Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the service was flawless. The staff took care of every detail with such warmth and professionalism, making us feel so well cared for the entire time. Our guests were in absolute awe of the team - the level of attentiveness and hospitality left everyone raving. Between the incredible food, the seamless service, and the beautiful setting, we truly couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding.

We decided to host our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at The Gwen, because of the ease and value it provided. We held our events in their Private Events space across from their lobby bar "Upstairs at The Gwen". The space was absolutely perfect for our small group of 35, but could've easily held another 30-40 comfortably. We also decided to spend our weekend there in one of their suites. The suite was absolutely stunning with event better views. I had a total of 10 ladies in there and we had plenty of room to move around. Though, some of our noggins got the better of the beautiful chandelier lol. My husband and I have stayed at The Gwen previously, and this hotel has become our go-to.

Five stars is not high enough for The Drake Hotel Chicago! Every aspect of my daughter’s wedding planning and celebration was truly extraordinary. Within minutes of meeting our main contact, Sydney Waclawik, we knew we were in the best hands. From the first planning meeting to the final moments of the wedding day, Sydney was a steady, knowledgeable, and reassuring presence. Her professionalism, organization, and attention to detail were unmatched. Her fabulous support team of Sonya Ward and Shalinee Abraham assisted in seeing that all of our needs were met and executed flawlessly. Sydney and her team truly listened to my daughter’s vision and brought it to life with care and precision. They worked seamlessly with our vendors, ensuring everything went smoothly. Sharon Johnson, the Director of Reservations, made the guest room block process effortless, with prompt responses, clear communication, and kindness. The historic French Room set a stunning stage for the cocktail hour, and the timeless beauty of The Gold Coast Room wowed our guests as the reception venue. Unique traditions like The Drake’s renowned Bookbinders soup and the celebratory champagne parade added memorable wow factors that our guests are still talking about. The cuisine was extraordinary—every dish was delicious, artfully presented, and served with impeccable care. Under the direction of Georges, the Director of Banquets who oversaw the setup, the Banquet Captains Jorge and Lino delivered a dining experience that exceeded all expectations, making every guest feel celebrated. The guest rooms were spacious, immaculate, and luxurious. Floyd, the bellhop, was always on hand with a friendly smile and efficient service, further enhancing our experience. From start to finish, the entire team at The Drake Hotel was impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or team to host this special occasion. Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding a dream come true!

Much like everyone planning a wedding throughout covid, things got turned upside down. My fiancee and I planned to get married on our day even if it was just the two of us and an officiant in our living room. Luckily Chicago moved to Phase 4 and we were able to have a downsized covid safe wedding at the Loews Chicago Terrace. All workers masked at all times. Patrons masked at all points indoors, and once outside and in your own private space, people were able to take them off and there was plenty of room to socially distance. Our photographer recommended the Loews when we were first looking for a venue because in her words "of all the places I've worked, I've seen them pull off the most incredible events". Originally they had an event on our date, but with Covid we figured we'd check to see if they were open and doing smaller events. Less than a month to the date we secured the space and planned everything with them and they did an INCREDIBLE job. I stayed in one of the Lakeview suites to get ready. It was plenty big enough! Great rate as well. We had 40 people on the terrace. They had plenty of space for people to spread out. Several highboy tables, two different couch areas, 3-4 round tables with linens. Plenty of room to stand, mingle and spread out. They also had a tent set up which saved us from a two minute rain storm, but I was more interested in to save from the mid-summer Chicago sun/heat. All servers, managers, bartenders wore masks the whole time. The food was served by servers behind a partition. The restaurant kitchens aren't open yet, but they have partnerships with a few restaurants. We used Luella's Southern Kitchen and we had so many people tell us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Melissa with the Loews and Darnell from Luella's knocked it out of the park! Again, can't say enough good things about my experience with having our micro-wedding at the Loews!

I can’t say enough about the Renaissance team. Every bit of our experience was amazing. Our guests were left in awe. You MUST book this venue. The food, the arrangements and service were exceptional. The rooms were great too!

