a lot of them. Overall, the founders Andrew and Jake have saved this beautiful building from disrepair along with their wonderful staff to create an unforgettable event space. If you’re looking to have a wedding that’s more of an experience for everyone in attendance then look no further. My husband and I can look back on our wedding day and sincerely say it was perfect and Thornton played a huge role in that!

Excellent venue. Fair pricing. We had our ceremony by the pond and the reception outdoors in a tent at the winery. It was beautiful and so much better than any banquet hall. All of the guests were raving about the scenery and the great wine. Staff was amazing! Simply fabulous!! Thank you shady creek winery for making our wedding night unforgettable!!!

DC Estate Winery is a beautiful venue to not only visit but get married. We fell in love with it the minute we saw it. The venue is a perfect boutique, you have the entire place to yourself. The grounds are extremely well kept. We had a perfect 80 degree late October day so it made the day beyond perfect! The real talent here is Tia; who is seriously hands down the most genuine, kind, helpful & talented wedding planner who makes everything go perfectly. Throughout the planning process to execution Tia knows exactly what she’s doing, she’s a true professional. Bride & grooms should have total confidence in her abilities & knowing your day will go seamless with her in your corner. Tia does everything, from the set up/take down of tables, coordinating & contacting all vendors, etc. & helping with last minute “emergencies” or recommendations. She is extremely reliable & easy to get in contact with; if it’s through planning pod or via email or text, she is there. The morning of the wedding, she even sent pictures to calm the “type A” personality of the bride. Tia is a pro and with that comes her extensive knowledge, background & experience where she provides suggestions for vendors & coordinates wedding day timelines. We were extremely pleased with our wedding at DC Estate, not only with the venue, people, atmosphere, ambience & wine but Tia really completes the full package. Thank you for making our day one to remember!

Before my now husband and I were even engaged we scoped out journeyman at their Valparaiso location for a potential wedding reception venue. My husband and I are Valparaiso University alumni. Valparaiso was where our love story began, and from the moment we went to dinner at Journeyman I knew it HAD to be the spot for our reception. The process could not have been easier, despite us living over 2000 miles away, all thanks to our amazing coordinator, Kaley! We cannot thank her and the Journeyman team enough for making our wedding PERFECT. We are huge foodies and have been to plenty of weddings where the meal was lackluster, but Journeyman was FANTASTIC. A ton of our guests even mentioned after that it was the best wedding food they ever had. The bar, of course, was incredible. The venue itself was perfect. We were able to utilize the rooftop patio and everyone loved it. If you are having a Valparaiso wedding there’s no question this is the spot you want!
