From the moment we visited and spoke with Marissa and her team, I knew we would have a great experience. We have attended so many Chicago area weddings and while many are stunning, Cog Hill was in our price range and truly blew us away with the value received. We now live across the country, and I was so relaxed because our venue was so communicative, positive, and willing to help. On a whim I knew I would be in town and Marissa made time to meet with my mom and myself and answered countless questions. We were so impressed by the centerpieces we rented through the venue, I'm so glad we did not go through the head ache of making them. The linens they rent looked phenomenal and there was an option for every single color palette. We were able to drop off materials prior and I was so beyond blown away by every single small detail the staff took care of it. Table numbers, signage, flowers, cake, sweets table, you name it. They set each and every thing up beautifully. Our vendors such as DJ and photographer made sure to mention that the staff at this location was so welcoming and so easy to work with. For me, I will always love the look of our reception. Our ceremony was stunning and it was a cherry on top that our 4 living grandparents were moved via golf cart during pictures and to and from the outdoor ceremony space. If I had to wedding plan 100x over, I would still choose Cog Hill and this amazing events staff.

Cog Hill was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. It is already such a beautiful place, and we were able to bring our color palette and style to make it uniquely “ours.” From the food and drinks, to the outdoor patio, to the wonderful and accommodating staff members, we are very happy we chose Cog Hill. We also received many comments from guests about how much they enjoyed the event space!

We can't thank Jenny and the Cog Hill crew enough for how spectacular our reception was. Jenny was an incredible communicator all throughout our planning process, and was so helpful the couple weeks leading up to the wedding. She really is superhuman with how she pulled everything together exactly in the way we wanted.
The food was to die for, the space itself was gorgeous and the perfect size for our 190-person wedding. The bar serves top-shelf liquor along with a huge variety of beer/seltzers/wine!

We wanted a cozy winter wedding and Cog Hill had exactly the kind of look we wanted! A warm, wooden interior with chandeliers made that space perfect! They can fit quite a lot of people and our coordinator Marissa went above and beyond with the day of decor. I supplied my own decorations and she made it look even better than I had planned! Catering was through the venue which made it a lot easier for me with planning/coordinating. So glad we chose this venue!!!!

After countless hours of venue research, we stumbled across Cog Hill on a WeddingWire suggestion. At first I had reservations about getting married at a country club since I had only really been looking at rustic venues but I cannot tell you how perfect this venue is. My husband and I planned our entire wedding from a distance due to being in the military and I truly do not think it would have gone so smoothly without the help of Jenny and her amazing wedding team. She gave us a virtual tour via skype and was always super responsive with any and all of my questions. It was everything we wanted for our winter wedding and more than we could have even asked for, AND in budget which is a rare find in Chicago if you've done enough research. A lot of venues you need a caterer and there are tiers for an open bar if you can afford it. Cog Hill is all inclusive with their prices, all food and alcohol are included. And you have access to everything behind their normal bar for their customers, no tier pricing. Also, they let us bring in our own ingredients/alcohol for them to serve behind the bar if we they did not carry it, no fee! Not only is the space and pricing incredible but the staff was SO helpful in all of the planning, showing us around last minute when we finally came to town and taking all of our decorations the week of AND setting them up for us!! That was a huge game changer and stress relief to hand them everything with where we wanted it and to have the staff take care of everything. Robbie was our coordinator and did an incredible job. He even brought me an entire plate of hors de oeuvres once they stopped serving them for dinner since I never got to try any of them. He really made sure we were taken care of. We did not hire a wedding planner, and with Cog Hill I really don't think we needed to, I am SO happy with how everything turned out. If you are getting married in December, the Christmas decorations are STUNNING and added a level of romance and ambiance we wanted for our wedding without a ton of decorations, since their lighted decor is already up. Almost every guest made comments on how it was the most beautiful wedding venue they've seen. Truly, I cannot rave enough about this venue. I feel like we won the jackpot. Our day would not have gone as smoothly and perfectly as it did without them.

We are so happy with our wedding at Cog Hill! We worked with Jenny for the majority of our planning and she really helped to make the whole process a breeze on our end. She took care of everything and we felt confident that everything was handled and we were really able to spend time with our family and friends. The food was delicious and the clubhouse is such a great setting for a reception. We did not want a cookie cutter banquet hall, and once we found Cog Hill we were sold, especially after we realized how reasonably priced they were. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

We got married in September and we couldn’t have picked a better venue! All of our guests raved about the food and complemented on how beautiful Cog Hill is. The staff was great and went out of their way to make our day so special. We worked with Jenny and she is just awesome! We highly recommend Cog Hill

Cog Hill is an amazing venue with great food and great prices! The managers are welcoming and definitely take the time to answer any questions and help out. They only host one wedding at a time so that was definitely a plus!

My husband and I had our reception at Cog Hill this year and we could not be happier with our decision!!! Everything was perfect! The event staff was so attentive throughout the planning process, they were always there to answer our questions and made us feel at ease always! Our reception night was perfect! The staff was so friendly, and the food was outstanding! If I had it to do all over again, I would choose Cog Hill every time!
