Had our wedding ceremony and reception at a Forest Preserve in Chicago. The permit process was very easy, and it was so cheap: we paid just $125 to reserve one of the large picnic shelters, including the extra catering permits. The park and bathrooms were very clean the day of our wedding, and there were 15 tables at the site. We had a very DIY wedding so this was perfect for us!
