LondonHouse Chicago is a luxurious wedding venue located in Chicago, Illinois. Nestled in the heart of downtown on the historic Fort Dearborn location, this hotel gives couples and their guests quick access to the eclectic city. The fresh,classic design scheme, multiple event spaces, and in-house catering will ensure that you and your guests have an unforgetable wedding weekend.

Facilities and Capacity

LondonHouse Chicago can host events of various sizes, from intimate gatherings to large, lavish celebrations. The largest option is the Juliette Grand Ballroom, which can host events with up to 190 guests. The versatile space features floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer stunning views of the city and the Chicago River. The room can hold a ceremony then be turned for dinner during the cocktail hpur. Just outside the doors is a pre-function area where guests can enjoy an elegant cocktail hour before the dinner begins. The muted color scheme, contemporary chandeliers, and sleek architecture will make for a sophisticated, airy aesthetic for your big day. On the hotel's 21st floor is Étoile, which features a private terrace where you and your loved ones can enjoy the cityscape sights in the fresh air. In addition, couples and their guests will have over 450 guest rooms to choose from, with cozy bedding and modern amenities to ensure a relaxing overnight stay.

Couples will have multiple services to choose from to bring their nuptial vision to life. Tables,chairs, rented linen,votive candles, table numbers alomg with dance floor, band stage etc will be provided set up to match your preferred arrangement. The food and beverage teams offer an array of options to match each client's unique palate. From hors d'oeuvres to dessert, the culinary staff will work to provide you and your guests a mouth-watering experience. In addition to weddings, LondonHouse Chicago can also host prenuptial events, including engagement parties, showers, and rehearsal dinners as well as post wedding brunch.

Beyond the Perfect Venue

We had our wedding at LondonHouse in June 2022 and it was by far better than anything I could have imagined. So many of our guests, even months later, have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The entire LondonHouse team, and Steve in particular, went above and beyond to make the whole process so smooth and easy. Steve was there the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly, and he promptly answered every question we had leading up to the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about him; he knows what he’s doing and he does it incredibly well. Every detail of the day and the process leading up to it was so meticulously thought through. The food was amazing and the service was incredible. I cannot recommend LondonHouse enough to anyone looking for a downtown location to have their wedding. The entire process was low-stress and the result was beyond anything I could have imagined. The views of the river are spectacular, the ballroom and cocktail area are beautiful, and it’s located in such a great spot for pictures. We did our first look up in the cupola on the rooftop, and then walked around Michigan Ave, the Wrigley Building, and the river for photos with our wedding party. The entire day was beyond perfect.

Wedding at LondonHouse

We had our wedding at LondonHouse Chicago and it was everything we hoped for. The location is perfect — right on the river with incredible views and easy access for guests. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the event spaces, which definitely helped us feel relaxed and taken care of. The staff was outstanding — super friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Manny and Steve especially were there to ensure everything went smoothly, and they made a big difference on such an important day. We’re really glad we chose LondonHouse for our big day.

Amazing staff, unique location

First and foremost, Manny managed to steal the show despite the amazing views and privacy of the Cupola. Both of our families adored him, and he was so incredibly helpful both leading up to the big day and throughout the ceremony. He is a gem.

The Cupola was the perfect place for our small wedding of 10. I was worried about noise levels from the rooftop bar, but we had a spacious, private area to ourselves and no issues! Our ceremony was a dream, and I am so grateful we found this location! Worth the price.

Incredible!

My husband and I were in awe at the photos of weddings held at LondonHouse and immediately sought more information and upon meeting the wedding coordinator Steve knew this was the right choice for us. Steve was absolutely amazing and irreplaceable! He was so much fun, good at diffusing tension or anxiety, and so well organized. He thought of everything that never even crossed our minds. Our wedding would not have been possible without his help. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and we were lucky enough for the rooftop to be open during our wedding. Since most of our guests were from out of town we were so happy with the location and the bar as out of town guests felt like they got a bona fide Chicago experience while visiting for our wedding. Everyone on site was unbelievably kind and helpful. The food at the wedding was EXTRAORDINARY, the chef was is so incredibly talented and we got so many compliments on the food! Bar staff and servers the night of the reception were so unbelievably wonderful and professional. The view from the Juliette ballroom is exquisite especially at night and the surrounding area is perfect for city shots with the photographers. The cupola was astounding and so unique and gorgeous and the photos there are show stopping. Overall we would not change a thing about the wedding and are so thankful for Steve and everyone at Londonhouse for making the weekend absolutely perfect!

