Park Wedding Venues in Chicago

Beautiful day, I'm happy how everything turned out. Awesome communication, service and everything went off without a hitch. Expensive but worth it for the atmosphere.

Had our wedding ceremony and reception at a Forest Preserve in Chicago. The permit process was very easy, and it was so cheap: we paid just $125 to reserve one of the large picnic shelters, including the extra catering permits. The park and bathrooms were very clean the day of our wedding, and there were 15 tables at the site. We had a very DIY wedding so this was perfect for us!

We just shared our reception on St. Patrick's Day at Cafe Brauer. What a beautiful venue! Carrie was absolutely phenomenal as well! This was the first venue we visited and booked right away! I would definitely recommend! I will remember how beautiful everything was for the rest of my life!

Food was excellent with an exquisite presentation. Atmosphere using the outdoor patio for appetizers and drinks was very inviting and beautifully put together with high top tables and cabaret tables/ Julia Payne our wedding coordinator did a fantastic job! Her suggestions and follow through were tops. You felt like you were at a destination wedding. The staff of servers were plentiful and always greeting the guest with a glass of wine or an appetizer. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding atmosphere they enjoyed.

Absolutely beautiful venue! The building is so stunning that it requires very little additional decoration which is nice. It's got indoor and outdoor options and it is spacious and affordable! Couldn't be happier with it for our wedding!

We had a small ceremony at the Conservatory, and it worked out perfectly! We had about 25 guests, and had a short ceremony (about 25 minutes total). We were able to rent the Conservatory for 2 hours, which was the perfect amount of time as we weee able to walk through the Conservatory before and after the ceremony while visiting with our guests. Our ceremony was held in the show house, which is beautiful and worked so well for us - there were a few benches available for our grandparents to rest on, and the space worked perfectly for us. While the rest of the Conservatory was pretty humid (it is a greenhouse!), they turned in a few fans, which kept it cool during our ceremony. The park district was easy to work with, and so responsive to our questions as we planned. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend!

We booked our ceremony & reception at Northerly Island (Old Meigs Field). Diane Hren at CPD was very flexible & accommodating with our needs, & even the staff that was on-hand to make sure things ran smoothly was great to deal with. The only "issues" we had with the place was that many of the overhead lights had gaping holes in the protective plastic, as did some ceiling tiles. We told Diane about these issues months out, but apparently the CPD didn't feel it was necessary to fix those issues. Otherwise, it's a fun, kitschy little place, & Diane & her team were wonderful to work with.
