My Wedding was perfect. Lovely sunny day by the Gazebo with cocktail and reception to follow. The drinks and food were great. I had no complaints from anyone. My cake was even delicious and you order it with the hotel package that was offered. My wedding suite was spacious and comfortable. I could look down from my room and see everyone arrive. Khullod the coordinator was awesome and kudos to the chef for making my food just like I wanted it.

We used the Doubletree Oak Brook for our guest room block the week of our wedding. They were very easy to set up, and I had no trouble getting in touch with them to check on the status of the block and make updates as our guest numbers increased. I also booked a suite with them for the bridesmaids and myself to get ready on the day of the wedding, and they were extremely helpful. I was easily able to arrange to have a high-top table and extension cord delivered to the room, and they were also able to arrange for sandwiches to be sent up at lunch time so we didn't go hungry. They also ran complimentary shuttles between our venue and the hotel so that our guests wouldn't get stranded. All in all, I am so glad we chose to stay here for our wedding.

Khulood and her team are the absolute best. They made my wedding 100% perfect. They were so accommodating and listened to my vision and worked with my budget.

DoubleTree Hilton in Oak Brook served as the perfect venue for our wedding! Our wedding planner her responded promptly to my emails and acted in our best interest throughout the process to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted! In addition to an absolutely gorgeous venue, we had very coordinated services with all vendors leaving me no worries besides keeping a glass in my hand. I would recommend them to all engaged couples out there!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here a few weeks ago. We could not say enough good things about the experience we had. We worked with Khulood who was extremely flexible and accommodating. She helped us through the entire process from picking out the food to making sure the day ran smoothly. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, everything I pictured and more. We have received so many compliments on how great everything looked and how good the food was! I have been bragging to people for months how amazing it is and they defiantly tasted what I was talking about! We had our ceremony outside by the gazebo. I was a little nervous with how everything would look (because it is pretty much in the parking lot) but once everything was decorated you couldn't even tell. Khulood did such a great job with everything! Everyone was very kind and helpful through the entire process. I was not stressed at all during the entire process. I would highly recommend the DoubleTree!

They offer a great wedding package. I was extremely pleased. Responded anytime I had questions or concerns. Excellent personalities.

We used the DoubleTree for our hotel block for our wedding. I didn't love that they weren't flexible about taking out the attrition clause (many other hotels in the area would), but I did love that the hotel is beautiful, close to our ceremony/reception location, were able to provide an ADA Compliant room in our block, and provided transportation for our guests to and from the wedding.

They were timely with getting us our list of guests staying in the block, were flexible about receiving our welcome bags in advance of the earliest guests arrivals, and overall were very communicative and professional.

TL/DR - refused count people that booked rooms day of towards attrition rate, shuttle for my wedding guests never came, charged me $120 extra because we ran out of coffee and water during our morning after brunch

Room blocks - we blocked out months in advanced and since this was a local wedding we wanted to have rooms for those that were too sloppy by the end of the night. Deadline for the block passed, which happens. But I asked them if we could at least count guests that book later toward the attrition rate, since that was revenue that the hotel would not have had without us. They said they will speak to management and let us know. About 6 rooms were booked the day of the wedding, none of which got counted towards our attrition rate. That’s about $700’at least in revenue that the hotel would not have had towards us, but they didn’t count that and we had to pay a higher rate since all rooms in our block weren’t booked

Shuttle service - I had let them know on 7.6.23 that my wedding was on 7.22.23 and asked for a shuttle. I confirmed the times with the sales rep and she said she would take care of it. Shuttles were supposed to come to my reception venue 10 minutes away at 11 and 12:15. When I walked outside after my wedding ended at midnight I saw a large group of people waiting for a shuttle. No shuttles ever came and my guests instead had to Uber. One of them called the front desk of the hotel asking and was very curtly told there were no shuttles that evening. When he asked more, he was hung up on. When I asked about this the next morning, I was told my shuttle did go out….on 7.21.23. Which was not my wedding date. I am unsure who it picked up but it wasn’t my guests.

Morning breakfast - we had reserved a conference room for breakfast and we did an a la crate option. We ran out of food early, which is fine. But we also ran out of coffee and water. I had asked someone if they could refill it for us and they said yes. About 45 minutes later it still had not come and I asked again. It came a half hour after that. The next day I get a bill from the sales team for an additional $117 for the breakfast for refilling coffee and water. Go to any other restaurant and they do that for free.

I cannot state it enough. Do not book here. Not worth it.