One of the best decisions my now-husband and I made during the whole wedding process was the choice to host the celebration at the Warwick Allerton. Living in Florida and wanting to hold the wedding in the groom’s hometown, we had a very tight timeline with choosing a venue. By chance, we wandered into the famous hotel with the “Tip Top Tap” sign that we had always wondered about and asked if they did weddings- they did! We were absolutely STUNNED by the beautiful ballrooms, elegant chandeliers, and warm service we received. From the beginning, Mina was super helpful and answered all our questions clearly and promptly. She provided thoughtful suggestions and honest advice to help us plan an amazing wedding in a tight timeline- just four months by the time we contacted her. Wedding planning and tastings went smoothly and were super fun! The team at Warwick also accommodated my busy schedule super well. From the time I was a little girl, I dreamed of a cathedral wedding followed by an elegant reception in a penthouse ballroom in a city, preferably at Christmas. Every aspect of that was delivered on. I cannot put into words how STUNNING the ballroom was an the views- it was simply magical (not like a typical hotel/corporate ballroom), and Mina went above and beyond and made sure we had little Christmas decorations from her own house and a giant tree. She also found string lights and put in little decor touches that we didn’t know we needed, but enhanced the space. Cocktail hour was both cozy and glamorous. The bartending service was AMAZING- all of our guests raved at how kind and efficient the staff was. There was NEVER a line, and as the bride, I always had a glass of wine in hand (the Warwick even managed to recreate the University of Alabama cocktail perfectly!!!) Most of the time, cocktail hour is a little bit of a slow part of weddings, but our guests were having so much fun it was hard to corral them into the dinner area! They were busy talking, drinking and eating the delicious appetizers, admiring the stunning Chicago skyline, and learning about the amazing history of the hotel. The rest of the evening ran flawlessly. As the bride, I didn’t have a ton of time to eat but finished the tender and juicy steak and yummy pear salad in a heartbeat. It was one of the best steaks I ever had- and many guests also came up to me raving about it! Mina also made sure my husband and I had water, champagne and got to sample the pizza and desserts after the celebrations were over, since we didn’t leave the dance floor the whole night! I loved relaxing and getting to eat my wedding cake, macarons, champagne, and petit fours after the celebration. The Warwick also left us the cutest card with a picture of us dancing on it! The bridal suite was gorgeous and comfortable as well. Lastly, Mina, Christina, and the whole Warwick team facilitated the event smoothly and professionally. When no one in the wedding party could figure out the complicated bustle, Christina stepped in and made sure my dress looked fabulous the whole night, and I could dance! She did it so quickly that my husband and I were able to enjoy cocktail hour stress free. The whole Warwick team, including the bartenders, waitstaff, cleaners, cooks, and front desk staff are warm, personable, and incredibly professional and good at what they do. My husband and I could not be more grateful for them for making our dreams come true and truly making our wedding one of the best days of our lives. I would recommend the Warwick to any bride who wants an elegant venue that truly speaks for itself, a team of vendors that truly care about your wishes and go above and beyond on your special day, and an absolutely fabulous guest experience.

We recently celebrated the wedding of our dreams at The Kimpton Gray, and it could not have been a more perfect experience. Our event manager, Mariah, was absolutely phenomenal. She led our planning process and solved any issues immediately. She impressed us with her professionalism, organization, and genuine care for every detail. Mariah went above and beyond, checking in on weeknights, weekends, any time we had a question it was answered immediately which helped our vision came to life seamlessly. The ceremony and reception were flawless thanks to Mariah and the entire Kimpton Gray team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly. The food and cocktails were incredible, the staff was attentive and kind, and our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and well-coordinated everything was. The Kimpton Gray is also dog friendly and fully embraced us having our two beloved corgis to be a part of our photos and ceremony! We’re beyond grateful to Mariah and everyone at The Kimpton Gray for making our wedding day so special. We truly can’t imagine a better venue or team to work with and will be recommending them to every couple we know.

We had our wedding on May 13, 2017 and it really was our dream wedding. The location was great. The food was delicious. The room was beautiful. The weather was perfect and we were able to have our cocktail hour on the river walk, which guests love. It has been 6 weeks and we continue to get compliments on how great the food was. Katya was wonderful to work with every step of the way. She was very responsive and helped make our dream wedding a reality!

The Eleve Ballroom is a beautiful, modern venue to have a wedding ceremony and reception. There are floor-to-ceiling windows that have almost panoramic views of the city! Phyllis Washington is a pleasure to work with. Each and every staff member is kind and hardworking! We are so grateful for all of them! The get ready rooms, suites, duplex suite are amazing spaces! The food came out hot for each of our guests! The food was delicious! The liquor menu and bar was incredible! We highly recommend the Swissotel Chicago for your special day!

We had our wedding (ceremony & reception) in the Burnham Ballroom at the JW Marriott and were beyond impressed with every aspect of our experience. The team was a pleasure to work with and met every request with a smile. Our guests were blown away by the grandeur of the room and how the Marriott team was able to transform the space between the ceremony & reception (special thank you to the Encore team for making the room beautiful with ceiling lighting!). Chrissy was our event manager and was always available to answer any questions we had leading up to the event, and during the festivities as well. Our guests continue to rave about the food, and how quick the waiter service was - they really helped keep the event on track! On top of all of that, the hotel rooms were stunning, and the JW team accommodated our need for a bigger bridal suite. We can’t thank everyone enough for making our day so special.