The Epitome of A Grand Chicago Wedding Venue

If you ever dreamed of a stunning, sparkly, top notch wedding day then you need look no further than LondonHouse Chicago to make that dream come true. Aside from the drop dead gorgeous ballroom views overlooking the Chicago River and the magnificent architecture of the city, the outstanding staff and most delicious gourmet food will certainly guarantee a wedding more perfect than you ever imagined. The key to this is Catering Manager Extraordinaire Steve Sleczka. With his guidance and capable hands, Steve will help you create the most fabulous event--from the best appetizers and drinks, to the sleekest table landscapes and room decor--and he will assure that every detail is taken care of. We booked LondonHouse in 2019 for a 2020 October wedding. When we decided to postpone the wedding until September 2021, Steve could not have been more supportive, flexible and empathetic in helping us turn the chaos of the pandemic into a beautiful, memorable and wonderful long awaited celebration. The extra year we worked with Steve and LondonHouse on this wedding journey was an eye opening exercise in how a venue SHOULD reach out and assist you with kindness and concern. Steve was there for us every step of the way and on the day of our event, every staff member of LondonHouse rose to the occasion as well--from the valet and front desk employees to the wait staff and bartenders and even to the house keeping staff that went above and beyond during our weekend stay. Chicago is a city chock full of hotels but LondonHouse Chicago is the ONLY place you should consider if you want a complete and utterly first class experience in planning the most special day of your life.

We wish we could get married here again and again!

John and I had our wedding at LondonHouse Chicago in August 2019. We searched for a venue that was elegant and luxurious without being stuffy or rigid. We found exactly this in LondonHouse Chicago. The location is ideal (super easy for out of town guests with lots of fun activities and restaurants nearby, not to mention fantastic views from the rooms and rooftop) and we loved being able to host all the different parts of our event (ceremony, cocktails and reception) on one floor. The food was plentiful and delicious, and our guests never had to wait in line for a drink. The Director of Weddings, Steve, was an absolute delight to work with. He is clearly very passionate about his work and creating stress free, visually stunning events for his clients. I highly recommend this beautiful venue to all!

Simply Incredible!

We had, quite simply, a perfect wedding this past weekend at LondonHouse. Everything from the space, to the views, to the food, to the service was impeccable. The views from the Juliette Ballroom were amazing, and it was so special to get married right on the Riverwalk. Our guests could not stop raving about what a beautiful wedding it was. Additionally, the bridal suite was beautiful (and huge!) and we felt like royalty staying there. Finally, Steve Sleczka, LondonHouse’s wedding coordinator, was incredible. He was so accommodating, detail-oriented, and professional (despite any day-of hiccups that may have occurred!) and he never made us feel silly or overreaching no matter our request. We can’t thank LondonHouse enough for the best weekend of our lives!

My husband and I got married at LondonHouse in June 2018 and we could not have made a better choice. There are so many options to choose from in downtown Chicago that venue 'hunting' can be extremely overwhelming but coming across LondonHouse was absolute perfection. Not only was the location and views quintessential Chicago but the atmosphere was modern and sophisticated. Steve Sleczka (Director of Weddings) has a true gift and talent for attending/managing weddings and he best exercises his talents at LondonHouse. Any bride or groom should feel 100% - no 150% confident that your wedding will go perfectly with Steve & LondonHouse by your side. As the bride, his immaculate attention to detail, high energy and passion was exactly what I needed the days leading up to my wedding and also on my wedding day. I'm forever appreciative and grateful to Steve, LondonHouse, and the staff for making my wedding experience so magical that I wish I could relive it for years to come. Couples considering LondonHouse, listen here: You will not regret choosing this venue. It's timeless, elegant, modern and classy. We chose LondonHouse Chicago because of its central location, beautiful views and the professionalism of their Director of Weddings, Steve. We wanted our out of town guests to have a total Chicago experience and we found it at LH. We have received an overwhelming number of compliments from our guests on the food, service, venue and attention to detail. The entire staff at LondonHouse Chicago was without a doubt top notch. Steve from Day 1 of planning through our wedding day was extremely helpful. Every email answered, questions addressed, schedules laid out and he made the whole wedding day 100% worry free. Thank you, Steve and LondonHouse Chicago, for making our wedding day PERFECT!
